wolf, spirit, balto. wrote: I don't know if this has been asked yet, but i can't help wondering; what happened to Kodi and Dusty's pups?? Dragon Tamer: I learned from studying the techniques of J.R.R. Tolkien that it's a good idea to have some things "on the fringes" of a story. The Toby series, as a result, only spotlights one part of a much smaller world. Kodi and Dusty's pups overlapped because Kodi and Dusty are close friends of Toby and relatives of Luna, and because Dusty's imminent return would put Norik's job on the team in jeopardy (making his loyalty to Toby all the more noble). In the end, I cannot say what happened to them. Perhaps they became sled dogs, like their parents. Perhaps they did not. Or perhaps some did and some didn't. Perhaps you, dear reader, will be the one to find out.

Toby I have a question through out this lil conversation, "Why are you so rude to Pete?" I know Luna dislikes him because he lied to her, and females hold it against them for the rest of their lives, but why you? For me it's you bullying Pete around in this discussion. I well know I'm probably the only fan in Toby series who likes Pete best. But Really you two are SO mean to him. Pete states he hates you basically, then you go back at him, often inferring that is stupid. Why at this rate you be like a Steele. Why are you so mean to him?
Toby here you imply Pete is stupid, "Yeah, they're beneath lunkheads like him."
You've already stated this "Maybe because your dad was dead, and my dad saved her life" Your inferring that Pete's father is inferior to yours, he cares more about your mother, then Pete's, also hinted he was slower then your father...I wonder what your mother would think of that.
Toby here you imply Pete can't find love, "Yeah, at least you still have a chance. Or you would if you could find a girl who could put up with you for two seconds!" Now you say he can't find love, because he is unable of doing so, because no girl would like him, sound sure sounds like something Steele would say to Balto, when they were your age. He'd probably mention wolf-dog though.
Toby again, Pete can't find love when someone asked you about it, your response!, "(Toby and Luna burst out laughing) Toby: Pete? That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard!" Toby do have any idea what you look like right now?! Who you are becoming?
Toby you do so again, when Pete States what he is looking for in a girl, "Wouldn't that eliminate any girl who'd find you attractive?" Is what you thought of, in a girl not so different, well yes. But what you said you wanted wasn't what you got. You got Luna, I'm fairly sure that is a surprise even to the mighty Toby. This sounds very similar to me 'Maybe your taste runs toward wolf' Also saying that only ugly is attracted to him, some mouth you have there...
Then again, Pete says he doesn't want to stick his neck out for just everybody, which most are like, but sense you have Rex-o as your father. Who sticks his neck for everyone I understand that, if he didn't he wouldn't be doing his job right, but that doesn't mean you criticize others of who they stick their neck out for. I was sure your father taught you better, guess not. "You've done it for practically every girl in town." when Pete said he wouldn't stick his neck out.
Pete's mate apparently is mention you say this, "Darn, I have to warn her." Sounds to me that you don't want Pete to have love, to the point that you go out and ensure it, telling females he is a bad person, you shouldn't be around him, he's rude. Which isn't the truth, now your being like Steele again. Kinda like throughing stolen meat at Pete when you did it. I wonder why Luna likes you so much, maybe because you have a target you both like to hate, bring down in the mud, and point and laugh. Which you have already done before...in this topic alone.
To finally respond to Terry's answer, to you it seems to be a mystery why you, would have to chase Pete down to talk to him. Why he doesn't call you 'mother', boy heh, oblivious parent, only see what you want to, you don't deserve that title from Pete.

May I point out that this is an interview, not an inquisition? If you were in a courtroom half of these questions would see you heaved right out the door. Nonetheless, I will humor your little attacks. KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Toby I have a question through out this lil conversation, "Why are you so rude to Pete?" Toby here you imply Pete is stupid, "Yeah, they're beneath lunkheads like him." Toby: Well, I guess I was pretty hersh, but Pete is a jerk. And in the context, he was talking like mixed-breed dogs are inferior, which sure qualifies him as a lunkhead. I guess... I dunno. KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: You've already stated this "Maybe because your dad was dead, and my dad saved her life" Your inferring that Pete's father is inferior to yours, he cares more about your mother, then Pete's, also hinted he was slower then your father...I wonder what your mother would think of that. Toby: Now that's going overboard. I never said his dad was any worse than my dad. In fact, from what Mom says about him, I would have liked to have him for a dad - no offense, Dad. Rex: None taken. Toby: The point is, he acts like I'm illegit, like Mom did something wrong. She didn't. And he treats my dad like garbage. My dad saved Mom's life. Not saying that Pete's dad would have done any less if he were in the same situation, but the point is that when I said that, I wasn't trying to put his dad down - I was sticking up for mine. Luna: Yeah, get it in context, will you? KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Toby here you imply Pete can't find love, "Yeah, at least you still have a chance. He'd probably mention wolf-dog though. Dragon Tamer: You're really being one-sided on this one. Pete's whole problem, the same as Steele had, is that he judges everyone by two criteria: where they come from (i.e. ancestry) and what they can do for him. That's what Toby was getting at. He's not getting after Pete for things he can't control, like his parentage, but for what he can control: his actions. That's the whole point. Luna: Pete's not ugly, at least not on the outside, but unless his attitude gets a complete overhaul he's never going to find a girl. I should know. KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Toby again, Pete can't find love when someone asked you about it, your response!, "(Toby and Luna burst out laughing) Toby: Pete? That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard!" Rex: If this were a courtroom you'd have at least five fines right now for badgering and leading the wit- Terry: [nudging Rex with shoulder] I don't think that's going to help, dear. Toby: Look, it's perfectly simple. As he is right now, Pete has about as much chance of getting a girl as I do of growing wings. Wouldn't you laugh? KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Toby you do so again, when Pete States what he is looking for in a girl, "Wouldn't that eliminate any girl who'd find you attractive?" She is not some second-choice, she's everything I ever wanted in a friend, and a mate. I didn't choose her because she's beautiful - which she is. I chose her because she's always there for me. Yes, I was surprised to get her, but not in the way you seem to think (re-read "Uh-Oh Romeo"). 2) I never said only ugly girls were attracted to him. Stop putting words in my mouth. KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Then again, Pete says he doesn't want to stick his neck out for just everybody, which most are like, but sense you have Rex-o as your father. Toby: I was talking in a completely different sense of "sticking his neck out," when I talked about girls. Remember his showdog-neck in "Doom or Destiny?" Enough said. KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Pete's mate apparently is mention you say this, "Darn, I have to warn her." Toby: First, I was being sarcastic. And second, I'm looking out for the girls he has his sights set on. Pete has no respect for them, and I don't want to see some innocent girl end up stuck with a guy who doesn't care about her at all. That happened to Luna's grandmother, remember? It's obvious to me that you're the one "only seeing what you want to see." I could count on half a finger the comments you've made that were even remotely in context, and this one is no exception. Terry has tried to rach out to Pete. She has tried to be a decent mother. But Pete will not acknowledge that as long as Terry cares about Rex, even in a purely social sense (see "Toby: The Beginning"). The reason Pete won't talk to Terry or acknowledge her as his mom is abundantly clear: he won't forgive her for moving on after his father's death. It's that simple. Pete: What, that's not enough of a reason? Dragon Tamer: I rest my case.

This is an interview; I simply put a few statements to ensure that Toby couldn't deny it. I never said Pete wasn't at fault. Pete is a jerk to some people, whom in my opinion, he should be. To me Pete does act wrong, he should only view Toby as a rival, but he takes it a step too far. His mother is the only villain I see for Pete's life. This does not mean Terry is a villain. Don't tread on me. In a court room, these questions wouldn't be thrown out the door, there is no reason, and there isn't enough domestic violence against Pete for it to even go to court. There isn't enough evidence for it.
Note this, I like Terry just fine, she is more than an excellent mother to Toby, but that isn't true to Pete. She only takes the politically correct efforts with Pete, I don't believe she has actually 100% tried to rebuild her relationship with Pete. She didn't think about any of her children when she thought of Rex, she puts herself #1, then her family on love. Now please note this Terry, you're my 2nd fav female character on this site. You've only made mistakes and what I'd call 'selfish', which only cost you your son. Which from what I've seen, you don't mind that price, as long as you have Rex.
The first statement in a court room after, "Well, I guess I was pretty harsh." I'd instantly say no further questions, if he continued; I'd say that wasn't question. It would only be baddgering on the presantation of the questions and statements where stated, and presanted wrongly.
Now to the comment on the 2nd statement, I never said you said, Pete's Father, is weaker than Rex. Your putting words in my mouth Toby...I said you inferred, if honestly you didn't think that, why did you have mention his father was dead; he had been dead for weeks at that point. If you only wanted to support your father, he should be all you needed to mention. You chose to add his father in that sentence, which seems you want to bring him down, and yours up. That's all I was saying put that in context. Instead claiming I said different, Luna 'Inferred', inferred.
To the third statement DT, I know the soul reason why Pete constantly puts himself against Toby, is because of his parents, it's to him Yuke's vs. Rex's generation. So what Pete simply wants to do, is put what Yuke left behind will be seen better then Rex's. I see good reason for that, Toby 'wanted' to be a sled dog, Pete's father was a lead dog. So Pete wanting to up his father wants to prove he is faster than Toby, for his father's sake. Which he believes he stands for. Although Pete did lose his race with Toby; when he was also cheating. Which I think if he didn't he would have won, because he would be trying harder. So that was horrible on Pete's actions, and the fact he lost the race, if you can put into mind how much that hurt Pete. Although Pete, is simply too 'tough' to admit that, I know that hurt. I know this was a bit out of order xD.
To the third one Rex, this wouldn't be badgering the witness, at all. he he lol. I know this it isn't at all if this was a court room you would silenced Rex. 'Overruled.' 100% sure of that Rex. In fact after this I have family friend who is a lawer to see if that would be valid for baddgering. Now with Toby you have such a doubt, Pete is unable to find love at all, it's a joke. I wouldn't laugh at my favorite character in your story. So can't we all laugh at that lil story problem, with Luna not having pups, why can't we laugh at that? Why? Because both are inappropriate.
The fourth statement Toby, YOU watch what you say to Pete, and if he finds love your saying he wouldn't love her, or show respect. How do you KNOW that? I do you know when he finds someone it’s going to be different, I think a reason why he has an issue with females, and giving them trust, is his because of his mother. You've already condemned him, 'Judge' Toby into a horrible person; you seem to say this in every response about it. How do you know, things change I bet your mother didn't go so simply I can find love again, after her 1st mate died. It took time, why don't you give Pete that. Sure you have given him time, only in that time you insult him about. Also again I never stated you stated that you said 'ugly' was attracted to Pete, you implied it-only.
The 5th statement, it was called for on my part, Pete in this discussion has only been attacked at it. Only another person said Pete could find love, and then simply every character thought it was joke. All of this was in context, guess you could call it politics, where it is often most seen. Any statement can be taken in more than one way, that basically what I was getting at here, with my question. I would only reason that a decent mother would at least try to protect her 'son', from it. She never did, I know Pete wouldn't like it very much, but it proves she is trying...at least.
You rest your case DT. Pete the reason your mother loves someone else alone isn't enough, but what makes it valid, is how she did it. That's the only reason why she doesn't deserve to be called a certain title, is how.
Rex if you honestly wanted to become Pete's step father, when you in a sense chased him away. Which I've already stated his huge mistakes and why I don't think Pete's mother should even give him the title of Step-father because he has done 0 things to earn that from Pete. Only in her lil' world he has. And again if actually even wanted to be Pete's step-father, he should have defended him here, although Pete would attack him over it, but it shows he cares. All he ever stated to Pete in this, is basically not his words but how I would rewrite it, 'I was a bit harsh at first, but he should get over the fact I'm with his mother.' is how I would put it. He should be doing something, but that isn't my question.
What I dislike is how to everyone Terry and Rex have done nothing wrong, when they have, not so much Rex, but he has faults. He has done nothing, Terry only the politically correct things. I don't know about if Rex is strong enough to earn Pete's respect, but I honestly will 100% trust that if Terry tried her best, Pete would call her mother again. She is strong enough for that, I think she likes having Pete dislike her, and I really do believe a small part of her does. She has never really supported Pete at all; mainly it's his own doing of his issues. Never offer help, well he put himself into this mess, he should get himself out. Lets do a lil rewind here, Pete's father dies. Yeah go tell the family your father is head, and then I'll be missing for a few weeks, and tell no one where I'm going. Rex saves her life, Oh Rex, oh Terry, oh Rex, Suddenly 'Pete appears', oh hey Pete I have found new love, welcome him in the family! I'm I the only one who saw that in that story. That aint mother like at all, she should have done something, she overly proud of Toby, and she isn't proud of a single thing from Pete, to her Pete's a walking disaster. She proves she thinks this way, to me she has.
Toby finds it a very funny joke to make fun of the chance Pete has at finding love. Already put it as impossible, if a mother truly cared for her son, she would fight this, especially if she 'was' trying to rebuild a broken relationship. She did nothing as far as I know she was laughing along with it as well. Rex I believed he chuckled at that, because if it wasn't for Pete, the whole family would be happy, but Pete has to ruin it. Always quick to defend his blood as seen, and not his step-blood in any fashion. More often then not he critizes Pete, rather then say he is someone in any fashion. Then saying Pete hasn't given him chance, huh funny world. As well as teaching Toby a lesson in manors, which Pete needs one as well. And I know you’re going to say Pete has to correct himself first or more. You make the world better by fixing yourself first; you don't wait on the other to fix themselves first. I would think Rex taught you that.
Pete isn't a perfect character if he was, he could easily get rid of Rex, and Toby, but he isn't, which is why he is my favorite character in this story, also among personal reasons. Pete can sometimes be stupid, yes very stupid, if he was smart, Luna would believe she loves him right now, but he had to be dumb and lost that. Also I think doing that would slowly lose interest in Pete and probably he would rudely tell her the truth. Also Pete does have issues, he kinda should accept Rex into his life, although Rex hasn't remote tried to expect Pete, 'it's his fault, that he doesn't accept me' (You did not say that, it's how it is, just put into words. I will repeat myself, you did not say that) that way of thinking, he will never accept Rex.
One of the things which I think Pete is far superior then Toby is in, is simply will power, I know from my own experience is simply to continue to face what everyone thinks is right or wrong and stand against it constantly. Which Pete can do, I know Toby would collapse under that type of pressure, he couldn't handle it, and being alone in everything he does. Pete does this often, Toby can't. Toby has the world in which he can rely on. Pete only has himself, and why would he seek help from those whom think him finding love is impossible and a funny joke, as well not even standing against that, why would anyone go to them for aid. Pete is alone, by choice, and by force, there is a combination of the two.
Thank you for proving some of my points and answering my questions.

I was not the one who made it impossible for him to win that race for a spot on the team, because A) he was the one who had to hold his head up like a showdog and B) at least half a dozen dogs (besides the ones on the team) came in ahead of him. So even if I hadn't been in the race, he would have lost. Dragon Tamer: As for the courtroom analogy, I think it fits to a T. So far, you've done nothing but toss around accusations left and right: bad parenting, slandering... shall I continue to list the attacks you've accused them of? KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Note this, I like Terry just fine, she is more than an excellent mother to Toby, but that isn't true to Pete. Terry: Like I've said before, Pete was never reasonable. I was helping Rex with a case, and Pete insisted on assuming that I was up to no good. I'd be doing him less of a favor if I let him manipulate me; no good mother would let her adult son get his way with a temper tantrum. You'll notice his brothers and sisters weren't really mentioned - because they just did what I did: mourned for awhile and then moved on. Pete is the only one still holding onto what happened, and I'm bit going to say he's wrong for missing his father. I still go out to visit Yukon's grave nearly everyday (Pete, as far as I know, hasn't been there in months). But when he tries to control everyone else with his attitude, that's not acceptable. If you must know, Pete is the reason Rex and I only had the one litter. I wanted another one, but I couldn't stand the thought of having another pup whom Pete would treat like an enemy. It's not just "guilt" by association with Rex that Pete hates me for; he expects me to take sides in the fight between him and Toby. How can I choose between my children? Rex: Even if it were fair to ask, it's nothing short of barbaric to tell her to side with the one son who has been trying to control her by not acting his age. All that would do is set both of them a bad example. KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: The first statement in a court room after, "Well, I guess I was pretty harsh." Toby: As for when he cheated in that race, he wasn't racing for his dad. He was racing so he and his gang could throw Loki's life on the line just to make them more effective criminals.Terry: I can tell you this much: his father had no part in that.KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: To the third one Rex, this wouldn't be badgering the witness, at all. he he lol. And if you don't at least come up with something better than these half-baked ad hominem (ad canus, whatever) character assaults, I will not put up with it. I will not have my topic turned into a flame war, or else.Toby:[/i] Thanks, DT. Anyway, Krazy, you're really pushing it. Luna's problem was never her fault. Pete's inability to get a girlfriend was entirely his fault. Like I said, nobody helped him lose all those girls. He did that on his own.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: The fourth statement Toby, YOU watch what you say to Pete, and if he finds love your saying he wouldn't love her, or show respect. How do you [b]KNOW that? I do you know when he finds someone it’s going to be different, I think a reason why he has an issue with females, and giving them trust, is his because of his mother. You've already condemned him, 'Judge' Toby into a horrible person; you seem to say this in every response about it. How do you know, things change I bet your mother didn't go so simply I can find love again, after her 1st mate died. It took time, why don't you give Pete that. Sure you have given him time, only in that time you insult him about. Also again I never stated you stated that you said 'ugly' was attracted to Pete, you implied it-only. Toby: The same way you know that if you jump, you'll come back down: because every time you've jumped, you came back down. And he's had years of not dealing with it. Mom let go, but Pete's just holding a grudge. And until he gets rid of it, he's never going to have a decent relationship.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: The 5th statement, it was called for on my part, Pete in this discussion has only been attacked at it. Terry: Like I said before, I don't want to get involved with this. What am I supposed to do, referee for the rest of their lives when Pete won't even listen? I honestly don't know what to do with this. It hurts to see them fighting, but the only way out of it is them making peace. Luna: I'm not going to say it.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: You rest your case DT. Pete the reason your mother loves someone else alone isn't enough, but what makes it valid, is how she did it. That's the only reason why she doesn't deserve to be called a certain title, is how.Rex if you honestly wanted to become Pete's step father, when you in a sense chased him away. Dragon Tamer: I think I should step in and point out that just because you've read the stories doesn't mean you know everything before, after, or in between. There's a lot you don't know. So stop pretending. Now, Rex, Terry, proceed. Terry: What do you mean by how I did it? Rex: And why do you act as if I want nothing to do with my stepson? I want to, but what am I supposed to do when he won't even talk to me in repeatable words? And as Dragon Tamer said, I have tried to speak kindly to him about it. The last time I did, though, Orde had to intervene and detain him on charges of assaulting an officer.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: What I dislike is how to everyone Terry and Rex have done nothing wrong, when they have, not so much Rex, but he has faults. Terry: You think I want to have my son treating me like a witch or something? No. I tried to be kind to him, in ways and places you (again) know nothing about. I would have been chering for him just as much as Toby in that dogsled race if he wold let me, but after all these years of him hating me every time I try to act like his mother, I... well, I just don't have the heart to do it anymore. As for asking Pete to tell his brothers and sisters Yukon was dead, I'll admit that was a mistake. And my disappearance... well, if I'd been able to hold up I never would have run away in the first place, letalone without notice. Rex: Yes, and the image you're painting of what happened with me and Terry is not at all how it happened. At the outset, Terry and I had no romantic attraction for each other. Pete just assumed that, and far more, without bothering to look into what really happened. Much as you're doing now. Terry As for that last part, about being proud of Toby, what am I supposed to be proud of Pete for? Gang leadership? Attempted murder? I try to be proud of him simply because he's my son, but when he refuses to acknowledge it it's nearly impossible to do.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Toby finds it a very funny joke to make fun of the chance Pete has at finding love. Terry: Pete was hard to get along with (at best) when it came to girlfriends even before his father died. And I never laughed. Rex: And I do acknowledge Pete as someone, or - and think this through carefully - I wouldn't bother trying to get him to be the dog I know he can be. Granted, I've never been perfect at it. Nobody can. It's hard enough being a father. Being a step-father is all but unlivable. I've spent hours trying to connect with him, and even pulled a few strings which by law I shouldn't have pulled to get him out of his tighter spots.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Pete isn't a perfect character if he was, he could easily get rid of Rex, and Toby, but he isn't, which is why he is my favorite character in this story, also among personal reasons. Luna: Oh, I would have caught on eventually. My memory was coming back, and even to a person with amnesia love isn't something you can fake when you've experienced the real thing. Rex: And like I said above, I've tried to show Pete that I'm concerned with his well-being. But try it yourself and see how far you get.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: One of the things which I think Pete is far superior then Toby is in, is simply will power, I know from my own experience is simply to continue to face what everyone thinks is right or wrong and stand against it constantly. Toby: But he is wrong, and he knows it. That's the whole point. I never knew his dad, but I asked mom and she said Pete's dad was very clear on things like getting into gangs and stealing things and treating others like they're inferior just because of where they come from. He knows what he's doing is wrong, you can bet on that.
KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: Thank you for proving some of my points and answering my questions. Dragon Tamer: The only one proving anything here is you: that you aren't at all concwrned with right or wrong, only with seeing your favorite character win the prize no matter how openly he cheats.

1st statement, he just views you as his rival for who is better, he doesn't have much reason for it other then your Rex's son, lol that's about it. Pathetic as that is, is what I believe.
2nd statement, Pete isn't reasonable at all! I believe that, but your strong enough to get by that, your just being lazy in my opinion. No words any of you can say, will change that. Mourned for awhile eh? I doubt you would have recovered so fast if it wasn't for Rex. Pete has no Rex for him, and he couldn't go to you because you where most likely missing when he would have asked for help. I would only guess Pete has been to father's grave once, maybe more, I hardly thinks he visits it. As well, you going to his grave nearly everyday, can be seen as someone wanting attention. Visiting a fallen loved one everyday, I'm not saying you are! But Pete might think that.
I'm NOT saying let Pete control you! That is plain stupid! I just think you should try to understand Pete, rather then he always needs to understand you. Just having one litter, because of Pete...WOW. I would flame that surely for a paragraph or two, but this isn't a flame, it's an interview. As for picking sides, you clearly chosen Toby, so don't even talk about that.
3rd. DT well I wouldn't put it in those words, that harshly, the only one who I blame is Terry, and I'm trying to point out, that Toby has character flaws, and is in some ways a bully. I know Pete tries to act one, but he can't do it well. Toby on the other hand, does it well, and gets the whole cast to mock Pete. (Not like Pete doesn't try to as well)
4th. Toby, Toby, Toby....All I hear from you is justification.
5h. Well DUH! Pete wasn't thinking of his father at all. I think afterwords, he isn't a fast dog like his father, I really believe that hurts him, and Toby I think likes putting that in Pete's face. Pete only chose to be a criminal because of Rex, that what I believe the only reason, as stupid as that sounds. I think that's the reason.
Another uh duh! Yuke wasn't like that at all! Who in the world would think that? I don't even know why you said that, but words are words. I guess you want enforce, that he wasn't thinking of his father or like his father.
6th, one word for you Toby. Justification.
Toby well I HIGHLY doubt that. Same again everything you say about Pete has justification so it's right. Right?
7th. Terry you don't want to get involved, it seems you don't want to be in Pete's life. Pete has to correct himself first, this reason is one of the many of why you don't deserve to be called 'mother' from Pete. Luna and don't say it, I'm happy you didn't I didn't ask you question.
8th. No. No. lol No. I don't know everything about these characters. I don't know everything middle or any of that. Only an idiot would think that, I don't pretend I know everything. I don't lol I'll be superman the day I know. Noooo way can I know all that, noooo way.
Um...Terry I could write a lil' more than a page, explain how you did it wrong. Most would consider that 'flame war' So I'll cut it down. Into one considered 'flame' rather rude statement. You came to be with Rex, selfishly, and slothfully.
Rex, Oh no, detain! Sorry I find that word funny. Sorry just trying to lighten up the mood for the others lol. Rather then what I first thought was an interesting Q & A, everyone else has seen it as 'accusations' and 'slandering.' Well all I can say about that is, because you are with the police is why he would assault you because it would be a crime against police, which you are. Also I think he did that for the sake of attacking an officer and that's about it, sadly.
Next statement, Terry...yes a part of me does.........................heh...but I'm sorry, but have you given up on your son, you've given up on being his mother? I can't believe this....that....that....Terry you're....strog....than.....
Rex, ah ha! ah ha! Right right, even your friend had hunch about it. The painting does make sense, Pete's mother goes off and disappears, when he sees her again finally he is going to your home, and staying there a while then leaving, it's a fair guess for anyone. You don't see someone in a while you finally see them again, and they go to someone's house and stay there a while? It's good guess for some, of what is going on in there, although more often then not it isn't what they are thinking.
..........Terry you've already stated enough........you've, you've already, said your words...
next statement, Terry, you didn't laugh, but it seems you approve of his statement, Pete can't find love.
Rex....that makes sense, if Terry doesn't have the heart to, you shouldn't either...My faith has been misplaced.
The next statement, Luna, I'm glad your not with Pete, he deserve a lot better than you. He needs someone a lot stronger than you. If he is going to change at all, he certainly will need a girl that is strong enough to take Pete remarks...because at first I don't think he will show respect to her, and be rude. He needs someone strong enough to take that, and support him...than he'll start to change into the person he really is. She'll surely have to be MUCH stronger than any of you...even stronger than his mother, who is the strongest character out of all of you.
Rex, I think I could be his friend, I've been friends to many kinds, people who are in gangs, friends with Anti-Christ, they all good people, just think differently, I believe I could be his friend.
Next statement, Thank you Toby for stating the obvious!
Lastly DT, Honestly, I wouldn't like Pete at all, if he always won, if he did I would hate him, much like I how I hate William in "Pillars of the Earth" URH! I hated him so MUCH. It's a really good book you should read it sometime. The reason I like Pete is how he stands against everyone and loses, also he is one of the least liked characters in the fan base is another. Just how he tries, and he loses, he tries and loses. Over and over again. Me and Pete are similar in that way. Not like I do the stuff he does. Also his name as well, keenly FTC there a character named Silent Pete.
I don't really want to see Pete win, sorry Pete. Because I like the characters in the story, I don't want to see them lose, expect Toby, so actually knows what being in mud feels like. Also being in the mud, and no one wants to help you, and everyone feels like you deserve it. Toby will never have to face that, ever. Pete can't do that, Toby has so many what help him. Pete 0, if Pete messes up, his gang fellows will leave him for dead. I like the fact Pete is alone in the story, no one likes him, no one wants to like/help him, or they do, but are minimalistic. I like that a lot, how no one likes him, or wants to help really, now that has been 100% confirmed with every character. In some which I shouldn't have asked for the answer now. I know Pete will never win, and that's just a part of Pete, a Walking Disaster. But I really hope he can find love, not the mate title but where he feels it, the 'real' thing. That's why Toby and Luna have drived bombed in my liking greatly, because they see it as a sick joke, I call that wicked.
Some of my points where proven here DT and some where clearly thrown back into my face. Thank you for answering my questions. Some I wish I never learned the answers to *Glances at Terry* I've been concluded and I have no further statements, you may respond if you like, but you most likely won't get an answer back from me.

But Pete knew where to find me, and I had taught him in the past that I was ready to help him any time he needed me. I would have dropped things in a heartbeat if he had asked. Rex: As would I, once I, er, became involved with Terry. I have nothing against Pete, and would certainly be willing to help him if he'd let me. As for choosing sides, I don't take sides based on who's on what side, but on which side is right or in line with the law. If Toby committed a crime, I'd be just as quick to come down on him as I am on Pete when he commits a crime. KrazyArc075-cwp wrote: 3rd. His whole world is himself, and he won't let himself reconcile with anyone who has an outlook outside of himself and his interests. Toby: As for putting it in Pete's face, I never meant to do anything like that. I think he could be a good sled dog if he just had the attitude for it. Terry: I don't thnk it's just his father. He always wanted to be like his father, and looked at him as a larger-than-life hero. Not unlike a certain someone looked at Balto. But unlike you, Toby, he never learned to be content with who he is. He wants to measure up, but he's given up hope. Pete: Quit playing psychoanalist with me. Luna: Besides, a girl for Pete (as he is right now) would have to be missing one thing all girls - really, all dogs - have: the need to be loved. 1st statement, Toby well put, Luna I loath most things you say, you fill me with revulsion. 2nd, Rex, and Terry I doubt it, till I see is it, simple to me. I don't believe that. 3rd, Toby, I believe so, so I will say so. What ever you do has justification so it is, is right, what ever you say or do is right because it's justified to you. Terry and Pete it's a simple my words are said, my belief in her mothering has been said. If Pete was such a bully, shouldn't Loki be saying something, not you. I mean this is for everyone, not just Judge Toby. 4th, DT well put. Toby...thank you for putting you did. Although you didn't mean to, and now to be politically correct, you being a hypocrite, he stated he would be last if he tried. NOW your saying he could. Hypocrite. Terry that's how me and Pete are so similar, he want to but can't measure up. And sometimes give up, I'm somewhat guessing, if had supported Pete in it, maybe he would have. As far as I know you didn't. For me I want to be a great writer, I really do, but my writing is horrible, it how it is, I don't have the talent for it. I write roughly at very least 5 hours a week, and 40 mins of writing a day, and it's still horrible, I read a lot, it's useless! I read books on how to write, but yields no results. What keeps me going is to finally say IN YOUR FACE! To the people who doubted me, and for people to actually see what I've created, and it's done well. I want to be a great, a remembered name in writing, but I know I never will. No matter how hard I try, it doesn't work. Although I'm told, if you keep trying you win, that's not true. Pete and I, understand that Terry. So don't 'psychoanalyst' Pete, because you don't have the power to, I originally thought you could but you can't. But you don't have the heart to. 5th, Toby, I'm saying what I believe simple, Judge Toby. 6th, Terry you don't have the heart to, you've already explained that in black and white, no need to waste your breath. Rex, I know I am fond of short comings because I have a ton of them, for me there easy to see, because I've been through enough. Isn't that your job, seeing others short comings and punishing them? I was going with my faith in Terry that she could break through to Pete, because she is my 2nd favorite character in the story, and female character as a whole, Jenna my first obviously. I didn't know how, I thought she would try talking to him, defend him although he didn't deserve it I guess. I thought she was strong enough to pull through...she apparently.... isn't. 7th, I will repeat myself, I really don't know how, you can criticize me all you want over that. I once believed Terry could do anything she set her mind on, she doesn't have the heart to anymore Rex...It's that simple, I bet everything on her, it didn't turn out to be a good one. 8th, Glad you could understand Pete's view for a change. And Rex "the best intentions always bring out the worst of hell."-one of my favorite quotes^^. 9th, Dragon Tammer, Honestly....honestly, it's a simple yes or no, does she approve of the statement Pete can't find love? It's yes or no, not if Pete changes yes thing. Just a plain simple yes or no, why can't Terry simply answer that? Yes or No? 10th and 11th. Well Boby you're being dimwitted and ignoramus! Strength of living in the wild, that's physical strength, skill strength. Why in world did you think I meant that? Luna the need to be loved? Most things you say about Pete comes from a stereotypical girl, in my mind. The strength I'm talking about is true strength, endurance of harsh, what I'd guess you call mental/will power strength. Pete needs a girl that can at first, can take being seen as a tool for a while. Have a large strength of understanding, and patience for Pete. If a girl is ever going to get close to him will have to go through that, and he will actually start to fall in love, but it is going to take a while. But every girl can't take it and goes off. he he that's funny right Boby? NOO! So I think there is someone out there for Pete, someone who can't take certain views to his mind at first, but slowly and surely Pete will change into, someone I think...very much like his father...a near clone. But it will take time, and a lot blood, sweat, and tears to reach. Some girl will see a male worthy, to go through hell and stay there for such an unbearable amount time, and keep going through all that to reach that hidden male, locked in the bottom in of a practically unending ocean, and near bottomless, filled with only broken memorizes, unchanging hatred, ignorance, and at the bottom of all that, is that locked treasure chest, and then she will be able to finally unlock it, and it will be the true Pete. And it would be worth it to go through all that to reach him! For that somebody....That's what I believe Luna, you could never do that. You can talk all you want how no girl will go through that for mind my words for a piece of trash, as that saying goes 'one man's trash is another man's treasure.' Pete is your trash, and another female will view him as treasure one day. And you, you, both of you, will look like jesters! Dragon Tammer, why I looked at her, she doesn't have the heart to reach Pete, she can't do it...And that really, really makes me forlorn, that why. To me it's like a hero giving up that you admire...it's simply depressing....

To me it's like a hero giving up that you admire...it's simply depressing.... KrazyArc075-cwp, I think you are missing the point of this thread. This is where you ask legitimate questions of the cast, not provoke a flame war -if this is your intentions or not it's not for me to say. All I know is the fact that you need to drop this. If you have a problem with Dragon Tamer's way of writing out his characters, then you should stop reading the stories that they appear in if it irks you so badly. After all, in the long shot, this really isn't worth the fuss and trouble you're kicking up. This is a story. You've already stated clearly that you think that Pete is being slighted. You have said your peace. Now you can go on with your daily activities knowing that you got all this off your chest. Dragon Tamer, If this continues any longer we may find this topic locked, something I don't want happening since I enjoy this thread a lot. If you have some people causing problems or are being antagonistic, don't fight fire with fire. It's dumb, and gets you nowhere. If diplomacy doesn't help, then tell the offender to get lost after a warning. Dragging this on and on will do no good for either party. You may want to pay attention to some of the suggestions of the people who question you of course (Pete could use a little more depth and exploration, in my humble opinion), but that doesn't mean you should tolorate it when people try to provoke you.
