"Nice and sunny out," he said quietly, his voice a bit scratched from talking a lot.

She nodded. "I think..we should go visit my mother."

"Your mother? I don't think I've met her before." said Coda and wagged his tail sightly.

Charlotte smiled. "She's going to love you. Come on, her home isn't far," she mused, turning to go out of the door, taking more time to get out because she was a bit bigger then usual.

coda nodded, following her out, and heading to her mother's home.

The walk wouldn't have normally taken long, but Charlotte had to move slowly, so it was about a slow hour so so before they arrived at a large far. Charlotte crawled under the wooden fence, entering the farm fields.

Coda froze when they came at a farm fence, he was a bit nervous to go near a humans house, even if he did like them. But he slowly made his way over and followed.

Charlotte led Coda to a quiet old barn.
"Momma?" she called, walking in confidently. "Are you here?"
A slender collie mix stepped out from one of the stalls, smiling. "Char!" she called and padded over, nuzzling her. "It's been awhile honey."

Coda was just staring at the Collie, tilting his head slightly at her.

The collie perked immediately at Charlotte's weight. She smiled. "Well...pregnant are you?" Charlotte chuckled and the collie looked to Coda. "And you're the father?"

Coda perked up at the Collie and nodded. "Yes."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," she greeted with a smile. "My name is Amelia."

"Coda," he replied and nodded his head slightly.

Amelia smiled and looked back to Charlotte. Her nose twitched. "You're still obsessed with flowers aren't you? I can smell the pollen."

"She is allergic to some of them now," noted Coda.
