Jamie was sitting on a hill next to Mike looking over the pack they made, " It's beautiful. Huh Mike?" She smiled and nuzzled him as one of the elders came up to them. It was the runt, Helga, " Yes Helga. What is it?"

"Which mountain?"
"The one by the lake. Max says he found something gold buried in the soil."
Mike's ears went up in alarm.
"Something gold? do you know how big it is? what it it!?"

"I know what it is!" She said and dashed out of the den and went to the lake. She dove underneath the water and cleaned it off. She then got out and howled for Mike to come to the lake.

Mike ran to her with his daughter in tow.
"Jamie, why don't you ever talk things through. You always run off before I get a chance to say anything. I remember the plate, too."
He then turned to Helga, who was staring awkwardly at her parents.
"What does a plate have to do with what Max found?"
"What Max found might be another plate, Helga. Can your mother and I tag along to see what it is?"
((Note: You can be the pups, too. They can be shared characters.))

Kodi heard and said, "It's ok if you come with us Dad." He smiled.
Max walked up tail wagging and barking, " Come on! Come see come see!" He said and dashed off hoping his parents would follow.
"Well, he seems to do better than me," She laughed, "now, lets follow!" She said and Mike, Jamie, and Helga ran to where it was.

Max led them to the half buried gold plate.
"I found it yesterday. Tried a ton to get it loose, but it won't even budge a bit."
Mike sniffed and pawed at the plate, uncovering it a bit more.
"Jamie, can you read it?"

"I think it says, " The night the wolves survived from,....." I can't really make out the rest of it. It's to dirty." She tried to clean it more and uncovered the rest saying, "......Horror." Well. It's the same as what we found before Mike." She said pulling him away from the others.

"Hm. We'll have to give it some thought I guess. I can't figure it out Mike. It's the same plate thingy that we found two years ago, but, it still says the same thing and we have got to figure out what it means." She said then turned to the kids, "Ok. Enough adventure for once. Lets go back with the pack ok?" She said.
"Ok mom." Kodi said and ran back to the pack.
Max went back also with Helga following.
She turned to Mike, " They grew up so fast." She smiled and nuzzled him. "C'mon mom! C'mon Dad!"She heard Helga and the kids yell, "Coming guys!"

"Jamie, do you think maybe we could pull one of these plates up? Maybe there is more writing on the back."
