I watched in horror as Alfred exploded and ran upstairs. Everything was going so perfectly...I shook a little, my fragile world tumbling down, down, down...Everything was spinning, every noise hurt. I fumbled, trying to grab Alfred as he ran upstairs, but I missed and fell to my knees. I was in a fish glass, just looking in on a world that didn't belong to me, I did't belong with Arthur, I didn't belong to anyone. My knees screamed as I struggled to my feet, and I stood for a moment. My shoulders slummped, my hip popped out. I looked up the stairs, thinking. Then I thought of the baby agian. What if he'd have became a rebellious teenager who faught with me and would always run up to his room? What if I pased outside his door, begging an apology and coaxing him out with a platter of chocolate milk and cookies. And he'd come in my arms and cry about the party he wouldn't be able to attend, or the drugs he was so pressured into trying. I'd tell him it would be okay, that I forgave him, that he was still my preciouse little gift. He'd look at me, the spitting image of Arthur, and smile...I felt a tear run down my cheek. What if... My knees buckled and I fell slightly, but recovered myself. I needed Arthur, right now. Too much evil in this world, too much death. Too much hate and depression, but depression is all I have left... I thought, a poem just coming to me. I faltered, frozen in my spot, wanting Arthur to just wrap me up in his arms and tell me that everything was okay.

Arthur couldn't move though. He simply stood, staring at the ground.
"I-" he said quietly, his voice faltering. "God da**it I just need to die!" he added. Sitting down on the couch and burying his face in his hands. Whydid it always come down to a choice? Arthur thought, then he frowned. I always chose Riley..I never..showed Alfred any kind of affection.. Arthur sighed say, ad stood. He scooped up Riley in his arms and ped her over to the couch.
"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry.." he muttered, burying his head in her shoulder.

I frowned and shook my head "I-It's okay, I-I...When you were passed out on the couch a few months ago...I told Alfred that he could have you, that I didn't want to hurt him anymore...I guess I broke my promise..." I whispered, feeling myself tremble a little.

Arthur choked back a sob, shaking.
"God I'm such a bad person..." he whimpered, then standing.
"I-I need to talk to him." he said, before beginning to go upstairs. He pause halfway up though, then motioned for Riley to come over. There was soft music playing.
"What hurts the most..is being so close, and having so much to say, and watching you walk away. And neve knowin' what could've been, an seeing that loving you..was the right..thing..to do. Alfreds voice hummed quietly, bringing more ters to Arthur's eyes.

I frowned as Arthur went halfway up the stairs then motioned me over. I sighed and got up, quietly making my way up the stairs and listening to Alfred's quiet singing. I brushed up against Arthur then wavered, I needed to let Arthur go. I knew Arthur had chosen me, and I loved him more than I'd ever loved someone in my entire life. But what I was doing wasn't fair to Alfred. I took a deep breath and then looked at Arthur. My face was cold and hard, almost no emotion on it with the exeption of the tears in my eyes.
"A-arthur...I love you...So much...But...I can't hurt Alfred and...I don't know, us being together...That'd make him worse...I don't think that...We shoulde be...together, anymore..." My world, all ready as fragile as it was, was crashing down agian. I was letting him go, but he didn't want to be let go. How could I let him go? I couldn't, simple as that. I made a small noice in the back of my throat and hugged him tightly then looked up the stairs.
"Go, go talk to Alfred and set things to the way they should've been if I never showed up at your door" I said, my voice a tad bit stronger. I faltered, kissed my love on the cheek, then went downstairs to leave.

Arthur hung his head in shame, and continued walking up the stairs, and knocked softly in the door.
"Alfred?" he asked, and then heard the music stop. The American opened the door hastily, and frowned.
"what?" he demanded, an Arthur entered his room, shutting the door quietly behind him.

I looked up the stairs and felt the wind rush out of me, if I'd stayed there any longer I'd of broken down sobbing. So I shouldered my jacked and left Alfred's house. It was cold, there was snow that was falling. I looked at the crystals and my frowned deepened, it was cold here...Just like in England...I'd probably never go back now that I was home and Arthur and Alfred were 'together' I guess. I began walking slowly at first, then took off sprinting. I turned a corner and ran into a familiar figure...Sean.

Sean was genuinely surprised, to run into Riley. His shoulder was bleeding badly, and his blue-green eyes shocked with terror. He gulped, stammering backwards.
"Riley..you've got to help me." he stuttered, eyes pleading for mercy.

Arthur and Alfre talked fo a while, all too many awkward silences joined in their conversation. Once Arthur announced he was leaving, Alfred let him out, and Arthur went off to find Riley.

I snarled at him, my knuckles turning white "No! Why the h*ll would I f*ckin' help you?! Let's see, you've r*ped my boyfriend, stabbed him, broke into his house, stabbed him agian, you killed my baby, made his and my life hell...No I'm not helping you, in fact, I'm calling the cops, right now!" I growled. Then looked behind him too see a gang, blood on one of the gang memeber's knife. I gulped, my hands shook, that's when I realized I'd left my phone at Alfred's house.
"Hey! Look at this white trash!" An african-american man spoke to me, his upper lip in a scowl. "What're you doing in my territory?! huh?!" He growled, walking closer to me and flashing the knife around my throat. I glared daggers at him, I was used to gangs, growing up with them around me and all. My glare made him waver, my message a lie, but clear However bad you think you are, I'm worse The kid, no older than 17, around Sean's age, faltered and took a step back. I snarled at him then grabbed Sean by the arm and took off.
I can't believe I'm helping him... I thought sadly, rounding a corned and glaring even harder at Sean.
"Can't take New York can you, a**hole" I spat, blocking his way for escape, this was the man that killed little A.J, this was the man I hated.

Sean winced at Riley's words, but practically shook at the sight of the gang. He almost fell when Riley tugged him away, and began jogging unsteadily after her.

Arthur walked down the road, and looked around for Riley, going the opposite direction before running into another gang.
"Hey," a member growled, probably about twenty or so. Arthur glared, and got ready o see if they were going to attack.
"Bugger off~" He snarled, an the other man threw the first punch. Arthu dodge I easily, and hit him back, sending the man sprawling. Arthur quickly jogged back to the house, and slamme the door behind him.
"I hate new York.." he grumbled.

I continued to glare at him, then jabbed a finger into his chest and started yelling and ranting and cursing at him "You know, you have some b*lls to be here right now! You're stupid if you thought that the gangs would help you or whatever, they don't like outsiders, especially if your from another country. If you plan on living in this d*mned city then i'd advise you to keep your nose in your own buisness! Why were you there anyways? Trying to act tough you little b*tard, don't you have high school or something? God, you're so horrible, I can't believe I even helped you! Why did I help you?! Gah! How bad it the cut?"- I asked, with a moment of concern, then wavered and spat-"Wait, I. Don't. Care. You're all ready skr*wed Sean, if you go to the hospital then they're gonna want registration, and you're not an American citizen, plus you are wanted into England. If you don't go to the hospital, you're still skr*wed, you'll bleed out, or that cut'll get infected, it's all ready started to snow so I advise you find someplace warm and try not to r*pe whoever lives there." I glared at him agian.

Sean winced as Riley poked him in te chest. He whimpered slightly, and looked aroun for the gang.
"No, lass, I wasn't looking for help from them." he snapped, resembling Arthur greatly. "I was going back to my hotel after stopping by a wee little diner, and then they jumped me." his blue-green eyes flashed with pain as his cut gradually stopped bleeding.
"And I do not deserve your help but I'm begging you, please, I need to..." his voice traile off and Sean's breath hitched.
"To.." he muttered, before promptly falling out into Riley's arms.

Ithought he was attacking me when he fell into me. I doubled back but caught him slightly, he was too heavy for me so I leaned him agianst the alley way and shivered. I looked around frantically, I didn't have a phone, or anything. I couldn't call for help, and frankly I didn't want to. I looked at him, his limp body up agianst the wall and pondered my options. Dragging him around would look to suspicious, getting Arthur? out of the question. I huffed and walked out of the alley way and to a pay phone, I popped in a few quarters and dailed 911. They were soon on their way, I walked back to the alley way and squated next to Sean. "I called an ambulance, I'm taking you too a hospital." I murmered, though I knew he was out cold.

Sean stirred, twitching ightly at Riley's words. He woke in a hospital, IVs down his arm. He looked frantically around, for anyone he knew, until he saw Riley.
"I-Riley what am I doing here? I could get..arrested.." his voice traile off quietly and he looked down at his hands. That had been her plan, he thought sadly.
"So where are the Police?" he snapped, for a moment looking identical to Arthur.

I squinted at him and frowned as he awoke "You're not going to jail...You're still a minor so you don't have an I.D. I told them you were my brother." I flashed a glare at him, hating his so much. I wanted to watch him rot in jail, but that wasn't like me, I was too nice to send someone off the their death. No matter how much I hated him, I couldn't do it.
