Bic:// Maple looks to her moms stomach before looking down into the garden. 'so you feeling ok?' She stumbles for words feeling the situation getting awkward. She never really got on with her parents very well and prefered to do her own thing with her own friends. She looks at Luke who seemed to get on with her mom. 'Hmmm maybe Aleu will like that ' She thinks to herself before a small growl erupts from he throat. She covers it up by coughing 'Sorry about that, i think im getting a cold.' She jumps off the porch and into the garden'

Swift smiles as he watches Lucy run off. He shakes his head with a chuckle before trotting off himself down to the beach and sitting in the shade of a boat. He starts thinking to himself wondering how long he will be in town and where he could stay. He definetly didn't want to stay at Maple's considering Luke would be there but ont he other hand he had an urge too. He didnt feel comfortable with leaving his siser alone with a strange male she had only just met! he sighs and looks around before spoting the boiler room. 'Perfect! warmth and shelter' He jumps up and darts off towards hte boiler room.

color=#00BF00]Avalanch crept twords Balto slowly, each step carefull as his paws touched the wood boards of the old ship. He sniffed Balto, trying to to wake him up. Then he bounced up, and realised he was jsut to loud. Balto twitched, but that was it. Avalanch sighed with relief. He looked around for some type of food, but didnt find any. He sighed. So much for finding some food here on this boat... He thought. He started to walk of the boat, but before that he bumped into a mop that was leaned agint the wall. It felll down right onto Balto's head.[/color]

Balto bounced up, shocked form the hard mop fall on his head. He rubbed it with has paw, then he looked at Avalnch who was now running awy. "Pups." Balto muttered, heqading back to his blanket to try to get back to sleep. It was hard now becasue he had a really bad headache! Balto rubbed his head with his front paw. He sighed and turned over on his side, but that didn't help either. So he just got up and drank some water, then jumped of the boat and went back into town to be with his home-dogs- or find that one husky who snuck on Balto's boat and pushed the mop over which hit Balot's head.

Luke, with his wolf knowlage had this trick played on hm before - He could tell Maple was using the cough excuse as a way to cover up the growling. Although; He didn't want to say anything to her... You know, just incase. He smiled and nodded at Jenna. "Nice meeting you, ma'am" He said in his polite Queen's English voise. He turned around and walked off after Maple, awaiting his first visit to his new "Home", or his home for now atleast, he wasn't going stright into conclusions that it's his permenant home.

He walked with Maple down Main St. and that talk with her mum that made her growl was bugging him, he didn't want to say anything, but in this case - He did. "Uhh Maple." he said. "Why did you growl at your mother?" he asked curiously. "And don't cover it up, that tricks been played on me before." He said. "Is it because you don't get on with your mum... Wait hang on." He said thinking for a moment. "It's not because you think I still like your ugly sister Alue is it?" His face looked cnfused, but at the same time curious at why Maple was growling at her own Mother, or possiblet worse, HIMSELF! But Luke couldn't have that, Maple wouldn't growl at him for getting on with her mother would she?

Maple looks at him and notices the confused look on his face 'No i wasn't growling at you' She trots a little further ahead as she thinks to herself. She comes to the conclusion he is a very smart ,perhaps sly, wolf. She looks back at him 'And no i don't get one with my mother thank you very much, and to be honest you could be after my sister considering the fact that you arrived just like all the other stupid bone headed males that think they even have a chance to get to her!' She growls again before jumping up onto some boxes before laying down and growling to herself. She quickly regains sense and looks at Luke 'Look Luke, I'm sorry i didn't mean to go off on one and growl at you, i just get a little annoyed at when people take a lot of notice of Aleu just because she lives in a wolf pack. Shes not the only one who can do that shes just the only one who chooses to do that'

She stands up and shakes her fur before jumping off the boxes and looking about then to Luke. 'Right well i guess you want to see your new home... I mean the place you will be staying for x amount of time' She turns quickly and walks off before taking a few shortcuts to get to her home. Once there she goes inside and leaves the dog door open for Luke.


Swift was sitting at a window in the Boiler room and was watching his sister. He growled as he saw her shout at Luke. He instantly thought that Luke had said something to upset or anger her and shook his head, He knew Maple hated being used so was very secretive and quiet around new dogs that she didn't quite know yet. But what surprised him the most was when she walked off again with Luke following. It amazed him that this wolf who had just arrived had managed to somehow convince Maple to let him stay at her home. He couldn't quite put his paw on the reason, He could state his reputation on the fact that Maple was very wary of Luke and thought that he was just going to use her to get to Aleu to be her mate. He growled at the thought and laid down again his head laid over his paws. He closed his eyes before falling asleep, deep in thought still.

Once Maple arrives home she goes to the stairs before going underneath them and laying down in her bed with her back to the room, she curls her tail around herself and flattens her ears. She started to think to herself. She knew that in the back of her mind she had doubts about Luke and she wondered if he was just using her to get to Aleu, most male dogs around at the time would be trying to get to Aleu. 'Oh Aleu' she thought to herself. 'Daddy's little girl, mommy's precious little angel, stupid wolf pack leading dog' She growls and jumps up again before turning and smacking a bone across the room until it hits the wall with a Thud. She sits back down staring at the window, every so often a growl escaping her mouth.

Maple looks at him as he speaks to her, she listens very carefully to what he says taking in everything. She tenses slightly as he licks her and takes a small step back before sitting down again. She looks at him very surprised when he calls her 'Pretty' And looks away finding herself not able to look at him straight in the face. She waits until he leaves before laying down and thinking to herself. She found herself being torn two ways. On the one paw she really wanted to accept what Luke was saying and get to know him so much better and maybe... No, she shook her head quickly to clear all thoughts that were arising. She then turned to the other reason. She still felt she was going to be used and the way luke was acting made her feel strange and wary of him. She sits up again and walks out into the living room before sitting down at the window and looking out.

At this moment in time she really needed someone to talk to. She knew she couldnt talk to Swift,his view of Luke so far was that he couldnt be trusted and Swift felt he needed to watch out for Maple, even if it annoyed her. Then there were her parents. She shakes her head at the thought, she would not lower herself to that standard as to talk to her parents. Balto would be to concerned with Aleu and Jenna... well who knows. That left Saba and Aleu, although she made out that she couldnt stand being around Aleu and Saba, Maple loved them very dearly and looked up to both with great aspirations, she just couldnt find herself talking to them about this.

She looked over at Luke as she thought to herself, the events of the past few days confused her greatly and made her seem more tense than as per usual. She looks down at her paws before getting up and walking over to Luke, She sits down next to him then takes a big breath before looking at him. 'Luke I'm really sorry for going crazy at you, i know i shouldn't have done it i just couldnt help myself that's all. Its been a bit hectic recently and Aleu returning home has not made it any easier. Deep down i just want to have a quiet life just for 5 minutes you know.' She laughs slightly thinking she sounds like she is in a cheap TV soap opera. She looks at him with a smile 'Anyway I'm glad your staying to be fairly honest, its nice to have a new wolf in town. Someone new to talk to' She smiles before looking around again. 'so what do you think of the house? pretty boring i know, but hey its warm and provides food'


Swift was awoken from his sleep as 4 dogs walked into the boiler room. He growled slightly before standing up and walking over to the door. One of the dogs turned and threw something off Swift. Swift turned and bared his teeth before growling at the dogs 'do that again and you wont have a life left to live' He walked out with a snarl before looking around and walking towards Maples house. He shook his head thinking about the other dogs. They were from a rival sled team and hated Swift for no apparent reason.Once Swift arrived at Maples house he laid down outside, He knew Luke was inside and had no intention of going inside but kept his ears pricked up and alert just in case anything happened. He knew he was over protective of Maple but he couldnt help it. he always had been especially since they were pups, their dad was always busy with Aleu and Kodi. One time Maple had wandered off into town whilst they were all in town and nearly got hit by a sled. He thought himself lucky that he was in the right place at the right time to stop Maple from getting hit and perhaps fatally injured by that sled. He smiled at the thought of that event, it made their relationship as a brother and sister much stronger. He sat up and went inside, He then saw Maple and Luke and purposely sat very close to Maple. He quickly moved away as Maple turned and gave him such a look that would make any male dog move. He then saw a hint of pleading in Maples eyes and knew she wanted no trouble and for him to at least give Luke a chance as she was going to do. He smiled warmly at her and nodded before laughing slightly as she grinned and wagged her tail frantically.

Ooc:// Sorreh guys, I has Tonsilities, and I feel really bad - So I won't be able to post for the next few days.

Luke was looking out of the window, when Maple sat beside him. He looked at her, but didn't take much notice because of... Well, she didn't want her to kick off again. He listened to what Maple was saying, a little smile came to his face, she had said sorry to him, as did he. Although he wondered why it was so sudden, he thought to himself as she finished, and he could feel the emotion's running through them both. He was happy she'd said sorry, but it wasn't her fault, he would feel the same if he was in the same situation; So he HAD to let her off the hook, and to be honest - He wanted to, he didn't want to stay mad at her, nor would he want Maple to stay mad at him.

He looked at Maple in the eyes and his smile grew wider. "It's okay Maple." He said, he looke ddown at his paws and sighed. "I was being an armpit myself." He looked out the window, then back at Maple, he laughed slightly. "I should be the one saying sorry." His smile turned to a blush. "Yeah well... I guess it's nice to save someone as amazing as you to talk to." He chuckled, taking a deep breath - Becoming slightly nervous. WHAT! Nervous? Hang on a second, Luke getting nervous around... A girl? Abit rare for him to feel, but she was just his friend - And eh HAD to make sure he didn't get carried away to quickly, or at all on that matter. Otherwise it may just go down the toilet, his friend relationship with Maple, and his "crush" relationship she never knew about... Yet.

Luke turned around at Maple's sudden exitment, to see Swift. He smled and nodded in greeting. "Ever....Afternoon" He chuckled. "Or evening, winter seasons are a total fail to Alaska." He chuckled at looked at Swift. "How are you?" He asked, sounding abit "fatherish", although, he was generally being friends with him, he never wanted to get on the bad side of Swift, nor did he the bad side of Maple... That WOULD be an Epic fail. He looked at Maple who semmed really exited and stood back, not trying to intrude on there brother/sister time, he would think they had. "If you want... I'll, you know... Just..." he shrugged his shoulder's not knowing what to say to them, maybe he was better just shutting up? Probably, and thats what Luke was going to do.

Luke knew what Swift's first impressions where of him, someone who wanted to use Maple to get to Alue - But so he thought, he wished his life would go simply how he wanted it to, but that would just make life boring; Boring, but a hell lot better. But still, he had to take what was thrown at him - And this was something he was going to do, he was going to try to *befriend* Swift, now, tomorrow, whenever he could, but that was his new mission, make very close friends with Swift... And then do as little as CONSIDER Maple, but by the time he thought it would take for him to become friends with Swift, he might of lost total interest in Maple, although - That was practicly impossible... Or was it? Luke just took a deep breath and hoped for the best, as he waited for a response from Swift.




Wowerz, I think that was rather long... Although thats what you lot get for not seeing me post in a couple of days, and let my posting get all, weird Lulz. Sorry for any poor Grammaring or spelling... Or wording at that, i'm still not 100%, thanks.

Uh, epic fail.

Maple smiles at Swift and licks his cheek before walking off outside and laying down thinking. She was glad that they were back on good terms, so finally felt a little at peace. She closed her eyes as the sun hit her, she smiled broadly and stretched out her paws. She did honestly like Luke, he was a lovely wolf at first glance, very striking. She wasn't wrong about his personality, from what she had seen he was an interesting character, with a good sense of humour and good common sense. She smiled to herself and looked back into the house and looked at Luke as he was talking to Swift, she sighed and sat up with a yawn.

Swift looked at Luke then thought about Maple. He smiled at Luke 'alright, you?' He watched Maple as she left then yawns and looks back to Luke 'liking it here?' He was going to try and do as Maple wanted and become friends with Luke, but in his own mind he had a plan, something that Maple would hate. He didn't look that bad after all 'You know if you don't want to stay here, my house is always free. Its gotta be kinda weird for you staying with a female' He laughs slightly at the thought 'yeah, you can stay at mine if you want, it might be a little less hectic.' 'and a little less tempting' He thought to himself before looking over at the door and seeing Maple.

Maple was listening to Luke and Swift and sat up watching them. She heard what Swift said about Luke coming to stay with him and glared at him 'Swift, If he wants to stay here then he can! i didn't see you rushing to his aid when he first arrived, you would have preferred for him to just stay on the streets' She looks to Luke 'Feel free to stay here or with Swift, you are always welcome here and if you ever need anything just howl.'. She looks at Luke then Swift with a snarl before walking off and jumping up onto the fence and jumps up onto the roof next door before running off along the roofs. She looks back at the house then glares before making her way along the roofs into the main town and laying down again on the post office roof. She knew what Swift was trying to do but actually didn't care,Sure she was starting to care for Luke and unbeknownst to even herself she was developing a crush on him, But in her own mind she pushed this to the back of her mind and concentrated on getting to know him first. She started grooming her fur as she watched dogs in town, many she knew and others annoyed the heck out of her. If a certain dog passed she could tell you almost anything about them, She was a silent witness, she preferred to listen and take notice instead of barging in and falling flat on her face.

Swift quickly gets up and runs to the door 'Maple! Maple! Come Back!' He growls under his breath and shakes his head as he mumbles 'stupid dog'. He looks to Luke and laughs slightly 'Females, what you going to do. She'll be back, she cant stay away from here' He walks back into the living room and sits down again 'so...any ideas on where your going to stay? or would you prefer to get to know me first?' He also knew his intentions, yes he was going to get to know Luke but he didn't want to accept him straight away. He could see the look Maple would give to Luke as he wasn't looking, and he wasn't happy about it. He wanted her to be mates with a dog from his sled team, at least that way he could still keep an eye on her and to be fairly honest he promised this dog Maple as a reward for doing something from him. He did feel guilty for what he had promised but he couldnt bare to see Maple with someone unfamiliar to him. He got up and walked around Luke 'Firstly though i need to know things about you, like for example why your around my sister? you know she has a nervous disposition, its a miracle she is even talking to you. You've got to want something from her maybe a gateway to Aleu?' He stares Luke straight in the face wait his teeth bared. He would only do this when Maple wasnt around. In reality he wouldn't dare mess with his sister because he knew he would regret it, and if she were here to see him be like this with Luke she would probably kill him.



Sorry about the short post, I'm in a bit of a bad mood, I've been told I'm going to fail at life. *sigh* Also couldnt really think of what to write for Maple.

Jake stopped when he heard Aleu calling after him. He turned his head around to look at her as she struggled for the right words that would make him stay. He said as she came up empty. "I know we're still friends, Aleu," Jake said as he turned his whole body around to face. "But you couldn't have told me that you were leaving? I could have gone with you if you had come to me instead of just running off like you did. And then, maybe, you wouldn't be here right now and we'd both be with your pack. And things would be different." He wasn't exactly sure how to say what he wanted to say without sounding like a love sick puppy. Wich he wasn't. Aleu was just a really close friend. Or once was. Maybe things had changed since they were pups, but there was still that connection between them. But now that they were older it was stronger than ever. Jake didn't allow for anything other than the 'just friends' part to cross his mind, though these other thought quickly ran through the back of his mind.

"Ive been good, I guess," Saba said, scratching the back of her ear as she answer Nate. She used this second to decide if Nate really knew anything about his little sister. Saba knew that Lucy didn't have that many friends because she was cooped up in the house all time. Saba concluded that Nate either didn't realize what he was doing to his siter's socail life, or he was lying to her. She hoped that it wasn't the latter. "How about you?" she asked as she set her paw back down.

Jessica cocked her head at him. "Well, at least you have a pack. A home. A family. Here, being part wolf is a sin and nobody wants you. Not the dogs. Not the people. I had an actual life when I was a pup and lived with my family pack in the woods. But my whole family's dead now except for Jake and he's adapted well to the streets. All I want is to go back in time and stop the hunters from ever finidng us." She hung her head low. "All I want is to find someplace where I belong. Someplace with a family. And I just can't find that here."

Aleu lowered her head and issued a soft whimper. "I know and I'm sorry, Jake. I just... I didn't even know I was leaving. My father told me I was part wolf and I thought it explained a lot. I should have come to you, Saba, or even Jess but I ran. It was stupid, I know, but even then I didn't plan to stay away that long. I thought I'd spend the night away and then go home but... I found out somethings."

Nate sighed. "I'm okay." He considered telling Saba about hsi trouble with Lucy. "Well, actually, I'm having trouble with Lucy. It's my fault, I know that. I'm gone alot and lock her up int eh house when I am home. But.. I'm scared for her. If she finds someone who will hurt her like my father hurt me... But her father was better than that, even if she can't remember." He sighed again and closed his eyes. "But I can't let her run amuck and in danger either! I just can't let myself do it. It's hard... She's growing up and she's getting wilder adn wilder and I can't stop her. It scares me. I know I should be better with her, try to udnerstand, but it's hard. I can't do it..."

Shiloh flicked an ear with a scoff. "I don't have a fmaily. Aleu is my only friend. No one trusts me or welcomes me because I'm not afraid to go into town. They aren't afraid of her becuase she's part fdog but I'm all wolf. Everyone thinks I'm some crazy psyco path for it." He let out a hard, irritated laugh. "TRust me, I understand what you mean."
