Ben opened his eyes. Cassie was still curled up in a ball, asleep. Then he remembered. He prodded the lynx was a finger. "Cassie!" He whispered somewhat loudly. "Wake up! We still have to find the others!"

Cassie stirred after being poked. She lifted her furry head and glanced at Ben, his face full of desperation to start on the mission. Cassie emitted a huge yawn, feline mouth opening to full extent. Then the shook her pelt, morphed, and stood up. "Well, what are we waiting for?" She asked. "Let's go!"

Dakota watched the ground as she walked down the road. It was hot and her throat was really dry. She swallowed and her throat burned. She had left Erin a while ago and was already regreting that choice. She started to pant when she saw a large bush that offered her some shade. She wobbled over to the bush and lay down with a thug, making dust rise in the air. She yawned and rested her head on her paws. Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep in the middle of no where.

Cody finally got up and escaped the vehicle. He traced Dakota's scent and found her partially dehydrated. He smiled, seeing that she was okay, and went to look for some water for her. He found a small pond near Dakota and went back to where Dakota was. He lowered his head down and said "I am sorry, Dakota. It was my job and they came before I could do anything. I was about to tell everyone because I didn't want anyone to get hurt when we returned to that house but when we came back, they were there and that's why I cationed Erin to be careful when she heard them. I am so sorry. If I could do anything to turn back time and change what I have done, I would do it without even thinking it over."

And so, they set off. Cassie was in front, looking back every now and again to be sure Ben was following. "Ok!" She said as she reached the spot where they had discovered the others where missing. "Now I guess we follow the road from here. Let's hope they haven't gotten too far..."

Ben nodded in agreement. "Alright, then. Let's go."

Dakota opened her eyes when she heard someone approaching her. She blinked her eyes a couple of times then relized it was Cody. She snarled and stood up. "Get out!" she hissed at him. "I never want to see your face again!" she snarled at him. Her fur stood on end and a growl was forming in her throat. She glared at him and bared her teeth and made her sharp claws visible. Noticing that he wasn't going to move, she lunged at him and bit his ear, ripping off a piece of it. "Leave!" she shouted again. "And don't come back."

Erin ran off, not waiting to see if they were following. She slowed as she saw Ben and Cassie. Morphing back she yelled out. "Hey guys! Come on! Lets find the others!"

Lava jumped off the truk and started to run, and she swore she was flying she ran so fast. she heard a sound of a gun click behind her. she darted into a bush and morphed, she didn't know what to do. call the others for help, and risk getting them in danger, too? or escaping by herself? she morphed back into a cat and ran up a tree. she saw a squirrle and cought it. she flung it down at the person with the gun. she heard the person scream, "EW!" and she chuckled.

She heard the yell and slowed, whirling around. She spotted Lava in a tree, laughing, and a guy with a gun dancing around, yelling his head of about a squrrel on his face. Sh laughed to.

Lava saw Erin, and she smiled. she might be cold, and solitary, but she didn't want to be alone, not at the moment. she hoped out of the tree an walked toward Erin, who was with Shay and Zane.

Lava noded in hello to Erin, she still wasn't the type to smile or talk alot, but she dicided to say something. "i can't believe that guy was scarred of a dead squirrle, when he wanted to kill me anyways....." she let her voice trail off.

Cody lowered his head in defeat and said "I was going to tell everyone about me when we came back to the house but they were already there, waiting for us. If I could do anything to change what I did I would do it, Dakota. So, judge me how you want to and do whatever you want to me. I can only say that I am sorry. It's you who chooses now. To accept my apology or to kill me. I don't care what you do Dakota. I just don't want you to be mad at me anymore." Cody walked closer to Dakota and nuzzled her, showing his affection towards her. Cody stepped back and stared at Dakota.

Tsarina jumped down on the ground and walked in human pace. she kicked some leafs and rocks while walking. not really sure what to do she put her hands in her pockets and looked down.
