OOC: I haven't seen that series in particular, but it's pretty cool. Later series are pretty good to.

Tai nodded, still looking afraid.

Tina nodded. "Yeah, I guess its another positive trait I got from that blasted genetic alteration," she stated. "Though I have to admit, if it weren't for the Outsider, I wouldn't mind this so much, if it were just the experments, I'd say it was worth it, but why they did the experment is what infuriates me. They wanted to make me a weapon, if it'd been something like trying to bridge the gap between humans and animals or the like, I'd understand and like it. I don't like being used as a weapon."

Jenna nodded. "If it was for good, I wouldn't mind, I'd give my eye teeth to be able to communicate with Rosie," she said. "If it was for that, I'd volinteer."
Tina nodded. "Yeah, I can read and right," she explained. "All the dogs connected to Outsiders could, helpped warn humans," she explained. "...Though I must admit, there are some tradgic things about the Outsiders...they can't feel compassion, they're physically incapable of it," she explained. "...This Outsider is a sadistic monster...but not all of them were, the original Outsider...it wasn't after its dog for programing or something...it was because it knew it was an abomination and a hidious monster...and that dog, a genetic creation and its 'brother' to speak was loved by all the scientists around them...it knew it could never be loved, and that drove it mad..." she explained. "It begged the humans that took the dog in to kill it..."

Tai whimpered a little bit, looking a little more firghtened.
Katie smiled, letting herself melt and nuzzle her pup comfortingly. "Just... warn your sister about other animals, okay?"
Balto nodded. "But they don't want that to happen again, right? Or can the humans not control the thing's emotions?' he asked.

"I don't know..." said Tina. "But...the fact the original Outsider hated itself so much it begged to be killed..." she said. "These humans that do this...they're worse monsters than the Outsiders are..."

"Believe me, I know," said Tina. "It's not fun, but there are many capable of great good, like Rosie."
Jenna nodded. "Duke too, he may have nearly cost the sled dogs their job, but he didn't mean too," she said. "...Do Sled dogs stick around into your time?"
"Well not for the same purposes, but thanks to Balto, there's a lot of work in sled races," said Tina. "In 1973, the Iditarod, one of the biggest sled dog races in the world, begins and is held every year along that very path, it's in part thanks to Balto and the sled teams famious run it started to honor mushers and the dogs."
