"How about a stick?" She asked in one of the starry fields lying down in one of them. She held up a stick that looked like a crow bar and dropped it before his paws.

Mike picked up the stick and let Jamie to the plate on the mountain. He stared at the plate a second.
"Have we tried rotating it?"

"Well, weren't we going to wait until morning though?" She yawned, " But, no. We haven't." She said rotating the stick and soon, after minutes, it budged.

Mike chuckled after hearing what Jamie said.
"I'm sorry. I thought it would take longer."
Mike paused at watched the plate slowely rotating. Mike let go of the stick, as he was helping Jamie, and began rotating it with his paws. suddenly it lifted with a click.
"Looks like we got it," He smiled, and lifted it away. Under it was steel colored plate with a small hole that the plate fit into. Nothing else.
"Now what?"

Mike ra after her with the plate in his mouth. Once he made it back to the den, he laid down next to Jamie, and set the plate down in front of her.
"So...What do you think. It's heavy, lots of markings on it. Look at this one," He said pointing to a symbol on the plate. "Looks like a wolf. This one looks like a big star, and this one is a tree. Wish i knew what it all meant."

Mike noticed Jamie falling asleep.
"Well, we'll figure it out tomorrow," He replied, yawning.
Soon both wolves were fast asleep.

Max ran up to them at the crack of dawn saying, "It's gone! The plate's gone!" He yelled in their den.
"What! It wasn't me!" She asked waking up from a dream.
