Prince layed down on the ground.
"I'm too achy to do much," he said. "You go ahead."

Warbler huffed, laying down beside him.
"Yeah but....Im too laaaazy. So i'll stay here." She said.

Prince chuckled and lay his head down. He let the air grow silent, before flicking his ear, picking up the sound of faint pawsteps.

Warbler perked too, looking in the direction. "Is it...Princey...?" Warbler whispered, hiding Iggy away quickly.

Prince raised his head.
"Paws are too small," he could explain just from just hearing the pawsteps. "They're young."

A smile spread across Warbler's face.
"A friend? Could i play with him Prince?" She asked, thumping her tail excitedly.

Prince's nose twitched, taking in the scent of the canine, making sure it wasn't some older canine.
"Hmm...yea he's about your age," Prince said. "Just be nice. He's not from around here. I can smell it."

Warbler panted happily, and thumped her tail more.
"Okay!! What if he's mean though....?" She asked, cocking her head.

"Then run," Prince said, then laughed. "No i'm kidding, call me and i'll come over. But hope for the best."

Warbler looked at him happily.
"Okay I will!!" She said standing shaking out her fur.

"Well run along and have fun," Prince said, putting his head on the ground. "I have my ears perked for you if you need me."

"Okay!!" Warbler said, running off. She soon tracked down the wolf and trotted up to him.
"Hi!" She greeted him happily, wagging her tail.

The wolf she encountered was young, not much older then her and he was instantly on the alert when she came into view. He froze and stood completely still, unaware of what to do about the stranger.
"Who are you?" he barked, seemingly with much confidence.

Warbler jumped back slightly, but then shook out her fur and smiled.
"I'm Warbler, what's your name?" She asked politely with a flick of her tail.

The male's ears folded back. "Duke.." he stated. "Do you...live here..?" he tilted his head.
