"Well I won't if you'd hurry up and COME ON!" Shane growled, slightly louder.

"I can't." Rochelle said. "Just go before you get in trouble."

"Why not?!" Shane demanded.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Tue Nov 01, 2011 3:57 pm

"CAUSE." Rochelle replied, losing her patience. "Just GO."

"'cause isn't an answer Rochelle." He remarked, looking down at her.

Rochelle perked a bit then huffed. "It is in this sense." she replied, before moving with her back to him.

"You're choosing him over me. Kurt was right. I am just a phase." Shane snapped, before turning and exiting the building, dashing off into the woods.

Rochelle flattened her ears to her head and didn't move.
"I'll..see ya later." Tony said before leaving, exiting out the window they entered from.

Shane ran until his legs wouldn't take him any further. Long ago had he begun crying, but now, all dried up, he just stood, standing at the edge if a cliff, looking off into the distance.

Rochelle had closed the door of the kennel when Shane and Antonio left, now moving to the back corner to block out the world.
Tony walked home, hoping to see Shane on the way, but not surprised when he didn't see hide or hair of him.

Fir nearly a week Shane was as good as missing, none of the pack could find him. He returned on the sixth night, however, gone mainly silent.

Rochelle stayed with the family, acting like the pet they expected her to be. Not even Tony socialized with her in the time she spent in the house.

"Shane..? Is Rochelle still a pet?" Blaine asked his younger brother, their half-brother Charlie looking over at the quiet mutt.
"Yeah..wouldn't be surprised if Radium's already got her Fu-"
"SHANE." Chaz barked, making Shane refrain from cursing.

Landon and Lark visited Rochelle almost every night.
"House pet. It's wierd huh?" Landon asked, Rochelle just shrugged. "It's a new thing for ya. Coulda picked a better home though." he huffed at the thought of Radium.
Rochelle watched out the window. "Never had a choice." she sighed.

"Shane I'm sure she loved you.." Chaz insisted, earning a glare from the younger dog.
"If she did she would have come back."
