Zaki smiled and look over at his brother.
"Maybe we can meet em together!" he exclaimed.

"Sure! That's a smart idea Zaki!" he said nudging his brother softly.

Zaki paused.
"A smart idea?" he brightened and wagged his tail furiously. "Really?"

Eligh perked at his brothers sudden happiness.
"Well yeah..."

"Wow," Zaki continued his perky tail wag. "I never said anything smart before..."

"a coure ya have!!" Eligh insisted, refusing to let down his brother.

"You're the only one to think so.." Zaki commented but brightened. "But that's okay."

Eligh laughed and smiled at the sky.
"Well. Those who don't notice how smart you are must be real dumb!" He explained.

"Hey Eligh," Zaki waited for Eligh to look at him. "You're my favorite brother."

Eligh looked down at his paws, trying to hide his reddening face.
"Yeah? You're mine too Zaki, mine too...." he answered scincerley

Zaki held his bright smile as he continued to wag his tail. He looked out at the sky and just watched the flying birds quietly.

ooc: wanna skip to a couple years later, when the pups are older?

ooc: Sure, a year or so is good.

Eligh prodded silently along the worn trail headed towards home, his lips stained with dry blood, a limp in his walk. He made his way into an old familiar cave, smelling of younger years as the wind rippled by. A twig snapped behind him, and he turned nose to nose to Rango.
"Eligh, you've come home...." he stated dryly, his voice whispy with age. Eligh smiled slightly, after being 'missing' for a year and a half, his mind snapped back to his old meanings and promises.
"Where's Zaki?"

It was at that moment Zaki came bounding into view, throwing all his weight into his jump. His skid to a stop when he saw Eligh. He paused and stared wide-eyed at his brother.
