Balto:
He ran to the far corner of the cage. I'm so glad you two are okay! He opened the latch for them and Bill came outside, grabbed Aleu and gave her a makeover too. She looked like Jenna now.

Jenna smiled and looked at her daughter, then at Balto, "You guys look great.. not that you didn't look good before, in your wolf pelts, I'm just saying that you look good as dogs too... I'm so glad your both here and safe." she said, grinning happily at them.

Aleu:
Mom, I don't really think this color goes good with my eyes. She teased and smiled. She hugged her mother and father. She got a collar, tags, her shots, and a certified sled dog certificate.

Jenna wagged her tail and walked to the gate, looking out over the street, "I wonder when we'll have our first run as sled dogs together..." she said to herself and them, she honestly couldn't wait, she was full of energy.

Balto: Isn't that today? He looked around. I guess not, nothing is set up. Bill rushed outside with a huge grin.

Jenna barked and wagged her tail, she jumped against the fence, watching Bill, her eyes shining, "Maybe it is today!" she exclaimed, looking back at Balto and Aleu, she grinned and faced her master again.

Bill:
Jenna, gets your running paws ready. Your going to be in a race against Steele today. Winner gets a trophy and $10,000! C'mon Jenna, you gotta win this for me girl. He smiled. It was almost christmas and he had no money for Rosey's presents.

Jenna bounced around the cage, all exited and happy, when he opened the kennel door she jumped on him and he fell, she licked his face and ran in a few circles, she grinned at Balto and barked.

Bill:
He smiled and stood up. He brought Jenna to the starting line. Steele was standing next to her bouncing all around and barking with excitment. Steele didn't care about Jenna, he was to focused on winning.

"hi!" Jenna exclaimed, she looked at Steele, and looked at the finish, she focused, she held her energy and got ready to direct it to the race.

Steele: Hey Jenna. He smiled. He got fixed the day before and he was calm as a cucumber. He relaxed and just enjoyed the race. May the best dog win. He grinned and when the gun went off he shot off at his full speed. He let Jenna be about 2 inches ahead of him.

Jenna grinned and burst, her heart pounded, adrenaline pumped through her, the thrill of the race sunk in. She has always enjoyed it. She breathed heavily, but it wasn't all that hard of a run.

Steele:
He shook his head and saw Jenna was ahead. He bursted into speed and when they crossed the finish line it was a tie. Each owner got $5,000 dollars.
