"Chill, Silversnow. We're safe." Nightstar commented nonchalantly. A few more wolves where gathering in the den, staring strangely at Ohzu, but making no comments. As Nightstar had predicted, the where fleeing the storm.

"I am totally calm," Silversnow said, near the back of the den, most of her hidden by shadows.

Nightstar chuckled. "I didn't say "calm down", I said "chill". I meant for you to not be so scared of the storm! And before you tell me you're not, why are you cowering in the back of the den?" She asked, an amused glint in her eye.

"Cause I like it back here?" Silversnow said, her excuse sounding pathetic to even her.

Nighstar, Ohzu and a few other wolves giggled at this, Daystar laughing loudly. Noticing Silversnow's sheepish expression, Nightstar stopped laughing. "Sorry, Silversnow," She apologized, "We just find it...amusing...that you you back away from just a little rain!"

A loud crack of thunder roare through the air, followed by a bright bolt of lightening. "It's not a little rain," she said, the rain pouring down in torrents outside.

"Chill," Nighstar repeated, staring outside. "We're in the den, right? We'll be fine," She insisted.

"Sure, whatever you say," Silversnow said, unconcvinced. SHe couldn't help it, she was just terrified at storms.

Nightstar breathed deeply. A shiver ran through her, showing slightly on the outside. "Cold?" Ohzu asked, moving closer to the white she-wolf. "No," Nightstar said under her breath, not wanting to miss the comforting warmth radiating off Ohzu's thick brown pelt. She subconsciously moved closer to the Hunter, tracing his tail with hers.

Silversnow watched them, suddenly feeling a pang of lonliness. If only David had followed Ohzu. she thought wistfully.

Ohzu blinked in surprise at what the Fighter was doing, but then he decided to go with it. Slowly, he leaned his head forward so it brushed against Nightstar's.
Nighstar blinked rapidly a few times. Then she inched closer to Ohzu, placing a paw on his. She hesitated a moment, then slowly, tentatively, licked his face.
Ohzu was again surprised, but his brain adjusted quickly and she licked Nightstar's nose. The two stared at each other, totally forgetting that the den was crowded with the other Fighters. The didn't even realize what they where doing; the young wolves where lost in the depths of each other's eyes.

Silversnow pointedly looked away, leaving them too their moment while other wolves were surprised, some stifling snickers.

Nightstar caught a snicker and twitched her ear, realizing what she was doing quickly. She drew back from Ohzu. Both wolves had an embarrassed expression painted over their faces.

Silversnow peeked a look with her green eyes, releived to see it was over. She turned back around, hiding the grin on her face.

Nighstar turned to her friend. Seeing the silver wolf's amused expression, she drew back her ears and narrowed her eyes. "What's so funny?" She spat.
