Luke looked up at her. "I'm sorry...no one deserves to lose someone special to them." he said. He nuzzled her to show he cared.
"Well togather, we should be strong enough to raise a piller to block the pass once we're through." said Alex. He looked to Jessie. This pack understands what its like to lose people who mattered to them, they know what its like to feel that pain...Suki, you hate yourself, I know you're in a lot of pain inside but hating yourself won't do any good for anyone, would your parents want you to feel like this?...would you like to ask them yourself? I can arange that. he told Suki telepathically.

Suki was takeb back by the pups nuzzle. She stard at him and then looked back at Alex when his voice filled her mind. She shook her head at his question.
"Sounds good," Luna said. "But we have to get passed the cats and through the passage way first."

The past is the past, Suki, beating yourself isn't going to change that but you decide your future. Do you want to be miserable all your life or live it to the fullist? Ask yourself, what would your parents want you to do? Alex told her, then looked to Luna. "I agree." he said. "The question is, do they even know where to look?"

Suki looked away from Alex, not readt to face the truth yet.
"Probably not," Luna said. "But they know the pups are gone and are looking. They have to be guarding the wall to make sure they dion't get out."

"We'll just have to be quick about getting out and pulling down that pillar," Luna said. "Unless we can think of something else that will discrate Kira and the others."
"Suki," Suki said simply, not really sure why this pup was being so nice to her.
"Mine's Lily," Liy said, padding up to sit beside her brother.

"We'll have to see what animals are around at the time." said Alex. He looked at Suki. He's being nice to you because he's a pup that hasn't let the loss of his mother make him bitter. Suki, I can tell in your heart, you're a good wolf, you're covering a broken heart but everyone here will understand you, you don't have to hide who you really are. If you let this turn you into a bitter, stubborn wolf, the ones that killed your parents won because even though they didn't kill your body, they killed who you really are, do you want that?
"That's a nice name." said Luke. "I'm sorry you lost someone important to you." he said. "Its not fair."

"What if we were able to make an illusion?" Luna asked, the idea just striking her. "Like, we make Kira and the others think they see the pups, so they move away from the wall. We'll be through and have the entrance closed before they know they'd been fooled."
"No, it's not fair," Suki said. She tried to shake Alex's voice from her mind, but failed. "Get out of my head!" she suddenly yelled at him. "This is who I am and if you can't accept that than that's not my problem." She stormed away from the clearing and disappearing into the trees.
Lily was stunned by Suki's out burst. She watched the wolf leave with wide eyes.

"That may work." said Alex, then heard Suki's outburst and watched her storm off, normally he'd let her cool off but that wasn't an option. He appeared in front of her. "Suki, I'm sorry, normally I'd just let you cool down but their is a psychopathic tiger and her cronies out there wanting to kill us and I can't let them get to you." he said. "And its not just because I'll lose my chance to get my wings...its because you'll become an angel of death if I let that happen." he said. "That's the truth...I was told that when I was sent down...I just kept it a secret because I didn't want to scare you but I was sent to help you get back on the right track and fix yourself up so that wouldn't happen." he said, he stopped talking to let the impact sink in. "You've sealed yourself away from the rest of the world inside...A bad dog isn't the only way to become an Angel of Death...not living your life, not enjoying it makes your soul shrink and whither...if you die like that, you have to be an Angel of Death until you guide a soul you connect with to the other side and restore your own."
Luke went over to his father and curled up next to him. "Papa...I missed you so much." he said, deciding to let the angel handle Suki. He started crying. "I need to let out the hurt I've seen all this time...can I please?"

Luna watched Alex go after Suki. She was worried for the wolf. Kira and the others might be close.

"There are lives other than yours on the line here." said Alex. "Those pups need your help, Cutlass does too." he said. "You're just being a big...crybaby!" he said, starting to lose his temper. "You don't care about anyone but yourself, you're a selfish, stubborn wolf." he said. "I'm sorry you had a hard life but that's no excuse for abandoning someone that needs your help! You think everyone that loses something important to them curls up in a little ball inside themselves and lets the world pass you by? They need you! How would you feel if they got killed by those tigers and you could've saved them?!"
Luke started crying, letting out all his sadness that had been building up for weeks.
