Sean's temper cooled, and he sighed in relief.
"..You didn't have to do that..." He added quietly, fiddling with his fingers.
"Listen I'm really sorry about what I di-" He began before the door swung open.
"What. The. He**." Arthur said, folding his arms over his chest. Alfred stood behind him, flashing deadly glares at Sean. The scott smiled warmly, and then looked at Riley.
"Riley..What is he doing in this bloody hospital? And why the he** are you with him?!" The vrot demanded, making Alfred nearl wince at his tone.
"Arthur, I was..jumped...and Uh, Riley found me and she helped me!" Sean insisted and Arthur rolled his eyes.

I snorted and frowned at Sean when he was apologizing, I'd never forgive him. Then Arthur and Alfred enter the room and I shivered. "He was...Hurt...and he passed out, I didn't know what to do...I-I used a pay phone and got an ambulance...I'm s-sorry Arthur...I couldn't let him just die...He's only 17..." I whimpered, my voice cracking at the end. I hung my head, waiting for another verbal lashing.

Sean winced at Riley's words, and he hung his head again, so his hair covered his eyes. For a moment Arthur's gaze softened, but then he returned to his original glare.
"You shouldn't have been here anyways Sean." He snapped, causing the younger to wince.
"I know I'm really sorry I swear it will nev-" Sean began, before Arthur interrupted him.
"Sorry. Doesn't. Cut it kid." he snapped an Alfred huffed behind him. Sean nodded and bgan to get up.
"Now what are you doing?!" The Brit demanded.
"Getting out of your life.." Sean answered with a shrug. Arthur walked over, put him hands on Sean's chest, and pushed him back down.
"No. Your bloody staying here until your better."

I slumped my shoulders and got up from my chair, the last time I was here I... I cut myself off from thinking of little A.J and looked down at Sean, sure he was messed up in the head pretty badly, but he was still just a kid. Maybe he could redeem himself at one piont? I sighed and looked at Arthur, wondering if we were still together or not.

Arthur turned to Riley, his frown dissappearing.
"You and Alfred go on home..I need to talk to Sean." Arthur insisted. Alfred opened his mouth to day something, but then clamped it shut, nodding solemnly.
Sean, on the other hand, looking shyly up at Arthur, like a kid who was about to get yelled at.

I frowned, but nodded, obidiantly walking out of the room and down the hall. I looked at Alfred, my frowned deepend "So, what's the current relationship status with you and Arthur? I broke up with him you know, he's all yours" I said, I just had to. I continued to walk, feeling awkward as I did so.

Alfred closed the door quietly behind them, and perked at Riley's question.
"Iggy and me? Still the same.." He sai with a sad shrug, before frowning at Riley.
"Why dude? He loves you!"

Arthur sat on the edge of Seans bed quietly, averting his eyes to a square patch on the floor instead of Sean's gaze.
"I really am sorry for what I did Artie.." he murmured, poking Arthur's shoulder. Arthur turned and chuckled, seeing the boy he used to love as his neighbor.
"Yeah yeah..I know." Arthur replied, hugging Sean softly.

I snorted and shook my head, "But, Alfred, I can't hurt you. Me and Arthur...That'd just hurt you more...I'm not gonna do that to you!" I protested, leaving it simple.

Alfred laughed, throwing his arm casually around Riley's shoulder.
"Dude, we could always share him." Alfred suggested jokingly.

Arthur broke off the hug wit a quiver.
"No offense but I..can't hug you..." he said quietly, and Sean snickered.

I smiled and nodded "Yeah, totally, we'll take shifts, you get him on odd days, I get him on even. Then we rotate" I laughed at my silly joke, but maybe that would work? I could never be sure what went on inside Alfred's head. I sighed as we stepped outside, the sun burned my eyes and I doubled back at the sudden burt of light. I'd become so used to the dim litted halls of the hopital, thatnow the sun blinded me. I stumbled a little then regained my balance.

Alfred laughed, catching Riley as she stumbled backwards. Alfred's glasses glinted in the sun, making his eyes nearly impossible to see.
"Riiight, dude. Artie could be like...a toy!"

Arthur was in the hospital for at least another hour. He was in the driver seat of a rental car, and Sean had given him directions on which way his hotel was. Hesitantly, Sean reachedbout and put a finger on Arthur's neck, right behind his ear.
"Sean." Arthur said, not taking his eyes from the road.
"Mhm?" The scot answered.
"what are you doing?"
"Just...feeling your heart beat."

I laughed and nodded, then waved a taxi down. I told him the adress and he drove to Alfred's house "Can I crash here a while?" I asked Alfred, getting out of the car and paying the taxi driver.

Alfred grinned and poked Riley in the side.
"Yeah suuure.." He replied, but then looked at the clock. "Dude, it's a little early to be sleepin'..And Iggy still isn't back.." Alfred mused aloud.

Arthur frowned and pulled into the Hotel's parking lot.
"Okay well..you can make it from here..Sean i suggest you go home." Arthur replied, before driving off.

I arched an eyebrow at him "Yeah, he'll be here soon enough, I'm sure of it" I said, still unsure of what Alfred met by 'It's to early to sleep' I sighed and trudged into his house. I'd always admired Alfred's house, it was cleaner and friendlier than mine ever could be. The walls were light colors that made you feel comfortable, and the energy of the house was always so nice. I sighed contently and looked back at Alfred.

Alfred's parents left a note on the table, and Alfred walked swiftly over and read it out loud.

Alfie,

Your father and I have a business trip, going off to California again Dear!
We'll be sure to write!

Alfred laughed, crumpling it up and tossing it into the trash. Arthur walked into the house, and ran a tired hand through his spiky wheat hair.
