Glameow had just frozen up in fear. She was terrified of Zubat, her mother locked her in a ceiler with them when she was younger as punishment for not doing well in acting.
"Something is wrong." said Martha. "She looks scared out of her mind."

Cody grabbed Glameow and shook her and made her look into his eyes and said "Focus. Focus, Glameow. Snap out of it. We need you. Don't let your friends get hurt." Cody then used ember and made a couple of Zubat K.O. and the rest that were charging at Glameow and Cody run away. But they grouped up again with the rest of the Zubat.

Glameow nodded. "Sorry...I've just got a fear of these things..." she said. She used Fury Swipes on several more.
Martha used Razor Leaf on the Zubat, knocking several of them out cold.

Cody finished the rest off with a wide ember. Cody then asked Glameow very caringly "What happened back there? What you did was very dangerous and I need to know why you just froze. Please tell us, Glameow."

Glameow looked down ashamed. "My...my mom...whenever I didn't do 'well enough' in acting practice, she'd lock me in a ceiler with a flock of Zubat for hours." she said, tears in her eyes at the painful memory. "I've been petrafied of them ever since."

Cody hugged Glameow and said "I am sorry. I didn't know that. That must have been awful but I am proud of you. You conquered your fear to help your friends." Cody then grabbed Martha and brought her over to hug him and Glameow.

Glameow purred. "Thank you." she said. "My psyche is kinda bent but nothing my mom or ex-team could do broke it." she said. "And it can be fixed of course."
