The news doesn't talk about bad things all the time... they talk about pointless things I don't wanna hear! Like one of the Kansas City Chiefs players did something bad that wasn't related to the team. What!?!? I don't care, and if I did I'd be gettin' on NFL's official website and checkin' it out. Or one of the Royals players is celebrating his 5th anniversery when he stopped using crack. "Sir, what do you have to say about crack abuse?" "Well, for words... Crack is bad, you gon get busted by police if you use it or worse get shot down... it's... it's bad." :o Well then, happy birthday! Loser.

I also hear "To day someone was shot, or a police man is wonded due to a shoot out, or even better the one I hear so many times today there was an accdent on the freeway." Well no duh this is Atlanta There is going to be accdents and shooting untill you get more police, and get more police to watch the roads because you see so many people speeding or going too slow.

In my opinion. people are just looking for somewhere to place the blame on violence. They see video games as a perfect target.

I've played doom 3. Most bloody and voilent game I ever played, but it didn't make me anymore violent. I guess some people are more impressionable than others.

I don't see how games can cause a kid to shoot up his/her school, the same can be said with movies and music.

Anybody else find it amusing how fast the Gov. and parents are to try and stop a certain game, like Bully, from hitting the shelves but they're slow to do something that's more important, like funding schools?

In my opinion this all boils down to something else that parents are shoving off onto the government and not taking responsability of. Yes, games are violant, yes the media can be horrid and distructive, but I still am sticking with what I said earlier. This kind of thing should be delt with in the home, by the parents. Chances are that any story that try to blame video games for somethings will conviniently leave out were the parents were. That's my question to the world, where are the parents, the people who mold the very lives of our youth. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of parents out there who are fantastic and loving and raise their children right, but it is all to often a child goes bad because of bad parenting. I've seen it happen, but there are a few kids I know who have turned out fine besides of their crappy parents. That's the way I see it.

I once heard of a tv show about these teenage boys who were under 18 and they did bad stuff after playing grand theft auto vice city. these things include attacking or murdering people. But I hathe fact that they blame it all on video games because I also think its bad parents most of the time.
