"I'll do it." Winterfall padded to Luke. "Some on help me get him on my back." Yunfly trotted up and helped. "Thaks," Winterfall breathed. His eyes met hers and he looked away. He could never be with her. they were opposites. He was doomed to running without looking back.

"Let's go," Flower said before trotting out of the den.
Mara followed close behind Winter as the pack moved out of the den. "Winterfall," Mara said to the wolf infront of her. "Why are we leaving?"
Midnight could not fall asleep. He needed to find his pack and tell them he was alright. "Is there a pack near by?" he asked Sunset who had been standing guard near the entrance.
"There was," she said in her airy voice. "But they just left."
Silver followed behind Forestlight. She didn't want to be on this hunt for the murderer, but she was here anyways. She sighed.

Jade sighed. "Please tell me you've found my little boy's trail." she said crying. "I'm worried sick about him, I know you're scared for your sister so you're worried too but my pup is all I have left." she said, worried sick.
Luke licked Yunfly then Winter. "Yeah, why?"

"I- uh- made some enemies once," Winterfall sighed. "It's a long story. what do you mean, Luke?"
"Kira, this way!" Wanderer led Kira out of the den.
Landstruck sniffed the air. Nothing. Sudennly, teh smell a dog hit his nose. He ran towards teh scent and saw a female golden retriever and a couple of timber wolves. "Have you seen a white wolf?" he asked, trotting to them.

"They're leaving!" Midnight got up but collapsed agian instantly.
"Midnight, you have to take it easy." Sunset said not looking back from the pack. "Why do you care about your back anymore anyway. They left in quiet a hurry. It's clear they don't care that you nearly died. Who found you?" SHe looked at Midnight. "Me or them?" There was short pause before hse continued. "So who do you think cares about you more?"

Jade turned to Landstruck. "No we haven't, we're looking for my puppy and their sister." she said, serious. She could tell he was worried about this wolf. "Maybe this wolf is with them."
"I was just asking same as Mara." said Luke with a little smirk. "I'm a little scared Winter, should I?"

Josh shrugged. "I don't know," he replied. "But I know he's one of these scents that's probebly mingled with Kira's." He then looked up. "Anything Kita?"
Kita slowly nodded, looking out into the distance. "I think I already found them," she said. She then turned to the wolf that had called out to them.
Josh's eyes widened. "Say what?!" he cried, looking around to see the small pack.
Kira got up and quickly followed after the others. She sighed heavily, saying, "Please don't tell me it's those dogs again. I hate those freaks!"

Winterfall sighed. "I wish I could say, 'Don't be scared. Ther's nothign to worry about' but I can't. The truth is these are scary wolves we're dealing with."
"Winterfall, youi're one of my best friends but I have ot tell you, we ahve to know." Wanderer looked expectantly at his friend. Then he saw the new comers. "Who are they?"
"Winterfall!" Landstruck raced to Winterfall. "I've been searchign for you."
Winterfall bared his teeth. "Come near my pack and you'll die and don't give me that 'you're a killer' junk!"

Jade went over to Josh. "Josh I see Luke but I don't know how to tell him that...that his papa is dead." she whispered, a tear rolling down her face.
Luke nodded. He sniffed the air and smiled. "Winter, I smell my momma, she's around her, my momma is around here." he said, joyfully.

Kira smiled happily when she saw the other wolves. "Josh, Kita!" she called out, spotting her siblings.
Josh smiled back as he and Kita rushed over to meet their youngest sister. "Kira!" Josh cried out. "It's good to see you, again!!"
"Hey there," Kita said, nuzzling Kira. "We really missed you!"
"I missed you too," Kira replied, nuzzling her sister back. "Oh my gosh, it's so great to see you guys again!"

Luke looked at Jade and barked happly. "Momma!" he squelled.
Jade's eyes filled with tears of joy and she nuzzled her baby. "Luke! Oh I was so worried." she said. She looked at Winter. "Thank you for taking care of my baby." she said and licked him on the cheek.
"Momma, where's papa?" asked Luke.
Jade gulped. She looked at Winter, her eyes telling him that Luke's father was dead.

Winterfall sighed. All the pain and misery. While he ha dbeen hanging out wiht Luke, he had wanted to sheild him from it but it was in vain. Maybe he could still make a diffrence though.
