Balto nodded. "I know." he said. "I don't know what's more amazing, Dipsy's ability to steal nearly anything from her owner or the fact she eats so much!"
"I've been searching for my son for three years almost, now that I've found him, I'm never letting him out of my site again." said Sable.
Jenna nodded. "Please." she said.
Miki grabbed her mother's bandana to help her walk forwards in the strong wind.

"I would hope not," May said. "I;m glad you'll be staying."
Rose walked behind Jenna and pushed her with her muzzle everytime she slowed down.
Saba stayed in the lead, taking her mother's place as leader.

Balto nodded. "Yeah, when she's yelling at Mel."
Fang nuzzled his mother. "I'm glad you will be mom, I missed you so much it hurt." he said.
Sable nuzzled him back comfortingly, knowing he had a lot of pain inside from being abandoned by Steele.
Jenna kept her eyes on the road. "Here we are, lets head down that path and girls, start howling so maybe your father will hear it."

"You mean sometimes when she's yelling at Mel," Kodi said. "I;ve seen her chewing on some jerky as she yells at him."
May watched Fang ans Sable, glad that this trip had brought them together again.
Rose started down the path and howled whenever she wasn't helping Jenna.
Saba started howling, and her's ran clear and unstopping.

Balto nodded with a chuckle but his ears perked when he heard his daughters howls. "Kodi, that's your sisters." he said with a smile. He reared his head back and howled.
Fang heard the howls. "That's Kodi's sisters, they're coming to rescue us!" he said. He started to howl.
Dusty reared her head back and howled, the sled team practiced their howls, they weren't wolves but they still could howl.
Miki kept howling, her eyes brightening when she heard the howls from the sled team.

"I can't believe it," Kodi said. He lifted his head and howled.
May opened her eyes wide. They were being rescued. She howled in excitement.
Ralph and Kirby joined in the howls.
Saba smiled when she heard the return howls. As she lifted her head again, her voice was stronger with confidence.
Rose stopped howling and smiled. "It's Dad!" she said. That was the howl that stood out most to her.

Balto howled louder. He couldn't wait to see Jenna again.
Jenna smiled and her eyes lit up. She saw were they'd fallen. "They fell down this hill." she said. "We'll need to be careful."

Kodi was so happy that his own family was coming to sace them.
May was just relieved that they were getting rescued at all.
"Okay," Rose said, looking at the hill with interest.

Balto looked to Kodi. "We'd better go closer to the mouth of the cave so they'll see us." he said. "Help me up."
"Thank goodness we're being rescued. "Yeah, lets go to the mouth of the cave." he said and stood up.
Miki looked at the hill side. "We just have to be careful." she said and started down the hill slowly, making sure she didn't slip.

"Sure." Kodi helped Balto up and let him lean against his side. "You okay?" he asked to make sur ehis father wasn't hurt.
May got up as well, momentarily forgetting about her sore shoulder.
Kirby went to the mouth of the cave and looked up at the hill. "Hey, I think I see them," he said.
Rose walked down beside her mother, to help her if she slipped.
Saba went down slowly too, her eyes on a dark shape in the white of the snow. She wasn't sure what it was yet.

"I'll be ok." said Balto. "I'll be better once we get home and a vet looks at my leg." he said, walking with Kodi's help to the cave mouth. He howled to get their attention.
Fang walked up to the mouth of the cave. He grimoused. "Eww, I can smell the skunk spray again."
Jenna smiled as they made it to the bottem. "Thank goodness they're alright."

"I hope they get down the hill alright," Kodi said before howling with Balto.
"The herbs must have worn out near here," May said.
"They do have Dad with them," Rose said.

Jenna got to solid ground and ran to Balto she nuzzled him but gagged. "What's that smell?" she said and held her nose, it was a LOT worse than the wolverines.
"We all got skunked." said Balto.
Miki ran to Kodi and nuzzled him but reacted about the same as her mother. "Peeyeew." she groaned, eyes watering.

Sab ran up to Kirby, Ralph, and Dusty. "I;m so glad to see you!"
Rose nuzzled May. "I'm so happy we finally found you."
"I'mm happy you did too," May said with a smile.
Kodi shrugged. "We ran into a skunk." He sniffed Mikki. "And you don't exactly smell like roses either."
