Kali couldn't help but cough as the black cloud wafted over them. It soon dispersed, but the scent lingered, stinging her nose.

Hopefully... Kali thought doubtfully.

Kali nodded hesitantly. She would be able to digest most anything, really, but that didn't mean she couldn't upchuck it later. It smelled and looked pretty dang rich. Then again, she was starving. Her stomach wasn't growling like Zane's, but it would soon. Decisivelly, she grabbed a plate and started piling food on it, Zane eagerly following.

Kali was soon seated, eating it happily. It wasn't as rich as she had expected, probably thanks to her enhanced digestive system.

Zane was surprised at how flavorful everything was. The strawberries didn't need sugar or anything, and the bread had a sweet, nutty taste.

"Great," Kali grinned, remembering to swallow before she opened her mouth. She immediatly took another bite of bread, though, her smile widening.

Zane sampled the stew. The meat was a bit stringy, but good nonetheless. "What kind of meat is this?" he asked.

Zane let his spoon drop back in his bowl, and swallowed with some difficulty.

"I'm sure Zane would love to know," Kali grinned. "Go ahead and tell us."

Zane couldn't stop his eyes from widening a bit. He was used to eating pig and stuff, or fake meat but...rabbit? "You're kidding, right?" he asked, staring at the chunks of meat floating in his bowl.
