Cody said "And luckily you don't have to find out. Thanks for never giving up on me. I am my old self again because of you. You helped me through a impossible moment in my life." Cody then came as close as possible to Shay and wrapped his arms around her.

Cody fell asleep peacefully as he held Shay while she placed her head on his chest. It was so peaceful that night. Their were no storms or anything else like that.

Cody woke up 10 minutes after Shay did and asked "What is wrong, Shay? Did I do something wrong again? If I did, I am so sorry." Cody still isn't completely over last night's situation. Cody then stood up and went to the bathroom. He got Shay some more crackers and brought them back to her. He then handed the crackers to Shay and said " Here are some crackers for you. I love you, Shay. I love you so much."

Cody kissed Shay back and then said "I love you more." Then he kissed her again. He then got on the bed on top of Shay.

Cody got off of Shay as soon as he felt what she felt and trembled very valiantly and didn't stop. His shaking shook their bed.

Cody sighed and said after he got himself under control "It is not you. It is just the shock of parenthood. It is effecting me so. I am sorry if I scared you Shay. You don't need to be afraid of your mate. It tares me up to see how scared you are of me." Cody then started to cry because he felt like he was a bad person.

Cody calmed down as Shay hugged him and he said "The only reason. The only reason why I would turn into the beast that is inside of me is to protect you and our baby. The only reason. You do not need to be afraid of anything that is to deal with me, anything Shay. I would never hurt you, never. I would kill myself before I would even think of hurting you, Shay." Cody then held Shay in his arms lovingly and said "If you want me to go away then I will, Shay. You already said I was a beast. I think I will go away and never return." Cody then let go of Shay and started to open their bedroom door.
