Saya coughed "No..its not that...he told me he didn't love me...I felt himiluated, scared..heartbroken." She shrugged hershoulders and let out a mixture between a smirkish breath and a chuckle."I still fell that way."

"I awoke when I heard Ace`s cries, he was callin for his mom, I don`t know why, but seriously, he either had a bad dream, or he thinks he has seen a ghost, eh, lets watch some boxing." Said Butch, turning the tv on and changing the channel to the boxing championship.

"You boys seriously shouldn`t make fun of him." Said Taya.

Tito barked playfully, and garbbed the remote from Copper. He plopped down on the couch, his eyes half way closed.

Dodger eyed the chihuahua on the couch. He slowly went up to him, and barked, then garbbed the remote from Tito. He smiled ahpilly, with the remote in his mouth.

Cooper lugged a deer carcass in from the forest. He dropped it infront of Alaska. "I thought we could eat well tonight." He said, even though he got disgusted looks from some of the dogs. "A real wolf would feast on a deer, not some wet, canned mush." He growled at them. When one dog bounced up to eat, he stepped infront of them. "Alphas first." He barked, nudging the deer to Alaska. A tear was rolling down her cheek. "What's wrong?" His nose scrunched in confusion.

Ace looked up at his father. "Blue..." He whispered. He hiccuped in sorrow between sentences. "Blue is dead, Daddy..."

Cooper smiled at Ace. "No she's not, silly! You saw her earlier, she was just fine!" When Ace looked down and didn't answer, Cooper hesitated. "Is she?" She whispered to Alaska.

Alaska began to cry even more, she ran upstairs and screamed "Shes dead!" And the house went silent, no sound but the sound of the rain that dared not to cease away from the house.She smothered her head in the pilow and let out all of her tears.She walked back down stairs and refused to eat, she sat dow on her chair and waited...she didn't know for what.

"Mother?" Ace cried. "Mother!" He dashed upstairs, only to be held back by Cooper.

"She likes to be alone in times like this." Cooper barked. His eyebrows were curved up in sorrow, and Ace swore he saw a tear trickle down his father's cheek, but it vanished instantly. No-one had ever seen Cooper cry.

Alaska walked to Ace "No..its o Cooper realy." She said witha fake smile, nuzzling his chest.She picked up Ace and sat him on the chair "Now what do you need?" She asked, her tail wrapped around him.

"Momma, I don't want you to be sad. She's happy. In paradise, with new friends, remember? But she misses us like we miss her!" Ace nuzzled Alaska. "Remeber? You said that."

Cooper looked at Ace shocked. "Who knew such big words could come from such a small thing?" He smiled softly and padded over to what remained of his family.
