Maple woke up and looked at him before pulling away and sitting up with a stretch of her paws. She looked at him before jumping down off the boxes and heading back towards the house... Slowly. She waited until he caught up then looked to her right at him, studying him, before shaking her head and heading off at a quicker pace. She wasn't really in the mood to talk, she preferred to leave it then talk later. This had landed her in many problems before. She entered the house and instead of going under the stairs she jumped up onto the sofa and laid down with her head on her paws, she closed her eyes again and pretended to sleep. Silence and tension filled the room.

Lisa had seen Luke and Maple, and could instantly tell that Maple was not happy. She fluffed up her fur with a psychotic grin and headed towards the house. Once there she went inside and trotted over to Luke and jumped up at him 'Well hello there' She looked to Maple who gave her a look that basically said go for it, i don't care. Lisa grinned ecstatically and jumped at him licking, nuzzling and pawing at him.

Luke growled and literally smacked her around the face, hard as you like, digging his claws right into her cheeks, tearing the skin within. "I said! LEAVE ME ALONE!" He yelled firmly. he growled and snapped at her neck, before kicking her away. "Cant you see we're in a distressed mood! Now how about you leave me alone, and go flirt with some other male!" He growled loudly and pushed her away. "Go on! Get out!" He yelled. He turned his back to her, and walked away, furious, before walking passed Maple and looking at her, with slight plead to forgive him, in his eye. Beofre he turned away, and walked out of the house, out of town.

He stormed away from the town, sick of it, he'd just practicly lost his best friend, he'd already started to of been stalked by town s.l.u.t.s, and yet, he still felt bad about saying what he'd said, but it was true, Maple was an out-cast, and she was a very very VERY pretty one too she just didn't understand that secretly, he had a very hard crush on her, and sometimes, he thought she had one on him... Never the less, by her attitude, she never wanted him, even as a friend, in the first place, so he might aswel just leave, and move onto the next town, and hope he can find friends there, something he's never been able to do.

He looked back at Nome, and whined slightly. "Goodbye..." He whispered, and turned away, for what he thought, the last time. He took a deep breath, and slowly walked away, not having a clue where to go, once again, he'd left a town, with noone in support, once again, his life had become a misery, but then hope remained... He lifted his head, and turned around, looking back at Nome. He closed his eyes, and sprinted back into town, at full pace, he ran down Main St. into Maple's road, yelling "Maple! I lo-", he got instantly cut out when he ran directly into a female dog, sending him right infront of a car, himself, being hit, and flung infront of Maple's door, a loud bang followed, as his body smashed into the door, and Luke, remained still....

Aleu nodded. "Yeah, good idea, thanks. I'm gonna go find Jake... I think I'll apologize, again." She looked after her sister for a moment, glad to be back, then galloped through teh streets. what was worng with Maple and Swift? they'd never foguht! Never! Her two siblings were as close as can be, as close as her and Saba! She turned a corner, trying to follow his scent but it was faint, hard to follow. "Jake! Jake, will you please come back here? I'm sorry and I just want to talk! Jake? Jake!" Her paws thrundered on the ground as she pricked her ears, looking for her friend. However, she stopped at the sound of a trash can being knocked over. "Jake?" Slowly, a small but grown pit bull crawled out from the trash can and snarled. "Uh-oh..." It leapt towards her and she darted to the side. She coudl avoice it for a while but she needed help. and fast! "Jake? Saba? Help!" she yelped as she had to roll out of hte way once more.

Shiloh smiled and nodded. "Yeah, right. Also, if there are diapers or baby bonnets, we know they have a small child. If there are old teddy bears, etc, they have a child a little older, etc etc." He lifted a paw to teh edge of a trash bin and pulled it down. With a loud thud, the can landed on its side on teh snowy ground. He lifted his gaze to her face and smiled mischeviously before digging through the trash. "Hmm, let's see here. We've got an old broken photo frame, an old dog collar, and a raggedy leash, along with some lasagna. "Huh... Looks liek they're dog people." He grinned. "they might take another one!"

Lucy was about ot go out the doggy door but hesitated at the sound of the trash can outside her house being knocked over. Her ears pricked and she let out a low growl, leaping onto teh couch and peering ourside. It was just hte local stray, Jessica, and some wolf she'd never seen before. Teh young dog looked over her shoulder as she heard nails scraping against the wooden floor. Nathan roudned the corner and started towards her. "What do you want?" she asked sahrply, irritated. He looked taken aback and then started a lecture about how she needed to treat him with respect since he was her brother and her only living relative. Teh lecture went on and on and she flattened her ears to her head.
"Okay, I get it, I fail at everythign and I'm a terrible little sister but you don't need to go on and on about how I'm going to ruin my life and become some- some tyrant in some town with some wild pack of wolves!" She snapped her jaws furiosly and backtracked towards the doggy door. "That's not me, Nate, that's you! You and your father!" She turend and leapt out the doggy door, pelting through teh snow and through the steet, away form her house. She couldn't hear her brother following her or even calling her, and assumed that her words, though cruel, had worked.
Hot tears blinded her, though they didn't fall. She never, never let tears fall. That was a weakness the young, powerful, and stubborn she-dog would never show in a million years. Her legs were beginning to hurt from the sudden speed but she could, wouldn't stop. Not until she was 100,000 miles away from her brother with forests and towns between them. A sogn she had heard her owners singing once rang in her head.

She thought bitterly about how much it sounded like NAte talking down to her liek he had today. Lucy felt like she'd burst fomr the pain of his disapointment that was pressing down on her, making it hard to breathe. And he had made her numb. Well, her heart numb. She didn't thinkhe even knew who she was anymore! He just saw a troublemaking pup that didn't want to listen to him.
She then saw somethign that made her heart stop and her eyes widen. She presed her paws down in front of her and skidded to a stop. Her eyes widened as a car hit a white dog full force. He flew into Maple's door and seemed to go unconsious. "Saba!" she yelled, recongizing her friend. Quickly, Lucy bounded to the other side of the street. "What happened here?" she leanedover his, panting, her heart beating fiercly.

Maple jumped up as she heard the shout then the loud crash. She jumped off the sofa and looked around, Luke wasnt here. 'Maybe he went off with Lisa or something' She said to herself, she shrugged and went to the door. She pushed at the dog door but it wouldn't budge, she stepped back a little confused before running full belt at it an smacking her shoulder into it, once again no movement. She turned and walked off going upstairs then umping out of a window and onto the porch roof before going down into the garden. She saw Saba and trotted up to her. 'Hey Saba, whats happ...' She saw Saba looked hysterical and followed her gaze towards her house. There she saw the blood on the door and saw a black and white dog covered in blood.

At first it didn't quite register who it was, so she very warily and slowly walked towards the dog. She climbed up the stairs and looked at the dog. She lifted a paw and puled the dog onto its back. With that she leapt up in fright. 'LUKE?! Oh my god!!' She stared at him with a face that showed an unfathomable range of emotions. She stepped back silently and shakily before snapping back to her senses and looking at Saba. 'WE NEED HELP!' She looked around quickly before darting off into town.


Swift had seen the whole thing. He sat in silence quite amazed at how he felt, He got up and trotted off, knowing exactly where to go. He went straight into town and howled for the vet. He just hoped the vet would get to Luke. He wouldn't say anything to anyone of how he was helping. Once he knew the vet was on his way to Luke, Swift stalked off into the forest and into the darkness.

"Oh my god..." This female dog said, looking at Luke. "Excuse me miss, i'm sorry to say... He got hit by a car... And it's my fault, We bumped into eachother because I wasn't looking, and he went into a car... And hit your door." She said, she sighed deeply "Are... Are you his mate?" She aske, looking at Maple as she actually wanted her to be it, which is rare for a female... Although, Lola, had something else on her mind... Something simlar to what Lisa, would do, or... Attempt to do anyway, and that thing was: Steal Luke!

The vet rushed immediately to where he thought ht was susposed to go, he ran to Maple's house, and saw him lying there. "Oh poor thing..." He whispered, as he attempted to pick him up "Bloody hell, heavy or what." He scratched his head for a moment. "Stay there i'll be back in a minute" He said running back to the vets, getting someone else, and taking them to see Luke. "Help me lift him onto the stretcher." He said, picking Luke up with his partner, and placing him on the stretcher, then they ran with him to the vets, going as quickly as possible.

Lola smiled as he saw Luke being taken away. "So... You never answered my question... Is a pathetic outcast like you, his mate... Or wouldn't he mate with such an ugly, little, old rat-bag of an outcast..." She grinned evily, and stood infront of Maple. "You both match you know... Your both... Red..." She laughed and hit Maple with her tail, before running off after the stretcher. "Oh Out-cast!" She yelled. "Let's just say you did this to him." She turned around giggling, and pelted full-charge at the stretcher, forc ing it to break in half, and for Luke to fall out, and land face-first into the ground, his head smacking hard against the brick.

"Crap!" The doctor yelled. "Bad dog! Shoo!" He shooed Lola away, whom happily padded away, in a s.l.u.t.t.y sort of way, constantly reminding you of Lisa, could they be related? Or did they share opinions... Either way, there was a more important thing going on, after Luke's stretcher had broke, he'd fallen on the floor, and hit his head hard, and now, they had no way of getting him to the vets, without damaging his body any more "Oh God what are we going to do?" The vet asked, sitting down, he put his hand over Luke's head, and patted him. "Poor Boy... Poor.... Poor.... Boy...." He sighed, and put his hands over his face, looking very depressed, this could be... Luke's final breath.

Maple looked at the female and studied her before shaking her head and looking at Luke 'Maybe, why? who are you? You look a bit desperate to be honest, just come from a breeding farm?' She shook her head then turned her attention back to Luke and whined very very quietly. She nudged him then quickly backed away when the vet came. She stood by Saba and had her ears held back, she looked up at her sister who was ever so slightly taller 'Think he will be ok?'


Lisa had seen everything and was giggling quite hysterically, she saw the new female and thought she looked very familiar. She started to think, where had she seen this female before in the forest? on trips to the other towns? 'hmmm' she thought 'i wonder' She shrugged and got up before following the stretcher.

Maple growled at the new female and snapped at her tail. She then watched as she ran at the stretcher and snapped it. 'God! you must be some weight to do that, ate one to many bags of kibble?' She waited until she has walked off before dashing over to Luke and nudging him. She whined as she listened to the vet, then turned to luke and laid in front of him and licked his muzzle before nuzzling him, which surprise her. 'Luke, if you can hear me... just stay strong. Please.. don't go' She whispered as she started to cry slightly 'Please, i know you probably cant hear me but.. Just... don't leave me, i don't want to be alone anymore... your like my best friend, maybe even more. i just don't want you to go' She sat up looking down at him then at the vet with a pleading look.

Lisa walked up to the new female. 'Hey, you look familiar, whats your name?' She studied the female for a while as they walked, then it hit her. She gasped and jumped in front of the female 'Is that you... Lola?' She shook her head then looked around


Swift sat in the forest on his own, he looked down at the water and growled. 'What have i become? why have i become like this!' He got up and walked into a small den, as he laid down he completely ignored everything around him, he would return to Nome when he thought the time was right. Obviously this was not the right time, considering he had threatened Luke, threatened Maple and almost killed her. He sighed then closed his eyes before falling into a deep sleep.

Ooc:// Lola, strong? Pfft. Luke's weight was damaging the stretcher, the slghtest little touch could of broke it... Even Tilley could!

"Hey sis, long time no see aye?" She chuckled, she licked her sister and walked along the beach with her. "So have you seen that new wolf, the black and white one, I fancy having him for Breakfast, that Swift guy for Lunch... Oh, and that handsom chap... Erm... The grey one... Earl! Yeah, he's for dinner, three boys... One girl." She giggled. "Unless you want Luke for Breakfast, I don't mind having him for Lunch." She giggled slightly, and sat down. "You do have to laugh at the drma thts un-folding in the town, currently."

Luke heard everything she'd said, but what could he possibly do, he smled slightly as she said "Your my best freind, or even more!", he opened his eye slightly, and looked at her. "Maple." he whispered, "My beautiful Maple... Oh my sweet, caring, Beautiful Maple." His heart started beating at a rather unusal pace. "Maple... I doubt very much i'm going to live... And if I don't, just remember that... just remember...." he took a deep breath, and his voise got softer, and quieter. "I love you Maple" He whispered, before his body shutting down, and he was going into a coma, with thoes final word's, whistling in the air... Only time would tell if he lived, or died. And would he? Well that would be up to the vets to save him, otherwise, it's mission impossible... At this rate, this was the end... And an annoying end to Wolfcall's roleplay aswel, so it cant stop! But will it?

Ooc:// Major writer's block! I'm sorry! It's that time of a morning, anyway... Can I cheat by skipping it another week, trying not to give any clues?

Lucy paded to Saba and pricked her ears, eyes wide. she took a deep breath and closed her eyes then let it out slowly and looked up at Saba, her eyes burning fiercly. "You couldn't have done anyhting. Saba. It wasn't your fault. It really, really wasn't. And... he'll be okay." Her voice cracked. For her age, Lucy had already seen a lot of death and she wasn't honestly sure if Luke would live or not.

Aleu gasped and stood beside Jake so he could lean on her if necessary. "I'm here, come on." Her voice came out breathlessly and her heart was pounding wildly. Now she thought about it, if anyone could ahve saved her, she was glad it was Jake, not someone else. "Are you allright?" she whispered as she started helping him walk away. "Thank you. you saved my life." She nuzzled him quickly and then looked up at him, eyes wide with worry. "Oh my gosh Jake, you were amazing." She felt some sort of dull shock that he had risked his life to save hers. Yeah, they had been friends but after their fight. "Look, I'm sorry. I never meant to leave you. And I won't. Not again."
She glanced down as she realized the weight of her words and that she could'nt promise that. But.. Alue looked back up at him. Maybe she could. Maybe she could stay at home with her family and everyone she loved. And... maybe the wonderdog she had been searching for had been right here at home the whole time. Maybe she was looking at him right at this second. Maybe he'd always been there and maybe he'd just saved her life.

Shiloh laughed. "Whoops!" He trotted beside her and looked around. "IT's a nice neighboorhood, you're right." He felt a longing to promise her that he'd get her a home here but he knew he couldn't do that. "all right." He smiled at his new nickname. "Hmm, how about this one." He padded to a house with a large fenced area that had two stories. "Let's see who lives here." He tipped over the trash can and smiled. Old diapers, wash rags, and an old baby toy fell out. "Do you like kids?" he asked playfully, glancing up.

Lisa woke up with a stretch and a slight growl. She hated mornings, they were annoying and her owners were always grumpy. She shrugged and walked over to the window which was opposite the vets. She grinned evilly as she saw Maple laying outside, virtually invisible thanks to the snow storm that occurred last night. She yawned loudly again then turned to Lola. 'Hey! get up!' She jumped down and pounced on her. Once she was sure she was awake, she jumped back and sat down before grooming her fur. 'So its been a week since Luke's little accident. how do you think he is? i think you should go see him, i can distract Maple, easily' She laughed like a witch before waiting for Lola's answer. She walked into the kitchen and hungrily wolfed down two bowls of kibble. For a female she was pretty fat. After that she went back up to the window and saw Maple was just waking up.

Maple woke up with a fright, she shuddered. She kept seeing Luke's body all bloody and mangled. She sat up and shook her coat which made a mini snow fall around her, she watched with a blank expression. More than anything she loved snow, it was her favourite thing about Nome, she smiled and nudged some of the snow flakes. For the first time in a week she felt a little cheerier, she yawned then stood up before letting the rest of the snow fall from her burgundy coat. She wiped her eyes before standing on her hind legs and looking in the window, she couldnt see anything as of yet so sat back down. She was really worried about Luke and had been very quiet, luckily and to the relief of her Swift hadn't been to town in a week, surprisingly she was worried about him , yet still angry. She sighed then went off to find some breakfast. Once she had consumed some food that lessened her appetite, she quickly went back to the vets and found the door was open, she warily went inside and sniffed about looking for any traces of Luke. She hated the smell of a vets it brought horrible memories to her, the smell wound its way around her. Clean. Disinfectant. Death. She shook with her ears held back before creeping forwards and looking around.

"Don't worry Saba," whispered Lucy quietly. "He'll pull through... I'm sure. He looks like a tough dog..." She stared into teh street, her stomach feeling queasy at teh sight of the blood staining the street. She shook her fur and looked at her small paws, unable to say anything else. Maybe he'd make it, maybe he wouldn't. She pressed her fur to Saba's, knowing closness could comfort an upset dog.

Aleu nodded. "Y-yeah, of course. Come on." She slowly lead him to an old shack at the edge of town that she'd seen before. "Here." She padded away and tugged an old blanket from a shelf and laid it in front of him. "Lay down, okay?"

Shiloh nodded. "I know what you mean." He leapt ontot eh cement railing by the stairs and put his nose about an inch from the door bell, glancing at Jess. "Do you want to try? Better to have tried then walked away...."
