Shay glared back. She didn't anger easily, but she was exhausted, putting off sleep to help Dr. Rell take care of the patient, then watch the place. So this made her grumpy, and short of temper. "You're in Dr. Rell's office," she finally answered, a bit of frustration apparent in her voice.

Archie stared for a minute, then realized what happened to him and remembered Ryan. He cursed under his breath as he threw the covers off himself and attempted to stand up. He immediately growled in pain and fell back down on the bed.

Archie rolled over so he was lying on his back. "What's the word, doc?" he asked impatiently.
Dr. Rells told him, "You're going to be fine, mostly because you're still young. But if you ever get in an accident like that again, there's a fair chance you may not survive." With that, he ended with, "You may not want to ride any horses, because the wound may begin to bleed again. Looks like you'll have to walk until it's fully healed."
"What?!" Archie screamed.

At that moment, a knock came from near the doorway. Though the door was open, Ryan was hesitant in entering unnanounced and uninvited. His gaze inevitabley strayed to Archibauld, who looked to be on the mend...and rather angry.
