Kyler held up two fingers in a "scout's honor" fashion. "I only speak the truth." she confessed. She lowered her hand when she realized her sleeve was slipping, revealing her scar. She tucked her arm away, awkwardly pulling the sleeve down again.

"That's what you think!" Kyler called back as she chased him, remembering when they had played "chip tag" and did the exact same. Suddenly, she got an idea. She made it look like she tripped over a root and landed hard, headfirst. Then she lay still on the ground.
