Kat didn’t know where she was driving, she just drove and drove. She fought back tears and tried to keep herself from thinking to deeply about her life. Once a few hour out of town, and very low on gas, Kat pulled over and stopped at a gas station. She swiped her credit card and started filling the tank.

Arthur drove and drove aswell, having no clue where he was going. he turned down a back road, and hit something, swerving off the rode into a ditch and blacking out.

Alfred woke up and saw the note, before gasping and fumbling with his phone to call Kat.

Kat had fallen alseep in the car, a few miles away from the gas station. She felt her phone buzz early in the morning, but it had bee buzzing all night. She looked at the screen, expecting Rachel or Henry, but winced when she saw it was Alfred.
"What do you want?" She growled, her tone cool but bitter.

"okay I totally understand you hate me and hate Arthur and probably are having dreams of killing me because I'm stupid but dude I really need your help!" He yelped into the phone. "Arthur's gone. He left a note saying' stuff like he messed up our friendship and how he never should've come to america! Kat he doesn't know where he's going and he could be.." Alfred stopped realizing Kat probably didnt care.

“Hmm..He probably just went for a drive. Tell ya’ what. I’m about an hour East down the road, I’ll drive back to town and see if I can spot his car.” Kat offered, though she didn’t know what she was.

"Okay.." Alfred said shakily, before adding. "Amd Kat..I'm really really sorry about what I said..you don't have to forgive me, I just what you to know that." He said, before hanging up.

Arthur continued laying unckncious, since it was so late no car had passed by and noticed his car overturned in the ditch. He moaned, trying to move, to no evail, as his arm was jammed between the seat and the hood.

Kat didn't respond when he said he was sorry, instead she started driving. It wasn't long before she found a reck and a car to match. Kat cursed under her breath, she didn't expect to find Arthur. She pulled over and got out of the car. Kat ran to the drivers seat, and found that it was, in fact, Arthur.
"Sh*t! Arthur! Arthur! Wake up!" Kat called through the shattered glass. She noticed his smashed arm and whipped out her phone and dailed 911. After consulting the police she called Alfred.

Arthur grumbled something, wincing at the sudden loudness of her voice. He could open his eyes, it hurt to much, everything hurt. He adjusted his upside down position and yelped, twisting his arm out of it's holding place as the sirens zoomed into view, he blacked out again.

"Alfred, pick up the phone!" Kat urdged into the cell phone as an ambulance rolled to the curve. They gingerly loaded Arthur on and sped off, Kat tailed them.

Alfred picked up the phone and answered.
"Did you find him?!" He asked urgently, shaking anxiously.

"Yeah, we're on our way to the hospital, we'll be there in like 5 minuets." Kat said.

"OhMyGod thank you Kat I love you!" He squeaked into the phone, before shutting it and dashin out to his car. He was trailing Kat in the parking lot in less than five
Minutes.

Kat only nodded at his voice, then slapped her phone shut. She lingered in the parking lot for a few moments, took a deep breath, and got out of her car. Kat walked into the emergancy waiting room, which was pretty much empty. The nurse told her that she couldn't see Arthur for at least a few hours. And Kat shurgged, she took a seat and scrolled through her Ipod.

Altered followed Kat into the waiting room and once the nurse was gone he spoke up.
"How bad did he look? In the car..?" He asked curiously.


Arthur lay on the white bed, the deep antiseptic smell was too strong. He heard blurs of. The nurse saying he had a dislocated shoulder, a broken arm, possible concussion, numerous busted blood veins, and a broken rin.

"Broken." Kat said with no emotion in her voice. She popped a piece of gum in her mouth and chewed it, before picking a song on her Ipod and blasting it. This way she wouldn't have to listen to Alfred. She listened to the song Northern Downpour, by Panic at the Disco!.
