Jacob smiled and said "Yes, we should." He went over and laid down at a spot separate from where Crystal, Luke, and Cobalt was laying down at.

Jacob uttered the words while he fell asleep "I......love......you.......too."
Cobalt asked lowly enough so that if Crystal was awake, she was the only one who could hear him "Are you still awake, Crystal?"

"Maybe you're afraid you'll have nightmares again." yawned Luke in his sleep, even listening then.

Cobalt perked his ears as high as they could go in pure shock and looked behind him. He turned back and said "That was freaky." He started laughing nervously.

"He's an attentive pup, that's for sure." said Crystal, smiling. "He may be right."

Cobalt calmed down and said "He is an attentive pup but he's not right. I can't stop thinking about something."

Cobalt looked into Crystal's eyes and said extremely sadly "Well, Crystal.....I can't stop thinking that this is a dream and if I go to bed then you won't be here when I wake up. I don't want that to happen." He looked down and shook his head. He looked at Luke and seen that he wasn't against him anymore. He got up and sat at the entrance of the cave. He looked out and sniffed the air, smelling the scent of the night. He always liked the night. He looked back at Crystal and left the cave. He went back to the river and laid down. He looked at his reflection in the water.

Luke walked up beside him. "There's an easy way to tell if its a dream." he said.

Luke spashed him in the face with freezing cold water. "Are you awake?" he asked, smiling mischeviously.
