As the surface underneath Nica fell she thought she was going to end her life then. But she felt Balto pull her. "Yah, I'm fine" she said. She saw a thick wood stuck out from the house. Only two inches away. She set a paw on it and pushed down, hard. It was sturdy. She hauled herself up there and played catch the tail with the dogs again.

One of the dogs was the brother of Ricky. His name was Rocky. He nipped the air only a centimeter away from Nica's tail. "You're lucky cat! If he wasn't there to save you, you'd be my lunch!" He barked at her. His friends snapped at her tail, furious.

She laughed and pulled her tail back up. "We better go now. One of these dogs might find out how to get up here." She laughed and ran to the top of the roof and stared out into the open sky.

Jenna barked from underneath them. "Balto? Come here" She said friendly. She felt liek talking to her new friend. She settled herself in a sitting postion, her warm fur sheilding the cold from the snow.

Ooc: Can Nica's wish to fly be how Balto wanted to fly as well?

OOC: Sure.

Balto smiled and looked down at Jenna. "Hello Jenna, how are you?" he asked, happy to talk to her. Jenna was his best friend sense Flash died, Nica was more like his daughter than a friend, which was fine with both of them, Rosy was also nice to him, she'd say hi and maybe throw him a bone every once in awhile, which was a lot more than most people did. He looked to Nica. "What's on your mind?"

Balto cuckled. "No, its my birthday." he said, smiling.

Cliche chuckled. "Well actuelly I used to be a dog named Ricky." he said. "But I died saving Steele from his rabid father." he said. "I was actuelly hoping to be his spirit guide, I care about him, I know Steele is a jerk sometimes but he's had it rough, his dad was one of the worst dogs in Alaska, maybe the world, you are what you live or so they say."

OOC: I was actuelly about to ask you if Cliche could of been Ricky...weird *plays twlight zone music.* lol

Ooc: When ever this RP is over, do want to do a RP about Balto 4 whenever Balto and Nica meet again? I have this idea where she moves to the forest in Nevada in the end of this. But she returns with a whole clan? A Hero's Youth: Part II

"She seems to have a high spirit." Jenna said. "The world's just a huge playgroud in her eyes" Jenna curled up and heard Rosy calling. "I must go now Balto, have a happy CoBirth Day!" She barked as she raced away towards her home.

Nica stared into the Clouds. She wished she had known her parents. Why would they just leave me? Nica asked herself.

Balto nodded and watch Jenna go. He saw Rosy wave to him and smiled. He watched for the sled teams to return.

Cliche watched Steele, he remembered that Steele had a rough life and when he was Ricky, Cliche had been a suraget father figure for him but he couldn't remember anything but what he had been thinking of in his last moments of life.

OOC: Sounds cool, though it wouldn't be a Hero's Youth two because it wouldn't be...well a hero's youth if Balto's an adult.

Ooc: You could chagne the title's to A Hero's Days?

Nica continued to star into the sky. Deep in thought. The sun began to set behind a house's tip. She sighed and her eyes drifted towards the sled teams finish line.

Steele pulled the sled and dragged Star behind him. He tugged past the finish line and gloated his victory before catching his breath.

Balto watched as the prize collar was put around Steele's neck. He went to Nica and nuzzled her. "Come on, I've got something I want you to see before we go to the boat." he said, wanting to sneak off while Steele was gloating so he wouldn't have to worry about being inturpted by him while he showed Nica something.

Nickie watch Steele get the collar. "Looks good on you boss."

OOC: We'll think of something, requesting a Kaltag and Star gag.
