"Alright." She jumped to the top of a nearby tree. "Jaci, huphup!" The Blue Lion swiftly climbed the tree and leaped onto the back of Setsuko's glider, which she had opened. Setsuko jumped off the branch, creeping steadily higher as flew.

Rue used a running start, then hur;ed herself off the ground. SHe beat her wings fast and hard, rising to meet Setsuko.

Setsuko breathed deeply. What was really just still air felt like a strong current of wind as she sailed through the sky. Jaci ducked his head down nervously and closed his amber eyes, but Setsuko just grinned, laughing as she exhaled. It felt great to just soar freely for now.

Rue smiled broadly as Setsuko laughed. "You want to see who can dive faster?" she calle dover the wind.

"That's quite alright," Setsuko called back. "I'm not that good at diving." But then a daring idea struck her. "Hold on tight, Jaci," She whispered, "Hold on really tight." The Blue Lion mewed his complaint, but obeyed. Adventurous look back on her face, Setsuko turned upward at a sharp angle, and then slowly upside down. Jaci yowled in fear as Setsuko completed the large loop. The girl, on the other had, was laughing joyously, face bright with excitement.

"Nice loop!" Rue compliemented. She had never thought to try a loop before. Maybe she would. She soared upward, then flipped around. Adrenaline shot through her as her world flipped.

"Fun, isn't it?" Setsuko called. "Of course, it scares Jaci to death!" Jaci let out a frustrated hiss at the tease.

Rue laughed. "Poor Jaci," she teased.

Jaci hissed louder, baring his teeth at Rue. Setsuko laughed. "Calm down Jaci, you know it's true!" She informed. Jaci ignored her and put his head back down on the pole, closing his eyes. "Hey, I could drop you off at the cabin if you'd like," Jaci meowed thankfully. "Hey, Rue," Setsuko called, "I'm gonna take Jaci to the cabin, he wants a break. I'll be right back!" She sped off in the opposite direction, wind ruffling her hair and Jaci's pelt. She neared the ground as she reached the cabin. Jaci jumped off excitedly, and Setsuko had to make a sharp upward turn to keep from crashing. "Stay in the cabin, Jaci! I'll be back soon!" She called over her shoulder as she zoomed back towards Rue, going at a much faster pace now that she was free from Jaci's weight.

Rue soared downward to meet Setsuko. SHe was used to flying much higher, she could breathe thinner air than ormal humans could. BUt flying was flyin nonetheless.

Setsuko flew in a wide circle, wondering if Rue would do the same.

Rue angled herself so she flew beside Setsuko, ending uyp soaring in a big circle with her

Hm, Setsuko thought as they chased each other in the wide circle, We're almost moving like Yin and Yang. We're even from opposite worlds. She wondered if she should mention this to Rue. She decided it would be Ok, but later. Now was certainly not the time.

"Something on your mind?" Rue asked Setsuko, seeing she was deep in thought.

Setsuko snapped out of it. "Oh, nothing really. I was just thinking. The way we're flying like this and the fact that we seem to be from two different worlds...we're like Yin and Yang." Of course, Rue being from a different world, Setsuko wasn't sure if she'd know what YinYang was, but hey, it was a thought worth mentioning.
