Cassie ran a hand through her hair at this statement. "I'm not exactly sure whats going on," she said slowly, trying not to let all her thoughts out at once like before. "I've just been thinking about... things. I've never been this close to loosing somebody before, and it's taking a toll on me." She paused. "I never expected to be so scared for someone else before. This is all new to me. And I can't put a word to what I feel."

Cassie paused after Curtis shut his door. She allowed what he had said to sink in. The whole pack cared for everyone, right? This wasn't anything specail, she finally convinced herself before getting out of the car too.

Cassie crossed her arms over her stomach as she walked. Her stomach was no longer feeling normal, but she wasn't sick. Just nerves. Stress.

Cassie hurried inside, ready for a nice large cup of coffee. She drunk in the smell of the hot drink and reminded herself to wait for Curis before rushing over to a table.

Cassie folowed behind Curtis and ordered herself a medium coffee. Dark, of course. She glanced at Curtis when the cashier told them the amount due. She hadn't brough any money with her.
