Warbler screamed, and clung tightly to the gun, refusing to let go. "WARBLER!!!???" Mello cried, jumping up to reach her. Shen barked loudly, and Jumped up on the couch.

Lyric walked into the house, then noticed what was going on.
"Warbler!" she shouted and ran over to the couch.

Prince was beside Lyric and looking up at Warbler. Despite how he felt inside he seemed calm and collected on the outside.
"Warbler." he stated, putting his hands in his pockets. "What are you doing..?"

Shen barked louder at the sound of another car door shutting outside, and Warbler began to cry. "We were playing!!" she sobbed, still clinging to the gun.

"Playing...with. Guns?" Lyric sighed. "Really? NEVER play with a gun, Warbler.." she moved under where Warbler was. "Let's..figure out how to getcha down.." she looked up at her, thinking.

Prince moved next to the couch, taking his hands out of his pockets.
"Alright." Prince said, coming up with his own plans. "Warbs let go. I'mma catch ya."

"We were playing War...." she whined, looking Down at her parents. She glanced nervously at Prince's hands, and then let go, plopping precisely into Prince's arms.

Lyric's heart jumped for that quick second, then she relaxed and sat on the couch.

"Playing war huh?" Prince asked, keeping calm as he caught Warbler neatly in his arms and sat her on the couch. "Sit down. Mello. You sit too." Prince moved about and put the various weapons they pulled out on the table and stood in front of it.

The kids sat down, both suddenly silent and looking nervous. Warbler petted Shen, and the dog licked her hand.

Lyric leaned back on the couch, watching Prince. She knew he would say something about it.

Prince picked up one of the guns and started fingering it calmly.
"So. Let me get this right." He stated. "You find a bunch of weapons...you take em alll out...and you start to play war with them? You play with thee..these guns?" He took his eyes from the gun and looked at the kids. "That right?"

Warbler looked at her lap. "Well....yes Daddy..." She said, terrified of him yelling at them. She felt as if she was back at her old house, about to get her beating of the night.

Lyric watched Prince carefully, wondering his next move.

"Do you know what guns are used for?" he seemed to wait for an answer, but he continued before either one could answer. "DO. You know what the many uses of guns are? Do you know what they lead to?" he drilled the questions then continued. "And you were...playing with them?"
With one fluid and quick motion Prince fired the gun he was hold at the wall across from the couch. At the first shot Shen crept down onto Warbler's lap. He fired the entire cartridge, pelting the now-dented wall with bullets, before turning back to Mello and Warbler.
"Guns KILL people," Prince said with heavy authority to his voice. "They MURDER, they KILL, they HURT whoever HOLDS them!"
