Swift walks over to Maple then nudges her away from the butchers. He watches as she walks over hte road then sprints into the butchers when the butcher isnt looking. He takes enough for all the other dogs including lucy. He runs over to Maple then sits down laughing by her as he drops the meat on the floor. He picks up two pieces again and walks over to Lucy before giving her one 'For you' He smiles

Maple grins and picks up two pieces of meat then goes back over to Luke, drops one by him before taking two steps right and laying down. She starts eating the meat then looks up at Luke halfway through 'Luke this may sound strange but your welcome to stay at mine for as long as you like, my owners will welcome you with open arms, and no doubt my family will.' She smiles then finishes off her meat before licking her lips. 'So basically Mi Casa Es Su Casa' She laughs slightly and itches under her chin with her claw. 'So what do you want to do first? unless you want to eat then i could show you where you can stay' She looks about as she talks.

Balto had been watched Aleu prance away, and had wondered what she was up to. He took a couple steps which were an attempt to follow her, but he decided to to. He didnt want to inbarress her. So he went back to the group. Sience now all the dogs were preety much doing there own thing, he walked away once again, but not to follow Aleu, but to get to his own home. He looked abck at Jenna, mouthing to her that he wa sleaving to go home. After he made sure she got the message, he pranced across Nome. Soon he was out of the town, into just open land. There wer eno houses or anything of that sort. Soon he pranced up onto a beach. Soon he saw a big, wooden abandened boat. That was where he lived. He ran up a ramp that led him into the boat. He layed down under his blanket, going into a deep sleep.

Bic:// Jake hurried his pace when he heard footsteps behind him and quickly turned a corner. He thought he had lost whoever it was until he nearly smacked into the wolfdog that was causing so much chaos in this town. Aleu stood in front of him, blocking the small path that he was on. He sighed. He didn't like company. Especailly famous company. Being a wolf dog, he didn't exactly want his name getting around in all the latest gossip and talk.

He nearly ran the opposite way when Aleu knew his name. His ears automatically went flat against his head. Maybe his name was already talked about. He narrowed his eyes at Aleu. "How do you know my name?" he said in a deep, rough face that was just on the edge of a growl.

Jessica cocked her head at Shiloh. "So you're with Aleu, eh?" she said. "Well, I;m Jessica, by the way. One of the street dogs of Nome. Not exactly the best thing to be..." She drifted off and drifted into her own thoughts. All that Jess had ever wanted since she was a puppy was a home of her own. How did Balto and his family do it? Be acceted and, in some cases, find a home? Life wasnt far.

Jess snapped out of the clouds of her mind and looked at Shiloh again. "So, what's Alue, the alpha of her own wolf pack now, doing in Nome? And why are you with her?"

"See ya, Aleu!" Saba called after her sister as she ran off. Saba was slightly confused as to what Aleu was doing. Wasn't she supposed to be here to visit family? Saba sighed as she wondered off in the other direction. SHe avoided going over to what she would call the sled team's group. Her brother Swift and his sister Maple. Saba hardly refered them as her siblings anymore. She could disappear and the two of them would hardly notice. Then, of course. Nate was with them. And Lucy. The wolf in town, Luke, looked perfectly happy with them.

Saba stopped when she noticed a wolf dog, she thought his name was Avalanch, looking like he might wonder over to them. That would be a mistake right there. As far as Saba knew, the sled team's group was exclusive. Luke was with Maple and Maple was with Swift, and Lucy was with Nate. Saba and Avalanch had no ties to the group, at least known that she wanted to recognize. She walked and sat beside Avalanch. "I wouldn't go over there if I was you," she said in a sing-songy voice.

Luke looked up at Maple, and smiled. "Well, I just need to-" He cut himself out by throwng the steak in the air, then catching it in his mouth. He chewed on it for about 10 seconds before looking up at Maple, then taking on a heavy swallow. "I guess a little look around won't hurt, I mean I might aswel get to know the town." He stood up and licked his lips, getting the bits of blood off it, before standing next to Maple. "Anyone else commin?" He asked in a slightly 'cockney' accent.

He looked around to Swift, who was sitting there enjoying his meal, before turning hs head to Lucy, who was actually doing the same. Maple they would just go on there own? But he would most certainly prefer it if someone else came with them, you never know what some people are like. he was just glad to of made friends with such wonderful people, in to some extent, a such wonderful area. He felt athome, atlast.

Aleu rolled her eyes. "Don't get your fur in a jumble," se said in a half teasing/half exhasperated voice. "First of all, my sister told me. Second of all, now that I'm looking at you... I recognize you from growing up here." She paused and decided to introduce herself. "Uh,I'm Aleu.... Balto's crazy runaway." She rolled her eyes and chuckled.
Cocking her head to teh side, she marveled to herself about how fast dogs could change. Jake looked diffrent than she remembered. Good... but different. A thousand thoughts ran through her mind as she compared him teh the pup she had known lond ago. He was so different and yet so similar. Was that even posssible?

Lucy wagged her tail at swift. "thanks!" She started eating hungrily. Lucy hadn't had much to eat all day, NAte usually got the food and she could only do the best she could. She knew an elderly woman who was more than willing to give her some food when she went by there but she hadn't beena ble to fidn the way last night. When she was done, she looked up. "Gee, thanks, Swift!"

Swift grins at Lucy 'No problemo, its the least i can do. Now wheres your brother? im sure he'll be looking for you, considering your always on the run from him' He laughs and nudges her playfully before trotting off into the snow. He looked around wondering where to go. The north of hte town his mothers house, the south his dads. To the east the boiler room and to the west dense forests. He thought for a while before smiling and running off up into the forest, he runs to his favourite place a small lake surrionded by trees making it a peaceful place where he could think and relax.

Maple watches him leave before grinning then turning to Luke. 'Well i think i might go see my mom, i havent seen her in a while. You can come if you want, im going home afterwards i need to know if my owners are going to be home.' She stands up then jumps down into the snow before trotting off up the mainstreet and taking a shortcut under a fence. She soon arrives in her mothers backyard and looks around, she cant help herself but have a quick roll in the snow to make her fur cleaner. She jumps up then trots over to the back door and scratches it before waiting impatiently, wondering wether he mom is in or not.

Lucy watched Avalanch walk away from Saba without a word, her eyes narrowing. What good did walking away from anyone trying to ttalk to you without even a "hello" do anyone? She apdded to Saba and sat beside the hybrid. "Hey, Saba." She looked after Avlanch, her eyes still narrowed then sighed, shook her head, and turned back to Saba with a grin. "So how're you doin?"
Her shoulders hunched and her eyes flew wide open when she heard ehr name called. "Lucy!"

"Lucy!" Nate growled softly when he saw her. Honestly! Would it kill her to not run from him? He bounded to her. "What are you playing at? Running around town alone? you're only five months old, Lu! Five freaking months! If Dad saw you-" He borke off. They had different fathers. He'd forgotten. Lucy'd never known the strict obuse he'd delt with for his whole childhood. "Never mind. But Mom wouldn't stand for it either." There, something the naughty pup would understand. Mom.
He turned to Saba. "Uh, sorry." He flicked his tail at Lucy. "She can never stand still. I'm, uh, sorry if she, you know, bothered you." Then he sighed and said wearily, "Lucy, go home, okay?" Scoffing, the pup trotted away indignatly. He loooked at Saba and said, "Hey, I know you have siblings and... how do you handle it? I know I don't always treat Lucy the best but I'm worried about her."
"I don't want her getting into trouble like I grew up doing," he explained softly. "We have different fathers but she never knew hers and she hardly knew her mother. I came just as as Mom was dying. Lu just doesn't understand how hard life is to live alone. I'm worried about her." He smiled apologetically. "Sorry for that. I know that had to be annoying."

Shiloh chuckled softly. "Aleu's on some... buisness. Her pack are refusing to allow her to remain alpha if she doesn't have a mate. Most the guys in our pack are scumbags so she came here to look around. And, well, someone had to come with her. the rest of the pack was very against setting paw in town." He looked at her curiously. "so you're a street dog. What's living in town like?" He noticed that she seemed upset by the fact that she was a street dog and hesitated. Softly, he said, "If you want, I can give yo some advice. I've seen many dogs find homes on my travels. I might be able to help you find one."

Ooc:// Woot woot for Nate's post! I think it was my longest yet!!! Yeah!

Aleu looked at her paws, hiding the hurt look in her eyes at his tone. She knew that her leaving had hurt him. "I'm sorry, Jake... I know that. I just... I didn't forget, I'm having a crazy day." Not to mention a crazy mission, she added. "I didn't mean to up and leave. I was trying to find out who I was and Papa followed. I foudn the pack and just.. knew.... I dunno." How was it that now that she was talking to Jake, she wasn't sure if she wanted to be in a pack anymore? "I'm sorry," she repeated. Her thoughts traveled to Saba. Oh man! She had up and left her too! She could have raked her claws over her own ears in frustration. Did she always do that? She'd go back and apologize soon.

Nate glanced after his sister. She ahd vnaished. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to send her off like that. I've been looking for her all day and I just got a bit irritated at her." He blushed softly under his fur, embarassed for his mistake. He was over protective, he knew that, but it was only becasue he was reluctant to let Lucy near anyhting that would scar her both physically and mentally, the way he had been by his father. He glanced down at his paws, staring at the long scar traveling across his left foreleg. "I can go get her if you want..."

Lucy ha dnever really left. She had retreated to teh balcony, where she was staring down at them, listening in. Well! She wouldn't run from her brother if he gave her the freedom to breathe! He should trust her more! At his last words, she relaxed but then tensed again. If he went looking, he'd find her spying on them... Uh-oh. She was screwed.

Shiloh nodded slowly. "Yeah, I understand. Purebreds drive me nuts." He looked at her again. "But I do think I picked up a few tricks from travels. I don't ahve to go to the door with you. Anyway, it was just an offer." He shrugged his massive shoulders and glanced around, pricking his ears. Okay, nothing seemed out of the unordinary. He knew to keep a lcose watch on anything that seemed out of place because it migt out his alpha in danger. Lowering his ears to their usual position, he turned back to Jess.

"Jake..." Aleu pinned her ears back. "Jake, hang on! That's not what I meant. Don't... You're still my friend, Jake." What she had meant to say was this wolf pack isn't who I am but she couldn't get it to come out. "Jake..."

Nate nodded. "Yeah, I bet she does." He didn't want to admit that he didn't really know. He loved his sister but she was secretive about what she did when he wasn't with her. "So, how have you been?"

Shiloh nodded. "Yeah, I know how you feel. I'm kind an outsider here. Nobody can relate." He closed his eyes. "I never really fit in either. No one bothered to relate to a wolf who just appeared one day." He had been abandoned by his parents and hte pack had found him. Other than Aleu, he didn't really have any friends. He was an oucast in more ways that one. He wasn't afraid to venture into town, which made hte pack weary of him. He'd tried to explain that Aleu wasn't afraid to eitehr but they countered with teh fact that she's threee quarters dog and there's a difference. He was wolf. All wolf. An outcast among his own pack, the only home he'd ever known.
