The pup smiled kindly, watching the woman put the cllar on little Steele. "They loved you more than anything. Love doesn't die, but takes new forms. You thought it was a girl from here, but you were wrong, huh?"

Belladonna gagged, looking ill. "Please, I pity the poor girl that could care about him. And we're not done about his parents... What his weight pushed them off balance?" she said, hating herself just a little bit.


Anabelle nodded, flashing Denali a smile. "Yes. Because of his good deeds, he could very well be taken to Heaven by me."


OOC: Sorry about taking so long, our Internet was not paid, so I couldn't reply.

OOC: Understood, it happens.

Steele looked guilty. "Is that true?" he asked. "Was it my fault?" he asked, tears going down his face.

"It's a strong possibility, you were to one side of the cargo, so it's very possible you were the cause." said Sakak, feeling rotten, but able to hide it.

"I thought they good guys, why they so mean?" asked Kenai.

"Yes, it was cruel of them, but remember, their job was to be as hard on Steele as possible," said Lenatei. "You see, pups, Steele had all sorts of paths he could take, but those two were meant to be the temptation that Steele would face to return to his old ways or get worse, by facing and overcoming that, he became a better dog," she explained. "Oh! Oops, forgot you're pups. Temptations things that make you want to do or have something. Now there are good temptations, like ones that make you want to do something good, but there are bad temptations that make you want to do bad things, as part of the test, Sakak and Belladonna were supposed to tempt Steele to do bad things to strengthen his character."

The pup looked shocked, ears going down flat. "No, of course not!!!" she said, eyes blazing. It looked like, even pretending they went too far. "How could one pup make a difference? If no one else noticed, the sled hit ice. It would have happened anyway. There was n way of avoiding it." she said, feeling rotten for having to say it.

Belladonna scoffed. "Please. If that's true then you blame the musher. Who works on Christmas?"
Anabelle nodded. "Right. Although I have to say they did very well for their first time. But don't be fooled, they're jst retending to be mean."

The pup smled wide, eyes dancing happily. "Thats not entirely true, is it? There was someone else who made you enjoy the holidays. And she was a light in your life. You remember, it was after you left Nome." she said, the scene before them vanished, replaced with a Christmas draped town, an adult Steele skulking about. "This was the same year your first son was born. This is years after your first Christmas, and you forgot how good this one was." she said, watching a softly colored female dog, a gentle gray-brown color, about to bump into him. "You remeber her?"


Belladonna shook her head. "This is all so sappy... Like you said, Christmas is a rather awful holiday, I can tell from the way you look you still hate it."

The pup smiled softly, and all around them began to flash images of Steele and Sable, and eventually Fang, when he was litle. "This family was a good one, I can only show you little bits, but there was so much love... And then," the pictures stopped, replaced with the day Steele drove both Sable and Fang away. Then, pictures of Cain. "You're razing him the wrong way, he'll end up like you." she said sadly. "And your other son is suffering after what you did, because you're his Father. This isn't supposed to happen."


Belladonna sighed, looking irritated. "Well, he can't change anything now can he? Fang and Sable prbably hate his guts by now."

Belladonna shrugged, looking extremely uncaring. "Bad for ou, great for us."

The pup looked away eyes to the ground. "My powers only extend to who you were... My time grows short." she told him, ears down. "Remember this: blood has nothing to do with who you are as an individual."

Anabelle chuckled and gave a nod. "I believe it. She was always melodramaic."

The pup nodded and rturned them to the present. "They will cone with each ring of the bell." she said softly , and smiled gently."Remember what I have told you." she said and slowly disspeared, turning to fog.


Belladonna grinned. "One down, two to go." she said with a chuckle. "They aren't nearly as nice."

Ooc: Time for Ghost Two!


Belladonna looked back at the clock and couldn't supress a chuckle. "Three, two, one..." she counted down.

The clock struck the hour, and nothing happened... Except for a growing ring of light coming closer, and jovial laughter. It was a large male dog, in his prime, with red fur and twinkling eyes. "Whos the one I'm after tonght?" he asked jokingly.

OOC: do you think it would make sense to have Balto and Jenna and the family in this one? Since Steele knows them.
