Kisasi hauled himself off the floor, being as quiet as he could. He maneuvered his way in between the many lions, making sure not to step on any of their tails. He finally made it to the entrance and drank in the fresh night air as well as Hatima's scent. "Let's go," He said to Hatima.

"Yeah I heard it." Kisasi said. He signaled for both the lionesses to be quiet and stay there as he crept towards the bushes. He stopped a few feet in front of them when he saw them rustle again. A low growl started in his throat.

Kisasi woke up and gazed at Hatima through the shadows. "What's wrong?" Kisasi asked, fearing that they were in danger. He looked over at Karani to see her still asleep.
