Zathrax listened very intently, he could barely hear Ace and Shadow, not enough to make out the entire conversation, he heard "Pack... Dingo... Feelings... and mother" but out of respect he stopped listening, he had no clue what it meant, "This shadow leigon worries me, I knew them... Better than any of this Pack could ever understand... but I'll kill them all... By myself if need be". he said quietly to himself.

Ace: "It's more than that though...I was an assassin in the legion, the prince of Shadows was my title. I killed many animals, many foes. I was respected...I was feared...I was confused...and I am ashamed that she ever manipulated me so badly. I have tried to escape this...tried to forget her and the legion. The legion was named after my father, Shade who was a deeply respected and wise wolf...he was never aware of the missions of conquest and destuction that Roven sent me and the Shadows on...nor of her murderous heart. Then...one day he found out and ....and she asked me to kill him...I couldn't."
Ace trembles tears running down his face as he takes shuddering breaths.
"So she killed him infront of me...forced me to watch helpless as she destroyed all that he had built and then laid waste to his life, tore him down...tortured him and then when he lay utterly begging for death did she finally kill him. After that I left the legion living alone as well as I could...trying to change my killing instinct...curb it so that I could join a pack. I have enjoyed being with you and the others...I have come to care for this pack...to love the feel of having a cause to live for... I know that you could never return my love for you after this...would never dare to expect anything now that you know the truth but the truth is that I...I love you Shadow. Whatever happens..I must somehow convince the others that facing the legion is out of the question. They are not just a small band of fighters...they were hundreds... probably thousands in number by now."
Kaviir: Settles down beside Zathrax. "You do seem fimilar to me...I feel I know you from somewhere though I can't quite put a paw on where I would know you from."

Ace: Looks at Shadow shyly. "You do?"
Kaviir: "I don't know why they call theirselves the Shadow Legion but I don't think it has anything to do with Shadow. It was an old wolf called Shade that came up with the name although he died. Most outside the legion think that Roven killed him although there is a possiblity that Ace did."

Zathrax: Heard the word "Love" through the tree's but didn't say anything, didn't blush, all that happened was his eyes widened slightly, not talking to anyone, just continuing to Sharpen his claws on the tree, which was growing stedily thinner.

Ace: "Do you...do you love me Shadow?"
Kaviir: "I can't judge why he left the Shadow Legion but it was soon after his father died and even then although he was called the prince of shadows, even though some shivered at the meer mention of his name I think that he was used, hurt and manipulated by his mother. I ran into him back before he found you. We shared a cave during a storm. He just seemed lonely and tired to me. Maybe he wasn't as bad as some of the rumors led most to believe he was. Ace was undoubtably once a killer but perhaps... perhaps there is another side to him...one that just wants to be understood and not judged for Rovens crimes."

Phali: "Hey i'm phali (fh-ailey) A wolf-Dog from the alaskin moutains and i was looking for a home think i can be here? Wait minute, Balto? your here too? You probably don't remember me but i am apart of your family, son of Aniu."

Phali: "When you where seperated from aniu when you where young i was seperated from my father and aniu took care of me untill i was 2 then i went off in the moutains and i could not survive i'm surprise i still even remember you"
