Jenna nodded, looking forward and taking up the same position as Balto. "We're almost ready." she echoed.

Tai blushed. "you don't exactly smell like a field of wildflowers when you're wet either, Cachen." she retorted with a slight huff. Watching however and getting ready to run as well. "Let's see if your feet move as fast as your mouth."

Kai smiled back. "Suure." he said in a soft tone.

Kodi nodded, getting intop a ready position as well. "You're a good friend too, Fang. I odn't know what would happen without ya. I can certainly say that our lives would be different." he smiled broadly.

Jenna looked through the crowd, spotting Rosie as well with a light sniff. She'll be just fine...

Kodi laughed. "I have to agree with you on that."

Kai yelped, rubbing his ear irritably. "What was that for?!" he demanded.

"Gee thanks," Tai smirked. "that's what every girl wants to hear!" she rubbed his head playfully.

Charlie nodded, watching the crowd cheer and applaud. "Mr. Samson, if you'll be on your way, good luck to you!"

Balto nuzzled Jenna. "It'll be alright, Rosy's a big girl now, she can handle a few days without her dogs." he said, waiting for the mush from Mr. Samson. He let out a howl for his team, wanting them to join him.

"Well this will be far from boring." said Fang. He heard Balto's howl and replied to it.

Cachen chuckled. "Just having fun with my sis." he said then responded to his grandfather's howl with a strangely identical one.

"Because, we don't want you not being ready when we get the order." said Lena. She head Balto's howl. "Now that you shouldn't have any trouble doing." she said, letting out a howl.

Rob smiled at the howls. "Family heratage." he said.

"I know," Jenna said, her mind drifting off to way back, she even forgot to howl, eyes kept ahead of her.

Kodi nodded, howling along with his Father.

Tai and Kai began to howl as well, Kai's was deep and rich while Tai's was low and sweet.

Charlie laughed a moment. "True, it's cute isn't it?" he asked jokingly.

Mr. Samson nodded, saying that one word everyone was waiting for; "Mush!"

Jenna moved in unison with her mate, glancing back at the small cheering crowd.

Kodi smiled, thinking of Katie, happy and healthy once more. Katie, we'll get you your medicine.

Tai smiled, beginning to run as her line was tugged, as if by instinct.

Kai was more reluctant, but kept a steady pace. Stay alive Mom...We're going to save you!

Mr. samson smiled. His dogs would live and he'd keep his job.

Charlie nodded. "I'll go check on the dogs. It'll keep my mind off of the team."

Jenna nodded gently. "you're absolutely right"

Kai laughed "yea, that really relieves my anxiety, Cachen." he said sarcastically.

"You already were bud." Kodi said. "But people were too blind to see that."

"See?" Tai teased. "It pays to resemble Dad the most."

Charlie nodded. "Definately, Morris is very important"

Although Katie was asleep, her hearing was still perfect. She seemed to smile at the thought of her pups helping her. Now, as Rob left, she slept on. Coughing once in a while of course.

Jenna nodded, giving a sigh. "Because, you've been pulling sleds since 1925. You enjoy the thrill."

"No," Kai said, chuckling. "It's not the most dangerous. It's the scariest for me."

Tai gasped. "Hey!!" she cried in astonishment.

Kodi nodded "Oh I know, that's all any kid wants; to have their parent's support."

Charlie smiled, looking about at the dogs, he leaned down and checked them over. "don't worry "he said gently "your teammates are going to help you."
