"But what if we don't, Dad?" Kodi asked with concern.
"Right. OCming," Kirby said. He walked over and laid by the mushers head.
Saba smiled.
Rose looked out the window. "Its getting dark," she said.
"Okay," Muk said as Luk nodded his head. Muk grabbed the lantern and hurried to his spot. Luk cleared his throat as he got ready. Muk flicked on the lantern and stood up and hind legs the same time Luk let out a large roar.

Balto gave Kodi a stern look. "Don't think like that, that's quiter talk." he said. "We can't think about that, if we do, we'll doubt ourselves and if we do that, we'll lose hope."
Fang nodded. "That should keep him warm."
Jenna smirked as she reconized the roar. "Luk." she said softly.
Jarret peaked out the door and saw the shadow. He dashed in and slammed the door shut. "Everyone, be quiet, there is a bear outside." he said. "Squirt, go make sure the dogs are quiet." he said to Dan.
Boris snuck around towards the back.

Kodi said and laid down.
"I hope he'll be alright," May said.
"I didn't know he could roar," Rose said quietly.
Dan bowed his head and hurried to the dogs. "Shut up," he said to them. "There's a bear outside if you didn't notice."

Balto nuzzled Kodi. "We'll get home, I'm sorry for snapping, I'm just having trouble taking not being able to run, it makes me stressed."
Fang nodded. "Me too, he's always been a good musher."
"We know, he's our friend, nows our chance to get away." said Jenna, pushing the door open gentally.
Boris slipped through the open window. He looked at Dan and was about to say something when Miki covered his mouth.
"He's our friend." Miki whispered to Boris. She looked to Dan. "This is our...uncle Boris."

Dan looked at them curiously. "Whatever. Just hurry and be quiet. If there's any noise, I'll get blamed for it."
Rose walked and stood by Boris.
"Thanks for your help," Dan," Saba said with a sweet smile.

Sable looked the Musher over. "He's got a concussion, otherwise, he's perfectly fine."

Mel walked into the post office. "I've searched everywhere, Dipsey," he said. "They're just not here."
"Oh keep your fur on," Dipsy said. "I'm sure they're around her somewhere. Probably hiding from you," added under breath.
"He's probably figured out something's wrong by now," Kodi said.
May nodded her head, then a thought came to her mind. "Even if we are found, how are we gonna get back up that hill?"
"I better not," Dan said. "If I don't get back up there after that bear goes, they'll come lookin' for us."

Balto chuckled. "In that dog's world, something is ALWAYS wrong." he said.
"The sled is still good enough to work." said Dusty. "We can carry Balto and the Musher up it with help from the rescuers."
Jenna nodded. "Alright but just so you know, we're going to block the door so they can't chase us for awhile." she said. "Also, how do you get the wolverine musk off?" she said, putting her paw over her nose.

"Where are they," Mel asked, starting pass. "I bet they went for a run for celebration. They'll probably all in the belly of a bear by now."
"What lucky dog," Dipsy said. AT least they weren't having to listen to a worried old dog. "Dont' worry Mel. They. Are. Fine."
"So how many times do you think he's searched town for us?" Kodi asked.
"But how are any of us going to get up?," May asked. "Its steep and icy."
"It's not much different from a skunk's," Dan said.

Balto thought about it. "19...maybe 20 times." he said.
"This revene goes all the way back to where we fell behind, if we follow it back, there's bound to be a path or easier area back up, they wouldn't of put the trail near it otherwise." said Fang.
Jenna groaned. "Oh great, that's great, tomatoe juice will be involved." she said. She, Miki, and Boris went out the window and waited for the other pups.

Rose followed the other three out.
"Well, if you're sure your not coming..." Saba said to Dan. He shook his head. "I guess we're off." She lept out the window.

Fang nuzzled May. "We'll get out of this, don't let it beat you."
Jenna looked back at Dan. "Thank you." she said. She snuck around front and proped a tree limb up against the door to keep the Wolverines from getting out. She went around back and repeated it.
Boris smiled at Miki, Rose, and Saba. "I am glad you are being in one piece." he said, being a bird, he had very little sense of smell so the wolverine musk didn't bother him.

"Oh yeah," Kodi said. "I guess that kinda slipped my mind after being in here for so long."
"Don't worry. I won't," May said, nuzzling him back.
Dan laid on the floor, waiting for the bears to leave so he could go back up stairs.
"I'm just glad to be out of that cage," Rose said, stretching her paws out in fornt of her.
