"Jake!" Aleu took a step forward, staring after him, hurt. Seh ahd never meant to leave. And about his comment of somethign better... Did she find somethign better? Somehow she doubted it. She'd thought she'd had but maybe this was her home.... But,seeing JAke's reaction, maybe she belonged out there, in the wild. Pinning her ears to teh top of her head, Aleu slowly turned back towards her sister and began to pad forward slowly. Whre did she bleong? Who was she really? Had she been lying to herself again?

Nate smiled. "Thanks, Saba, you're right. I'll try but I'm jsut so afraid soemthign will happen and I won't be there to help her...." He sighed. "But you are right. I have to give her space. I've gotta go find Retro, one of the dogs on my team, and ask him about our run. Talk to you soon adn thanks." He smiled at her and trotted to the shed for homeless sled dogs.

Shiloh nodded. "Yeah, you're right. I know that I'm lucky in that way and I want tot help you if you'll let me." He flicked an ear, hoping she'd agree. He knew how bad he felt wiht a home so imagining how she must feel made him shudder.

Aleu nuzzled Saba warmly. "Thanks, sis. You always know waht to say. You're right I guess but I can't help but feel a little.. a LOT guilty." She thens tepped backa dn nodded. "Okay, I'll aask Jess later. So, now I'm back, do you want to hang out or something?"

"Well..." Shiloh hesitated, not sure who he should tell but Jess seemed like an amazing wolfdog. "I'm not supposed to tell, so don't repeat this. She's supposed to be looking for a mate here but I think, and htis is the part I don't want you telling her, that she REALLY missed this place, like even more than she's saying. I've seen teh way she looks at families or towns we pass. I think..." He flicked an ear and sighed. "I think there's a possibility of her staying. I've no clue what'll happen to the pack after that."

"Well, sure I guess," Saba said. "But aren't you here for a reason? Like busness or something. Shouldn't you be off doing whatever it is you're supposed to be doing?"

"Can she really do that?" Jess asked. "I mean, the alpha dog just can't abandoned her pack like that, right?" She looked at the ground. "Would someone else take it over? Would you?"

Ooc:// Thanks, bur speaking of all of us, what happened to blueeyed and Conay. They kinda just disappeared.

"Uh, yeah, my buisness." Aleu looekd down. "Saba, I'm gonna tell you why I'm here but it's kinda... I don't want Dad or Mom finidng out, they'll flip out." She leaned forward and whispered, "I ahve to have a mate to be alpha. Those wolves are sexist. Most of htem anyway."

Shiloh smiled. "No, I doubt I would, they don't trust me enough. Aleu will apoint the wolf she thinks could do it and she has to decide for hte good of hte pack. Even if she appointed me, they might not take me."

Ooc:// Yeah, I'll PM them.

"Oh, Aleu, that's terrible," Saba said. "I mean, maybe you'll find the one you're supposed to be with, but who says that a female can't lead a wolf pack." She huffed, angry that somone was being at all unkind to her little sister. "And what if you come back mateless? They can't just kick you out of your own pack."

"Well, they should take you as their alpha," Jess said. "You're a wonderfull dog and I'm sure you'd make a wonderful leader. I hate prejudice."

Occ:// Okay. We really need to get them back in here.

"Thery can mutany, it's what they did to Niju, the wolf who wanted ot be leader. I mean, he wasn't really leader but a group ofhtem listened to him. Then they just quit, joined Nava's group again, and left." Aleu sighed. "Anyway, I suppose you're right. Can you help me out? We can hang out and get the job done at once."

Shiloh smiled. "I'm glad you believe in me, and I know Aleu does but they don't. I hate predjudice as much as you do." He shrugged. "But I guess Ic an't do mucha bout my pack so... you wanna start going human shopping?"
