Like breezes and air,
I felt like no one was really there.
There for me, day and night,
there for me, to help do whats right.
I felt alone, almost scared
that I was unprepared.

Now I have a friend,
someone with a hand to lend.
I never realized what it meant,
to have someone like you in my life.

You guide, you smile,
You make most things worthwhile.

While everyone makes mistakes,
Your's seem to fade away.
In comparison to the light you shed,
on the darkness that could be the end.

You are my light, my lead
You help me believe.

You mean more to me than you know,
I hope you never go.

Gentle Flame,
Who knows no hate,
Cradle,

In gentle arms,
And soothing waves,
O’ so pure,
O’ so gentle,
As you grow,
You thrive off of hate,
Burn,

You roaring flame,

Off your hate,
What happen to this gentle flame?
Who was once tiny?
One so pure; full of love,
Now a destroyer full of hate,
Tearing down city frames,
Burn… Burn… City Burn… Burn..,
Watch it burn in smoldering flames,
Crumble,

Watch it fall,
Roaring is desperate attempts,
O’ might flame,
You have burned,

And now you wither,
Now you die.

Gypsey- I'm not sure, you mentioned you're only nine? I think it's a bit dark for kids under twelve, I'm not gonna lie.

Thanks Wolf Paws, a lot of people say that. I would do that but I am a terrible singer and lazy. Its my "poetic" month. =D

Hmm........ I watch law and order plus violent things. I just had a birthday, and I'm nine now. Those things don't really scare me or give me nightmares. You wouldn't believe the things I've seen.

I liked the 2nd one the best, Skillfire. My opinion, anyways. ^^

Here's something random-

No one believes,
no one sees.
The world is lost in the dark.
Hope is lost,
no light shines.
In this city, once divine.

Shadows crawl,
but I'll stand tall, through it all.

United as one,
The bringers of the sun,
into this world of darkness.
Brought to life,
hope sparks a new beginning.

Let people believe,
let people see,
We can make a difference in this world.
Hope for a brighter tomorrow,
let there be no more sorrow.

We can change the world

Here's a quick freestyle rap I came up with in, like, 5 seconds ^_^

but you know you should be
most definitely.
I'm survivin' the apocolypse,
you hear what's comin' from my lips?

'less you wanna be struck down.

You call me a freak,
But what am I really?
In you’re eyes I am nothing but useless scraps,
In the eyes others I am something new,
Some pure and innocent,
But what does it matter to you?
I am who I am,
Who I chose to be,
Not a simple toy that you can throw away,
I am me,
Something different and unique,
I am who I was born to be.
And nothing less.

Great poems you guys^^ But I still miss all the poets from awhile who used to put poems up, im one of the only small few who remain, anyway I highly recommend going threw some of the pages to read there poems from long ago, if your gonna find magic it will be in pages from years ago^^

I know this not a poem but its just a reminder of the greatest poets this place was honored to have^^ Most are gone from here but never forgotten, tribute poem to them coming soon^^
