The musher went back and hooked the other two dogs up. He gave the command to go, and Blizzard didn't. She wasn't going to leave with out Tony, or Max. She whined and the musher noticed why. He called, " Tony! Max! Come on boys!"

Max`s ears shot straight up as he ran outside and slipped on an ice patch, coming nose to nose with Blizzard infront of everybody.

Blizzard got embarrassed and her cheeks started to turn red as she felt his nose against hers, " Hello Max." She said and gave a faint smile towards him. The musher took him and hooked him up saying, " Good boy." He gave Max a treat.

Tony's ear perked up and he ran outside of the barn and over to the musher, panting and wagging his tail happily. He got into his place, which was wheel dog, and sat down, waiting to get harnessed.

The musher hooked him up and he pet the dog, " Good boy." He got behind the wheel and called the signal to start. Blizzard suddenly ran and ran very fast.

Max`s cheeks were burning too, but he soon forgot about it. He matched his pace with Tony`s, it was amazing how the team could move in unison. Well, sometimes.

They were finally back at the barn and she was out of breathe! She then tended to her food and drank her water, "Good race guys!" She barked.

Jay walked over to a small bowl and lapped up some water, then she walked over to a corner and curled up in a ball with her tail over her nose, shivering slightly.

Tony was out of breathe from the race and panting. Blizzard was running so fast for him, he alomst tripped twice in the middle of the practice! He ran inside and lapped up some water from another bowl. Once he drank it all, he was all better and sat down, still panting to cool himself off. "Blizzard... why'd... you... have... to... run... so... fast...?" Tony asked each word after a pant.

Scarlette was kept with her harness and trotted back in, shaking her fur. She smiled to Blizzard "great run" she huffed and sat down next to tony, as the dog lapped up the water ravenously. She chuckled softly and looked at him as the bruised water droplets fell from his maw "you ok tony?" she asked, watching his chest heave for breath.

Blizzard felt a need to go comfort Frost. She went over and layed down beside the dog keeping an eye out for danger, then falling asleep in the barn as the musher closed the door and turned a light on so the dogs wouldn't be cold.
