As soon as the gunshot went off warbler was screaming and crying on the floor at Prince's feet. She was hysterical, shaking violently, and screaming something about not hitting her and she promised to be perfect and fix herself from being so terribly bad. She was reciting the words her mother spat at her, and what she was trained to say at every astonishing blow from her father. Mello held Shen and his bottom lip quivered.

Lyric stood and stared at Prince. The gunshots caught her completely off-guard.
"Prince!" she barked. "WHAT was that for?!" she growled and took the gun he had away from him.

Prince let Lyric take the gun from his hand, he'd already fired the entire clip at the wall.
"Warbler," Prince said, picking her up and holding her to where he could look down at her. "Warbler look at me." Once he had sight of her eyes, he continued. "Warbler i don't want you to EVER pick up a gun like that again...Guns are not toys..You could be killed...KILLED, Warbler.." he tried to keep an even tone; he wanted to make a point, not scare the child. "..I don't want to lose you..I care about you way too much to lose you because of some accident Warbler.."

Warbler's bottom lip quivered, and she nodded, sinking her face into Prince's chest. She cried, and kept mumbling apologies. Mello sat still on the couch, looking at the floor shyly. "Im sorry too Prince." He said.

Lyric looked down at Mello and sighed. She plopped down onto the couch beside Mello.

Prince held Warbler tightly, hugging her. "I just don't want you hurt kiddo.." he repeated over and over before setting her down on the couch.

Mello set his chin on Shen's head, and she licked his face happily. Warbler sank into silence, but still had her face buried into Prince's chest.

Lyric facepalmed, thinking about what they were going to say to TJ about the hole in the roof of his house.

After putting Warbler down on the couch, Prince looked up at the whole in the ceiling.
"Hmm.." he mused aloud, contemplating on what to do.

"Thats gonna need a looot of bandaid." Warbler mused, gazing upwards as well. Mello laughed, causing Shen to start rapidly licking his face again.

"Well..what are we gonna tell TJ?" Lyric blurted, looking down deep in thought.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Tue Aug 02, 2011 6:46 pm

"That i blasted a hole in his roof." Prince shrugged. "No big. But i still gotta fix it."

Warbler looked at the two and pulled out a box of bandaids.
"Hold still Prince." She ordered, crawling into his lap. She pulled his head down and put a bandaid on his ear.
"There." She smiled.

Lyric looked over at Warbler like she was dressed in a banana suit, then looked over at Prince.
"Well..what would be your excuse for blasting a hole in the roof?"

Prince looked up at the band-aid on his ear with curiosity. He glanced down at Lyric.
"I'll tell him i was showing the kids how to make fireworks." Prince shrugged. "Remember how i used to blow em up back in the military?" he smirked.
