Erin looked at Cody, grateful. She whipped her head around as he was put into a bag, and the truck door was shut. Crap! she thought.

Erin sat on the floor, hopeless. They had escaped only to get caught. She sighed. This suckked. The major understatment.

Cassie just barely saw the were-animal's capture. "No!" She cried. "Come on, Ben!" And the two of them took off after the vehicle, but alas, they where exhausted and could not go on. "No..." said Cassie, voice cracking.

"It's OK, Cassie," Ben comforted best he could. "We'll catch up with them. We won't give up!"

Cassie stared at him with her determined blue-gray eyes, and nodded.

Dakota was about to leap off the truck when something struck her on her spine. she fell to the ground and felt a wire wrapp around the neck and pulling her. She tried to pull against it but everytime she did, she was choked. She gagged and coughed for air but it wasn't working to well. She then desided it would be better if she didn't pull against it. She let stopped pulling and was dragged and thrown into a back seat of an SUV. She was then sedated and slowly only saw blackness and heard nothing.

Cassie sat down behind an old building, Ben by her side. They needed a break before the went after the others again. Both where breathing hard. "I can't believe they where caught like that. It's all my fault, too!" Cassie wailed.

"No, it's not," Ben answered, "If it's anyone's fault, it's mine. I'm the one who made you turn back. I'm the one who couldn't keep up."

"Don't say that!" Snapped Cassie. "I may have turned back for you, but I still made the choice to do that. I could have helped them get away first..." Her voice trailed off. Never before had the two of them had such a rough day. Cassie felt like crying.

Tsarina jumped from tree to tree in high speed. she moved swift and smooth. She only left shaking leafs after her. She stopped on a branch who looked stabil and looked back after the others.

Ben watched helplessly as Cassie's face screwed up and leaked. He knew her better than to stop the tears. He watched in silence, not sure what to do. The crying lasted minutes, but every minute felt an hour. When at last her sobs began to slow, Ben put his now rather dirty hand on her face.

Cassie felt the touch and opened her eyes, glancing sideways at her friend. She turned to face him. It was a familiar Ben-face...full of compassion and calmness and in this case, shared sadness. She smiled faintly. "Maybe you're right," She whispered, so quietly Ben had to strain to hear, "Maybe it wasn't my fault. But it wasn't yours, either."

Erin sat in darkness, hearing the others panicked breaths. Despair threatened to overwhelm her as the car stopped. She morphed into panther and her tail swished angrily.

ooc--You double'd again...

Cassie morphed into lynx form and laid down, resting her eyes. Sleep would do her good after this chaotic day. It wasn't long before her breathing slowed and she lost consciousness.

For a while, Ben kept watch, occasionally turning to his lynx-y friend. He yawned. Ok, maybe he needed a rest too. He laid down awkwardly, using Cassie's soft, thick fur as a pillow.

Erin swallowed as she heard voices. She shifted on the floor. Her eyes narrowed and her hackles raised as she growled low in her throat. She stood and let her claws out.

Dakota stirred in her sleep. She moaned and rolled over on her side slowly. She blinked and opened her eyes but she was still in a sack. She slowed her breathing when she heard voices. "Where are we going to leave the cats?' an old, raspy voice said. There was a buzzing and Dakota knew the man was on a cell phone.

Erin heard the movements and groan and helped Dakota out of the sack. Erin looked at her sadly. She sat next to her, taking comfort in her company. She let out a growl as she hear bangs outside and her fur stood on end. She began pacing again.

It is paused untill Pure_ONe, Poison_Kiss, and husky5 post.

Lava almost jumped off the truck, and then someone grabbed her by the throat and whiped her into a bag. "ow....." she groaned.
