Fern said good night to her siblings and walked back up to her room. When she got in, she stopped at the doorway, staring at the sight before her. She quickly closed the door again before turning on Cody. "What do you think you are doing?!" she said, struggling to keep her voice a whiper so her family wouldn't hear.

Cody kept on looking through her stuff and said "I'm looking through your stuff. I am your sire after all. I am basically a parent to you right now because I turned you earlier this month and I want to know what kind of person I sired to make sure that I didn't sire a psycho. So sit down and relax. I won't tell anyone what I have seen unless it's disturbing or psychotic in other words."

Fern marched over to Cody and grabbed the stuff that he had in his hands and put them back. "No, you are not going through my things no matter what you excuse is," she said.

Cody grabbed Fern by her throat and slammed her into one of her bedroom walls while saying "Look. I am in charge. I'm going through your stuff and you're going to let me." He growled at her and his eyes shifted to his wolf eyes.

Fern sat on the floor, completely taken by surprise by Cody's reaction. Her back hurt from the impact, but she managed to stand up again. "No, as a matter of fact, I won't give you my permission," she said crossly, though not physically going back to try and stop him since she didn't want to be thrown across the room again.

Cody went back to looking through her stuff and said "Who asked for permission anyways? I didn't. I know that. I had permission from the start because I am your sire but after I am sure you are sane I will never do this to you again."

Fern sat in a huff on her bed, not at all happy that she couldn't stop him. "I don't care who you are, you still shouldn't be going through my stuff."

Cody sighed and said "I don't want to either but this is the law. Every wolf who sires another wolf must make sure that wolf is sane or put it down for the survival of the species. I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't absolutely necessary. This is to prevent anyone to get killed Fern. You don't want to kill anyone do you?"

"No, but I wasn't worried about killing anyone until just now either," Fern said, glaring at the floor. "Does it look like up the kind of person that would go around killing people for no reason?"

Cody shook his head and said "It doesn't matter if you look like it or not. It matters if you actually do kill people or not. So can I continue or not?"

"Will it stop you if I tell you now?" Fern replied smartly.

Cody sighed and said "No but please tell me what you want me to do."

"Do whatever you want to do," Fern said, laying down on her bed with a thump. "But I don't have to watch."

Cody continued doing what he was once doing before Fern interrupted and said "That's okay." Once he was done, he smiled and said "You're the sanest person I've ever known. It's a pleasure to have met you, Fern. Sorry for the intrusion but like I said it was necessary for everyone's safety depended upon it. I will never do that to you again. Do you want me to leave?"

Fern glanced up at him, sitting herself up again. "Well, I was planning on going to bed soon," she replied.
