"In this?!" Sydney demanded, motioning to her pajamas.
"Hah. No thanks."

Scotty laughed "Adam goes to school in his PJs-"

"No I don't!"

"Alright, Alright... We'll see ya in PE then." Scotty laughed, PE was the only class that Scotty, Adam, Sydney, and Leann all had together.

"Sure sure." Sydney replied, going off to get dressed.

The boys hurried out to Scotty's car and soon drove off for school.

Rusty went sneaking down the stairs and jumped up onto the couch, with out a sound.

Once dressed and fed, Sydney hopped in her own car and began the long boring ride to school.

Scotty was putting his book in his locker, not paying much attention to the rest of the world around him, until Adam came over.

"How was tutoring?" Scotty smirked.

"Boring..." Adam muttered "...Did you know you're not allowed to update Facebook in tutoring?"

"Yes...?" Scotty grinned.

"...Oh! Well I didn't, so Mrs. Williams took my phone away!..."

Sydney's day droned by slowly, without a single sighting of hope (thankfully).

Adam and Scotty stood at their lockers just before PE class was about to start, Adam chattered on, as the red-head usually did. Scotty however, stood solomly, Not even noticing a few girls who passed and giggled. His green eyes seemed intent, but could also be seen as filled with thought. Adam fell silent and Scotty gazed over at the hall. Leann came walking with her EX, Jasper Durman, and his goons. They were her 'friends'. In school they where her click, simply because she wasn't confident enough, to admit that she knew Adam and Scotty. Even though she was pretty, thin, fair skinned, with shoulder length sandy brown hair and dark blue eyes. But it was frowned upon for anyone under a girl who played sports to admit that they knew these guys, cheerleaders could always say they knew them, but athletic girls also could have crushes on them. One of Jasper's goons smacked the other, only to get shoved away. He fell into Leann and tripped her up. She didn't fall though, Scotty quickly sprang forward and caught her, that notion earned him curious glances from everyone in the hall.

Leann opened her eyes slowly, she had braced herself for the impact of the bone jarring tile floor. However she found herself gripping Scotty, by the collar of his shirt. She slowly lifted his head, from where she had buried her face in his shoulder. She blinked up at him, a blush coming across her face.

"Be...um... Careful next time." Scotty said casually as he helped her stand. Leann nodded quickly, still blushing. Neither of the teens noticed, Jasper's wicked glare... and neither would've wanted to.

Sydney looked down the hall at the scene, and she huffed, seeming to be the only one who noticed the deat glare. She trotted over, grabbing Scotty and Adam's arms and began pulling them off.
"Sorry Lee..." She muttered, once they were a safe distance.
"The heck was that Scotty?!"

"I-I-I-I dunno! I didn't mean to do it!" Scotty replied.

"Awww!" Adam sang and Scotty glared at him.

"Don't even understand you two.." Sydney grumbled, letting go of the two boys.

"I think it's sweet Scotty!" Adam teased.

"Shut up, Adam!"

"Although I betcha' Jasper won't be to happy about it!" Adam continued.

"Adam...!" Scotty snarled and his friend finally silenced.

"Hey hey Scotty, come-on he's just teasin'!" Syney sai with a laugh.

Scotty huffed "Wish I'd just let her fall..."

"No you don't!" Adam grinned but was ignored.

"you two'd make a cute couple!" Sydney hummed, matching Adam's grin.
