Aleu looked down, feeling ashamed, she knew her parents had forgiven how she'd acted, how much she wanted to hate her dad when she'd found out she was a hybrid, she'd come to her senses and knew they wouldn't hold that against her but she still felt bad for it.

Besides, I doubt that they'll be thinking about that today when you go and see them. They'll be too excited about having you back."
