Balto sighed. "The only way it would be good for Niju to come back, if he had changed. Which is most likly inpossible." Balto decided. He looked down at his paws once more. He watched as his daughter bounded of to another wof dog; just like her. His yellow eyes were fixed on Aleu. She was grown up, but Balto still didnt want her to get in any trouble. He sighed proudly as a true wolf stepped into the town of Nome. writers block

Maple watches Aleu go over to the wolf dog before hearing a familiar bark. She turns quickly and barks, frantically wagging her tail and jumping up and down, making her fur bounce as she spins around almost falling over.

Swift Bounded into Nome, pulling a sled along with his team. He was a unique coloured wolf/dog. He was ruby red with brown tints in hi fur and bi coloured eyes. It was obvious from his size that he had inherited the wolf gene, his large paws and muscular legs showed he was powerful enough to pull a sled however his mothers auburn eyes and beautiful colour complimented him well. He stops short of the post office and is unhooked from the sled before trotting over to Maple.

Maple grins and howls loudly before jumping onto Swift and covering him in licks and nuzzles, obviously ecstatic of her brothers return. 'Swift! your back! at last!' She giggles then climbs off him and sits down before brushing a tuft of fur on her head down then looking at Luke and smiling and blushing. 'Luke this is Swift, My big brother'.

Swift laughs and sits up before spotting Luke, his eyes harden and he lets out a gruff growl 'Who is this?' He stands protectively infront of Maple before growling again. He looks over at the group of dogs then at Maple 'obviously Aleu is back, am i correct?' He knew this from the scent of a wolf/dog on the way to nome. He instantly knew why they were here he had caught the scent of season from Alue and knew Maple would Come into season soon after Aleu. He growled again even more protective over Maple and looked around at all the male dogs that would try anything on with her which he knew many wouldnt as most of them were after Aleu because of her so called 'wild Instincts'.

Whilst Swift was scouting around, Maple crawls underneath him and walks back over to Luke and sits down next to him. 'Swift dont be so protective you know i can protect myself.' She laughs slightly then smils at Luke before turning to Swift 'This is Luke, Swift. He is here to see ALeu. Or should i make that was?' She questions before setting herself straight 'no hes here to make friends and get to see Nome.' Maple Looks over as the pack of dogs began to disperse 'Ah peace at least. Maybe now we can get something to eat Swift?'

Swift nods and stands up before looking down to the butchers as he sees him leave for his own lunch. Swift grins 'Sausages or Steak, Ma soeur?' He grins then shakes his fur before heading off towards the butchers padding across the snow and leaving big wolf like paw prints.

Maple smiles then begins to follow, padding lightly in his footprints, playfully. She then stops suddenly and looks at Luke. She smiles 'Want to join us? it would be rude of me not to ask. Surely you must be hungry after a journey like that' She smiles again then follows her brother, slowly.

Swift twitches his ears and grols slightly, it was not the fact he didnt like Luke, he was just worried Luke would try to take advantage of Maple. Although he knew she was smart he also knew she wasnt that experienced when it came to males. 'Well we'll see how you go Luke' He says to himself.

Luke was slightly dazzled on the arrival of Swift, it was the first time he met Maple's brother, and he seemed rather protective of his sister. He smiled at Maple and shuddered slightly when she said; "he's here to see Alue", although he was relieved when he found out she was just joking. He looked at Swift and smiled "Pleasure to meet you." he said.

As Maple left, and asked him to join her; he smiled and ran after them. "Thats an offer I cant turn down." He chuckled. He walekd with them to the butchers. "Err, I don't mind - I'm just glad i'm getting something.". He was happy that he'd made friends with Maple, and that hopefully he could make friends with Swift too. He took a deep breath and a voise inside him said: "If you accept, you will live, if you deline, your life will pass through you, never to continue". He was confused `what did that mean?` He asked himself. `I have to accept?` He thought for a few moments and then smiled, finaly realising what it ment.

When Swift entered the room he turned his head to Maple. "It would be my pleasure." He said. "I mean, if you still want someone like me staying at your house." he chuckled slightly before standing up. "Or would you rather me just stay.... Err." He looked around. "Somewhere...." He started laughing as he thought he'd looked a complete idiot, before sitting up again, and looking at Maple in the eyes. "Or would you rather gain my trust, before you accept me into your home?"

He wasn't sure about how Maple would react on having him in her home, afterall - They had just met! It wasn't like they have been friends for years, and his wner had just kicked him out. On the other hand, he was delighted that she would show him around, and maybe give him a place to stay. As he awaited a few seconds for Maple to reply, he prayed to God that she would do something, even if he wouldn't sleep in the same house, all he needed was SOMEWHERE. And Luke just hoped Maple was nice enough to lend a paw.




Err - Sorry if that last paragraph was hard to understand. I was having a writer's block whilst writing it, and I certainly wasn't sure what to write lol.

Lucy slid off the roof she was on and onto the balcony under it. Thank goodness She looked down, gazing at Swift intently. He was a great sled dog! She watched his races occasionally and admired him greatly. Her small paws moved as she kneeded the ground impatiently, gazing at teh group. She also recognized Maple, a kind-hearted female in teh town. Maple was another dog she looked up to greatly. And... another dog was next to tehm. Who was he? She took a small step forward, barely not falling off the balcony. Her brother, Nate, was another sled dog. He was on Swift's team but, to be honet, she didn't look up to him as much. He was over-protective of her and refused to understnad that she had a life too. She took anotehr step forward and fell down the gap imbetween poles ont eh balcony, falling straight onto the ground beside Swift.

Nate sniffed the air, glancing around. Where was Lucy? His ears flattened to teh top of his head in agitation. She was always running off without warning. Did she ever think? What on earth did she do when he was on a run? Run amuck and agitate everyone in sight? Sighing, he padded through the town, his narrowed eyes searching for any sign of his wold sister. She may have only been his half-sister but he couldn't love her anymore than he did. His paw slid onto a patch of ice, dragging him with it. When he stopped sliding, he grunted with pain. His right front paw was tucked under his stomach. His right paw had been broken when he was younger by his abusive father but the Pack Healer managed to fix it. Getting back up slowly, he padded after the scent. He could also scent his friend, Swift nearby. Maybe he'd seen Lucy.

'That was quite a fall' He laughs slightly but not at her. He then looks back to Maple and then Lucy 'You remember Maple right. Anyway i bet you kinda glad to have your brother back eh? he did great on our last run to white mountain' [color]

Maple turns to Luke 'Well i dont really mind, aslong as you stay downstairs. Or if you want you can sleep in the dog house out back of the house, its very warm. My owners make sure that they keep blankets in their for me' She then turns and looks at Swift and Lucy
and laughs ever so slightly before smiling at Lucy again before sniffing hte air and looking in hte butchers window. 'Hmmm steak looks good, but by the smell of those sausages they are definetly off date' She murmurs to herself. She jumps down again and shakes her fur beffore looking over at Luke 'Where did you say you used to live again?

((Im just going to start to RP with Avalanch.))

A young husky, about the age of 2 or maybe a little older, was digging threw a grabage can that he had knocked over. That dog was name Avalanch, Ava for short. He was a husky, some believe that he was part wolf. Nobody knew the real truth tho. But for now, he was just Nome's, dog to pick on. The dogs have started to do what they always used to do to Balto, picking on him, and calling him a halbreed. Well onky come called him a half breed, the ones that believe he was one. Avalanch didnt know the real awnser baout his idenity either. All he knew is that he was a 4-legged creature, and that was it. He didnt have a home either, he was a stray- which explains about him digging threw garbadge cans. But then how does he have a name you ask? Well, thats an easy question to awnser. He had a home, but no anymore. You see, he was asopted at a pet store by a young man and woman. But then on a snowy Christmas morning, they gave Ava to there son. The young boy loved him and named him Avalnch, Ava for short,and he loved him- untill it happened. The young boy- Jack, his name was. Was jsut walking with Avalanch on a leash. But then a mean pitbull tried to attack Jack. Avlanch lunged at the dog, attacking him. About 5 minutes later the dog was killed, and the young boy ran away screaming abck to his home. Avalanch followed him home, thinking he would get a great reward from saving his boy, Jack. But the older man- who Jack called, 'dad'- put Avalanch in the back fo the truck. He took him to the vet, telling the person at the front desk that this dog needed to be destroyed. He told them about what he had done, and the vet had agreed to have him destroyed- in other words, putting him to sleep. The man gave the short blue leash to the vet, and the vetr tugged on it, practicly dragging Avlanch down the hall way into a room. He layed him on a table. Avalanch kept squriming to get off the table. It took 5 people to hold him down. Finally, the vet got a shot with a sharp needle. The vet walked twords AVlanch. He saw the needle, and whimpered. Then he realise what he was going to do. So he jumped off the table, running off. After that he had to fend for himself, sure the first few ngihts were terriable. But soon he found that living in a shack wasn't so bad. Except none would accept him for who he was, and nobdy probaly ever would.

Bic:// Lucy looked up. "Uh, yeah, I'm fine," she mumbled, a small blush coming udner her fur. She had never fallen before and it made her quite embaressed that it had happened. She slowly stood up and looked at Maple. "Yeah, I do. Hi, Maple." She looked back at Swift. "Yeah, I'm glad he's back but he can be really grumpy sometimes!" She glanced around to make sure he wasn't around then looked at Maple and wagged her tail. "Ooh! Steak!" Then she followed Maple's gaze to Luke and asked, "Who are you? I've never seen you around before. I'm Lucy."

Luke took a deep breath and said. "I never lived anywhere, I was born in the UK but evacuated by my pack because the population was delining." A slight tear came to his eye. "I was the only one to make it out of country from my pack.... Alive" He turned away as a tear rolled down his face remember the bad experiances he had when he was a pup, and how he got there. "I managed to sneak onto the Olympic and get to New york, before headinf off to Alaska, it took me almost a year to get here... And I don't even know why I came to this part, when I could of attempted to settle elsewear". He hung his head in shame.

He stayed silent for a few seconds before looking back up at the most Beautiful creature he had ever seen and smiled. "If i'm to be honest Maple, i'm grateful that you would even bther talking to me, let alone try to give me shelter...." He sighed happily and said "Thanks Maple." He felt truly welcomed here, at Nome.... Alaska.

In Luke's short and current life, he had suffered bullying, depression, and an alful lot of patience, although he had to find his own shelter, food, and water. But here; it was different, he suddenly had a friend, who offered him a place to stay untill he finds his own little shelter, or place to stay, Another friend that was actually just about to get him the first peace of food he'd had in 4-5 days! What more could he possibly ask for when he'd not even been there a week. `This place if Great.` He thought, smiling at the fact he could actually stay here long term, and not just for a few days/weeks.

Luke looked down at Lucy and nodded in greeting. "Hell Ma'am, i'm Luke - I've just arrived from..." He hung his head for a second time. "England". He looked back up at her. "But put the passed aside, I really like it here." He said. he looked back up at Maple and smiled, before looking back down at the 6 month old pup. "Pleasure to meet you, Ma'am."
