Aleu smiled softly and lay down beside him. "Nah, I could never forget you lot! C'mon, you're friends! You're family! You're... home..." A small, almost unnoticible crack slipped into her voice at teh last word. What was she doing trying to lead a pack? She didn't belong there! She belonged here... with her family... "And don't worry about it. It was payback for me running out on you guys, right?" She managed a shaky smile, trying to hide the guilt.

Lucy looked at her paws, wishing she could be like normal pups. Witha mother and a father and, most of all, that her brother coudl relax and enjoy life liek dogs his age should. She suddenly felt bad for yelling at him and sighed heavily, flattening one ear. But she was just a small pup. A small pup he never listened to. What on earth could she do to help? Absolutly nothing.

Shiloh smiled and pressed his nose tot eh doorbell. It went off and he leapt off of hte railing then hid behind a trash can. "This is it," he whispered, "Look cute and be friendly!" A woman opened the door and looked at Jess for a long moment before glancing around the street, looking for someone else to come. She then muttered something about teenagers and shut the door. Shi creapt out and padded to Jess. "She could ahve been nicer," he scoffed, trying to keep Jess hopeful. "Maybe she was cranky..."

Maple smiles slightly as she sees Luke int he cage. She walks over to him as he bangs his head but sits about 2 metres away from the cage watching him very carefully. She laughs an he rabbles on and smiles 'I'm fine, nothing has happened since you have been in here, my owners came back then went away again and yeah i missed you a little bit. Question is, how are you? you feeling any better?' She yawned and shook one of her paws that had been injured early int he week. She put it down again gently then looked around 'you know i hate these places especially the cages, my owners had me in one when i was little'

She stood up again then trotted over to the window before looking out, the weather was getting better at least, soon the sun would be out at all times of hte day. Maple then turned and looked back at Luke 'Know when your getting out?' She trotted over to him and stood right next to the cage before licking his cheek 'Tell you what, ill come back tomorrow' She smiled then walked off leaving the vets, she looked back at Luke just as she left trough the door.

Once outside she shook her fur and sighed, she was confused about how she felt around Luke and to be honest didn't want to feel that way at the moment. She shook her head, now was a time for family. She decided she would visit Saba and Aleu and spend some time with them. She nodded in agreement to herself and trotted off towards Saba's.

Luke blushed as Maple licked him, he was so blinded by love he'd totally missed the "I'll come back tomorrow" comment made by Maple, so he replied: "I'm fi-" He said, before being stopped as Maple walked out, he sighed at the fact she had barely spent five minutes there, and she'd already left. "I guess I might as well rot" He mumbled, lying down, slightly upset. Before he picked up the scent of another female, one he remembers all to well, Lola.

"Hey Lukey-kins!" She said happily, trying to lick him, giggling in that s.l.u.t.t.y type of way. "Do you want me to look after you when your better?" She asked, "Would you like to stay with me and my sister. Lisa?"

Luke growled at her now, and moved away from the cage door. "No, why are you here?" He asked, demanding an answer, although his voice is still weak. "You know your not welcome around me!"

Then walking through the door, is Lisa, Lola's sister.

Lisa trotted over to her sister and sat down before looking at Luke and smiling. 'Well Luke, how are you babe? You should come stay with me and Lola, we would take very good care of you, i you know what i mean' She winked and walked over to his cage before laying down in front of it 'Ain't nobody going to come near you baby' She smiled at him then started to groom her fur before looking back a Lola 'Why you in here?'

Swift was on his way back into town, he had time to think and thought Luke did deserve a chance, he walked to the last place he knew Luke could be, The beach.

Maple had detoured past Saba's house and decided to go back home, as she walked home she spotted a black and white wolf who looked very similar. She walked past him and couldnt help but stare 'Oh my god' She thought to herself, he definitely was a good looking wolf. She trotted quickly home and went inside before laying down int eh kitchen, thinking.

"Well, I won't leave you guys hanging again, all rihgt?" Aleu's tongue rasped around his ear then she pulled back, a blush creeping to her cheeks. Was she asking for him to run off again?That was what would happen! She was lucky he was speaking to her! Why was she trying to be more? Wait... Was she trying to be more? Well... yes. Maybe she was.

Lucy blinked gratefully. "Yes, please. Thank you, Saba." She trotted to the wolfdog, honestly grateful to have a place to go that wasn't home. "I appreciate it. A lot." Nate didn't udnerstand. If he didn't want her home, Lucy wouldn't go home. MAybe she'd make her own home! She could be a stray!

Shiloh sighed and padded to ehr slowly. "It's just one house.... MAybe... Maybe they hjust aren't the family destined for you... You can't give up on dreams, Jess. Cause dreams won't give up on you."
