Temple looked at the cages. "What happens to the dogs that they don't want to use here?"

David sighed and said "They'll do what they did to my pack except for my sister and myself. I say I just got my sister killed now because of how I feel for you. You see there is no use for her anymore and they kill the useless canines here." He whimpered sorrowfully and said "I failed my sister. I was to protect her from harm and I failed."

David snorted and said "That's b*******. They kill them off. I've seen enough of the killings of the lesser dogs to know."

"...I heard they went to breeding centers with a stronger dog, to hope they would make more dogs that are stronger."

David shook his head and said "Situations like we are in are the only breeding there is here. Only the strongest of dogs get to breed and the two dogs got to accept each other as mates and once they start having litters they take away the pups and practically make the couple hate each other until one of the dogs kill the other, usually it's the male that kills the female."

David sighed and said "They are dead and if they aren't then they WILL be dead very soon. I am sorry that this has to happen to you too. They like to toy with the alphas of packs until the alphas lose their will and then the humans kill the couple."

Temple sighed, the fire dissapering from her eyes, into the cold, liquid blue of rippling water. "David... will they try breeding us?"

David whimpered and said "Then it would be worse than just not mating or killing them ourselves. I wouldn't wish this life on anyone, especially our pups if we were to have them."
