Kali immediatly stopped laughing, though amusement lingered on her face. She nodded slightly in response, staring at David. He had a confident air about him she had never seen in an ugly before.

It wasn't long before they reached the building where they would supposedly eat. Kali's nose wrinkled; the food smelled rich...way different from the food in the city.
