"Why me when your grandfather could do that?" Kefir motioned to Safari, who got up and walked to them. "I would love to tell you about the stars." He said. "Come outside."

"Grandpa we're already outside.'' Penda said laughing which caused the other siblings to laugh also.

"I mean, over here." Safari went over to a patch of grass right outside the den and under the stars. Ashante followed his geandfather and lay down beside him, his eyes focused on the stars above.

Penda and Zuberi followed their grandfather as well. Penda on the other hand climbed on the back of her grandfather and was on his mane looking up at the stars then looking down at her grandfather."He he.Hi grandpa.''

Safari grinned. "Look at the stars." he said, looking up. "All the Great Kings of the Past look down upon us from those stars." "Really?" Ashante asked, amazed. "Yes. So, whenever you feel alone, know that they will always be there to guide you, and so will I."

"Are one of those stars Mufasa?'' Asked Penda.

"Yes." Safari nodded. "You see that brightest star? That's King Mohatu's spirit. He was one of the greatest kings the Pridelands had ever seen"

"Wow!'' Said Zuberi amazed, "Wasn't Scar the one that killed King Mufasa?'' Penda then wondered if they were the desendants of the great kings of the past in her father's family tree.

"Yes. He was." Safari confirmed. "Well, kids. Its late, and I have dawn patrol tomorrow. Let's go to sleep." He got up, picked Penda up, and padded home, with his two grandchildren after him.

Penda didn't mind being carried she was tired and that's all that matters.

They all fell asleep, except for Ashante, who was planning to explore on his own.

As the sun begin to rise, Ashante slipped out and walked. He enjoyed the feel of the early morning sun. He loved to slip away from his parents. But, when he suddenly looked, he saw himself surrounded by hyenas by the water-hole. "Don't hurt me." he whined. "We're not going to hurt you." the alpha said. "We're just going to send you to your beloved Mufasa." That was all Ashante remembered before the hyenas leaped at him.

Penda opened her teal blue eyes finding herself cuddling next to her brother Zuberi she then looked for Ashante but couldn't find him,"Zuberi where's Ashante?'' She whispered nudging her brother gently.

Kefir woke up as he heard Penda ask Zuberi the question. "Don't you know where he is?" he asked her.

"I thought you'd know?'' Penda asked then looked to her left and saw her father she gulped and nudged Zuberi to be quiet.

Kefir pricked up his ears. He heard something very far away, something desperate. "Ashante!" he yelled as he got up. He nudged ASdia awake. "Ashante's in trouble." He then turned to his son Zuberi. "Look after your sister."
